"SAS IML as a learning tool in academe"
What do you like best about SAS/IML?

The ability for students to construct linear model analysis of the methods covered in class without simply relying on preset functions in SAS or other software. Students can see how the same structures and steps result in the appropriate analyses and can then see how the preset procedures in SAS give the same values. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAS/IML?

The learning curve can be a bit steep for students not as familiar with basic programming skills like loops and linear algebra skills like matrix mulitplication. This can be overcome with some basic training before diving into SAS/IML. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
