## Sequence Reviews
  ### 1. One place for everything we need in billing.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will D. | GTM, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequence?**

The thing that’s stood out the most for us is how much of our quote-to-cash process is now in one place. Our pricing is usage-based and fairly involved, but Sequence handles it without us having to develop a bunch of workarounds. Building quotes using the CPQ module is intuitive, e-signature is built-in, and once a deal gets signed the billing schedules and invoices follow on naturally. It’s a smooth process from quote to payment.

**What do you dislike about Sequence?**

Nothing big. There are edge cases that can require help, but the support team is responsive and the issues we’ve raised have tended to show up on the roadmap.

**What problems is Sequence solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequence consolidated our quoting, contracts, billing, and invoicing into a single system. Instead of stitching together multiple products, we can handle them in one workflow. For a usage-based model like ours, that means fewer manual steps and far more confidence in what we do.

  ### 2. We redesigned our whole CPQ and Quote to Cash process around Sequence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan S. | Head of Business Operations // Chief of Staff, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequence?**

We were invoicing out of a few different tools with a manual process running in parallel, and Sequence consolidated all of it into one place while letting us keep Stripe for payment processing. The product is genuinely easy to use, which matters when non-finance folks need to find an invoice or understand a customer's billing setup. But my favorite part is their incredible support. The response time is amazing and any time I have a question I'm immediately routed to the right person.

**What do you dislike about Sequence?**

Nothing major. When we've raised things the team has been quick to respond and usually has a fix or workaround the same day.

**What problems is Sequence solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before, we were doing all our commercial agreements with word docs and docusign. It put a huge burden on the team, and the experience for our customers was still terrible. With Sequence, our Sales team can create great-looking quotes, send them to prospects, make changes on the fly based on negotiations, and then, once the Quote is signed, my job is easy. Invoicing is basically automatic, I just have to review and say "start." Nowadays, we're getting way less scrutiny on our docs (since we redesigned the whole process and docs around Sequence) and our AR is better than ever. Sequence makes me look like I'm great at my job, even though finance is only like a quarter of my job. Can't imagine my job without Sequence.

  ### 3. Billing automation that scales with usage-heavy contracts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anjili S. | VP Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequence?**

We run a mix of fixed fees and pass-through usage charges from vendors like Plaid and Alloy, which made invoicing a recurring headache. Sequence consolidates everything into a single invoice per customer, fixed and usage-based billing in one place, which removed a whole category of manual reconciliation work. The API lets our engineers push usage data directly so nothing falls through the gaps, and billing schedules give us flexibility on how charges are structured without needing to touch anything month to month.

**What do you dislike about Sequence?**

Nothing really .

**What problems is Sequence solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Sequence we were managing revenue across spreadsheets with no reliable single source of truth. The combination of usage-based billing and billing schedules means we can handle complex pass-through pricing without building anything custom. We're also exploring the contract intake agent to automate schedule creation from signed contracts, which would close the last manual loop in our AR process.

  ### 4. Lightning-Fast Setup and Support That Accelerates Invoicing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequence?**

The speed — and not just from the product itself, but from the entire Sequence team throughout the purchasing, onboarding, and go-live process. The product is highly intuitive and quick to set up, and their support is the fastest I've worked with. They are incredibly responsive and helpful, often shipping product updates within a day based on feedback we provide. They've accommodated our custom needs and enabled a significantly faster invoicing flow.

**What do you dislike about Sequence?**

Nothing to note at this time, has been a much smoother billing experience for us.

**What problems is Sequence solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a highly manual invoicing and collections process within NetSuite, and Sequence has significantly reduced the time it takes to invoice each month. As we continue to scale, this efficiency will only become more valuable.

  ### 5. Fast Quoting to Seamless Billing—A Smooth, Time-Saving Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arno L. | Head of Finance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequence?**

The team is very responsive and helpful to solve problems / add new features.

