**What do you like best about Searchlight.ai?**

It can be integrated into Greenhouse. Searchlight will trigger when it lands to the Searchlight phase. I like how you can download the report and share it easily with the team.

**What do you dislike about Searchlight.ai?**

I get notified when the first Searchlight review has been completed. However, it doesn't notify me when all the references that have been submitted are complete. I need to check back on the platform to see how many references are done.

**What problems is Searchlight.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many managers do not have the bandwidth to call a reference. It's nice that this reference check is in the form of an email. It will take referrals 10-15 minutes to complete.

Ease of use is a plus but the internal team and their desire to perfect their product is the best.

SearchLight is so fast and agile for finding top talented candidates with right skills. Hiring a new staff is possible with the lowest cost and highest accuracy at shortest time.  In-app filters have the ability for  powerful search.

It has no problems and helped us so much in reducing employment costs and staff selection that I think it is one of the best of its kind and has been perfect and good for me in every way.

**What do you like best about Searchlight.ai?**

Searchlight has decreased the time it took for us to complete reference checks significantly! 

Searchlight's integration with Lever was a huge selling point when we looked to automate our process. It has not disappointed us yet. It integrates flawlessly and has cut out quite a few steps that we were doing manually before. I love that it automatically puts all the candidate information into searchlight as soon as we switch them to that stage in lever. No more inputting candidate information manually in a google form...yay!! 

We love how we can customize our assessments completely to get all the crucial information to make significant hiring decisions from references. The option to have different specialized assessments for different roles is excellent as well. 

The Reference Prospects is also an awesome function that we enjoy. It allows us to have the contact information for references that are interested in opportunities which cut down sourcing time for our team as well!

The Searchlight team is also FANTASTIC and always available when we have a question, have a problem with integration, or need to make changes to our assessments.

**What do you dislike about Searchlight.ai?**

There honestly isn't anything we don't like about Searchlight! I think every scaling company should have it!

**What problems is Searchlight.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Searchlight has completely changed the game for us when it comes to getting references from our candidates. Before Searchlight,  all of our reference checks were completed manually via Video call. This old process would take over a week or more to complete them for EACH candidate because we would have to find a time that works for both us and the reference to have that call. The process was not scalable AT ALL. Searchlight has decreased our average time for completed references from over a week to 2 DAYS! It has opened up so much more time for us to continue to improve our candidate closing process.

**What do you like best about Searchlight.ai?**

We've used Searchlight.ai for the past couple of years at our startup, and it helped tremendously as I scaled my team from 5 to 15. By bringing reference checks earlier into the interview process, we were able to quickly get more data about prospective employees. It's also incredible to have all of the names, phone numbers, etc. of the references saved in one place, and to be able to look at candidates on a single dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Searchlight.ai?**

I would love to see a simpler user interface for customizing the questions. Right now, we have to reach out to their team in order to update the template. It would be awesome if we could customize it in the future!

The team & product are great. I'd highly recommend using their product for reference checks of employees!

from the candidate perspective, I recieved several reminder email to complete the referencne even after I had already completed the reference. Less reminders once the information has been provided.

We love the user interface because it is fast and responsive. This tool is very easy to use. We can store references information in one place and view candidates' information on one single dashboard. With Searchlight, our company can set golden customizations on what traits we are looking for per job description. Intelligent Parsing allows you to extract the best information from the resume submitted by candidates, and has seen the the best performance across multiple formats and sets a new benchmark.

The behavioral and predictive talent insights put the tools into the next level by using artificial intelligence and gathering insights that allow you  to suit the job role to the best candidate and reduce any bias

The filter of the tool allows you to sort out the perfect candidate and automate the interview process.The process of selecting a candidate is very easy with the help of predictive intelligence the toll offers.

The tool allows you to onboard a candidate enabling them to easily fit into the organization with organised steps, including Complex tasks and this feature has been completely adapted to all the hires.

**What do you dislike about Searchlight.ai?**

Certain best practices that our company used to perform before scheduling an interview has been lost however this did not potentially bring any kind of concern or cause to the organisation however we are planning to integrate the set of values that add using this best practices along side the tool

The hiring team is completely outsourced and had a difficult time to hire candidates that benefit the job description at the same time maintaining our culture and inclusion for our organization. The reporting insights for our candidate and reference engagement is strong and continuously improving. Searchlight enables our company to set our golden standards/customizations on what traits we are looking for per role. From there, we're able to see and measure the common strenghs of our candidates and utilize that information to understand how we can also customize proper career growth and development for when they come on board.

