I messaged their chat and their team responded right away. Their COO also sent me a $50 credit asking for feedback which I thought was super cool. Their API allows for custom workflows. I find the fetch requests to be zappy and smooth: 15 requests per second. Overall, if you're a bit tech-savvy, I'd certainly try them to determine if ScrapIn is a fit for your use case. I say there's a good chance that in the coming years, they have the potential to be the go-to platform for profile and company data scraping from LinkedIn URLs. However, when trialing ScrapIn against other scrapers, I noticed they pulled in more results, much faster. You are paying for quality I suppose. The UI/UX isn't fully developed, but that's clear when you log into the site. They are working on enhancing the experience for ease of use. The request for feedback shows that they care and are working to improve, which is nice. Although they have documentation to walk you through the steps of integrating their API, it still takes someone with basic coding knowledge to utilize their API properly. With that said, ScrapIn is primarily for developers at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is ScrapIn solving and how is that benefiting you? I have a list of leads with LinkedIn URLs and it would take FOREVER if I attempted to manually parse the data. That's where ScrapIn comes in. With their API, I drop a list of LinkedIn URLs and within seconds or minutes, I have complete data for ever profile: name, title, company, etc. There are approximately 30+ data points that get pulled back with each request, so it's a lot of information which then gives me the ability to market services more effectively to our potential clients. For my specific needs, ScrapIn provided all the tools necessary to scrape needed information. My only complaint would be the pricing tiers; the subscription I chose just about fit my needs, however, if I needed to scrape just a bit more that would dramatically increase the costs. As said, the pricing tiers are disproportional and increase very quickly. Other than that, I would have liked to see more options in regards to the amount of data scraped; selecting specific parts for example could decrease the amount of time needed to scrape and yield more specific results, removing the need to dissect the scraped data after scraping (at least for my usecase). The API is super simple. You can use first, last name and company domain to search for linkedin URL. I was able to build an App Script in Google Sheet to help me fill out the information I need, saving me time to look for them manually. Be it all, it's not perfect, but it's a time saver.