**What do you dislike about Sequence?**

Nothing comes to mind so far, it's been a solid experience and the team has been easy to work with.

**What problems is Sequence solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Sequence, our teams are all connected, so the process is faster and there’s less room for mistakes.

  ### 6. Modern and flexible billing with clean integrations into Xero, Stripe & Attio

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julien M. | Co-Founder, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequence?**

The flexibility has been the main benefit for us. We’ve been able to configure different pricing models and contract terms without workarounds, and adjust things as the business changes. The CPQ side integrates cleanly with Attio for sales, while Stripe and Xero handle payments and accounting on the back end.

**What do you dislike about Sequence?**

Nothing major, we've implemented a good feedback loop with the Sequence team and they've been very receptive so far. It’s been a smooth experience, and we’re excited to see the team keep improving the product.

**What problems is Sequence solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a billing setup that could handle a range of pricing models without adding complexity. Sequence gave us that flexibility and reduced the amount of manual intervention needed from the team.

  ### 7. A Practical Way to Get Billing Live Fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan G. | Co-founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequence?**

The biggest surprise was how fast we got live. Setup was straightforward, the configuration was intuitive, and there was no long or painful implementation phase. We were up and running quickly with quoting, billing, and payments flowing through Sequence, and Stripe and Xero connected on the finance side. It felt very practical to roll out.

**What do you dislike about Sequence?**

Nothing significant so far. We’ve shared a few small quality-of-life suggestions, and it’s been good to see the team actually listen and act on them.

**What problems is Sequence solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking to remove manual billing work without taking on a heavy implementation project. Sequence let us do that quickly, and as a result the team is spending far less time on billing operations now.

  ### 8. Sequence, our Go-To Platform for Quotes, Subscriptions, and Revenue Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequence?**

What stands out most about Sequence is how easy it is to actually use. The interface is clean and intuitive, nothing feels overcomplicated or buried in menus. We can jump in and find what we need without having to dig through a bunch of confusing navigation. It just works the way you'd expect it to. Plus, their support team is genuinely responsive when we have questions or run into issues. They actually show up and help us get things sorted quickly. And beyond that, their team provided hands-on help with our deployment, migration, and integration with our CRM and accounting tools, so everything flows together seamlessly without friction.

**What do you dislike about Sequence?**

We've encountered some bugs and there are features we wish existed. However, their team takes these issues seriously and moves quickly on fixes.

**What problems is Sequence solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequence serves as a centralized platform for quotes, subscriptions, and invoicing. It's become our central source of data for revenue calculation, which keeps everything aligned across our finance and operations teams. Beyond what we're using today, we're planning to implement usage-based billing in the future, and having that foundation in place now means we won't need to overhaul our systems when we make that shift.

  ### 9. Sequence Streamlined Our Quote-to-Bill Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequence?**

Sequence has made our quoting to billing process much smoother. Our sales team can generate quotes quickly, as everything is based on a shared product catalog and quote templates. That’s improved consistency and reduced back-and-forth between sales, finance, and operations. We reviewed a few modern billing platforms during our search, but Sequence stood out for how straightforward the product felt and how engaged the team was both throughout onboarding and during the short implementation period.

**What do you dislike about Sequence?**

Nothing significant so far. The experience has been positive, and we’re interested to see how the product continues to develop.

**What problems is Sequence solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, quoting and billing were handled across multiple tools and manual processes. With Sequence, everything runs through a single system, which has improved accuracy, reduced internal coordination, and helped us move deals through the pipeline more efficiently.

  ### 10. Great Platform for Managing Usage-Based Billing Complexities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard A. | Assurance Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequence?**

Sequence is a great platform that supports usage based billing and all of the complexities that come with it. A perfect piece of the path to end to end order to cash automation!

**What do you dislike about Sequence?**

right now sequence is a very new product, so while their integrations are expanding there are some current limitations.

**What problems is Sequence solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequence has helped me solve the complexities and tedious processes inherent with usage based billing models