It's difficult to identify a dislike since every product improvement and idea has been communicated in a transparent manner. Every point and idea we're interested in seeing on the platform eventually comes to fruition so I appreciate how Searchlight takes the time to execute product improvements that help us understand and read our reference data.

We're able to cut down on time it takes to run reference checks! This is huge, as we previously ran traditional phone calls and could not drill those down as metrics.

As a values-driven company, Searchlight has allowed us to ensure our reference checks reflect this. The founders are very data-driven and this shows in the product they've created as well. We're so impressed with functionality such as the performance reviews that they're releasing. Most importantly, Searchlight is an amazing partner that truly works with our team to understand your needs and build a product that meets them. They're responsive to feedback and overall, an amazing vendor to work with.

In every way, the recruitment process and the selection of the right personnel has been simplified for us, and all the steps have become a coherent automation. We are able to integrate earlier in the hiring process to reduce friction at the closing stage by providing greater insight into qualifications and resumes, so you can hire from underrepresented backgrounds with increased confidence.

Searchlight is user-friendly (from a candidate and recruiter perspective), automated in the right ways, the insights are easy to understand, and the Searchlight team has been so supportive throughout our implementation and entire partnership. They are open to feedback and have been super flexible with any product requests we may have had. We absolutely love working with them.

This is tough because I think they are doing great things. I would say that a more robust integration with Greenhouse could be helpful to push and pull job information and "Intake" notes. That would make the end-to-end recruitment process seamless.

It works better than any human I have seen as its actions are logic-ruled. It helps our selection process by profiling the idea candidate who makes our job a lot easier. It is capable of utilizing your network to know whether or not you would fit in into a company. It is often very accurate

The obvious problem is the reduced reliance on human ideas and interventions. That in principle cannot be replaced

My favorite features in Searchlight are creating a New Position Kickoff and requesting references via Searchlight. When I am assigned a new requisition, I can quickly create a New Position Kickoff document in Searchlight that both myself and the hiring manager are able to work off of the document simultaneously. Additionally, the integration Searchlight has with Greenhouse makes the reference process seamless.

Anything I have recommended as enhancements have already been done, so I do not have any dislikes.

Searchlight.ai makes the reference process move more quickly. References like it, as they complete a simple, direct survey. Candidates feel more comfortable that their process is handled in a consistent matter that feels fair.

Generally, there isn't anything we've been disappointed in regarding the service.

It was taking significant time for our recruiters to schedule calls with references - time that could be better used at the top of the recruiting funnel, finding great candidates. With Searchlight.ai taking care of this for us, we were able to move quicker to close out the recruiting process.

**What do you like best about Searchlight.ai?**

Ease of use from the candidate and user perspective.  Also, the fact that the timing of when we gather and have this information gives references more validity as employers can have extra data points to make hiring decisions before making the actual hiring decision!  References of the past have been used as a formality after you want to move forward with a candidate anyways and most references tend to be positive.  Searchlight adds so much depth of information for a reference that you can not only use this tool to make a hiring decision but also as a tool for the person's growth plan AFTER you've hired them!

Grasping at straws to think of downsides here...

As mentioned earlier, it brings relevance back to references and gives you data points before a final interview is conducted.  Also, the information is so deep that you can also use it for a growth plan for the employee if you end up hiring them.

**What do you like best about Searchlight.ai?**

The best part of Searchlight is that it requires very little time and work from your team to get tons of useful information about candidates.

**What do you dislike about Searchlight.ai?**

The part of the product experience that comes before collecting the references — setting up your roles, assigning a hiring manager, etc. — is still kind of rough. I expect that they'll improve this over time though!

**What problems is Searchlight.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Conducting references on candidates paints a much fuller picture by producing information that would be very hard to generate through a traditional interview process. Conducting references takes time and effort though, so it's tempting to either skip references or keep them very short. With Searchlight, we're able to run references on every candidate that we're serious about hiring.
