We have found that some of the AI safety alerts are incorrect and the AI is not able to compensate or correctly detect action items if there are glasses on the driver's face or if the driver is taking a drink. There are a lot of functions with the software that we do not know how to use. We find out more all the time, but it can be overwhelming at times if you arent tech savvy. I do not like how the camera shows only six-second or six-minute clips. Because there are some situations where I have to retrieve video, and it's not as effective or efficient as it could be. I value the visibility Samsara can provide into equipment and assets operating across different project locations. Coordinating machinery, trailers, and other resources between sites can be challenging, so having relevant asset information in one platform helps with planning and allocation. I appreciate being able to access vehicle activity information when helping the team coordinate customer deliveries. Having better visibility into vehicle movements can make it easier to follow up on delivery schedules and communicate with the relevant staff when plans change. Delivery coordination still involves communication between several departments, and unexpected changes can require additional manual follow up. It’s really easy for me to track our drivers in real time. Most importantly, the system sends us immediate notifications whenever one of our rigs is involved in an accident. Connectivity, GPS, and cellular signals can be unreliable or delayed in remote and underground areas. We should consider ways to ensure these areas remain accessible through Samsara, including rural routes, underground parking facilities, and other low-coverage zones. I use Samsara for controlling my vehicles. I appreciate the actual location tracking feature, which is pretty cool. Knowing immediately what time the vehicle is in one place is practical. The fuel management is not a problem because of the idling tracking. One of the biggest highlights of Samsara is the reports. I think the platform itself is pretty cool, easy to share, easy to show, and easy to handle. Also, sometimes we need to pull out information quickly, and handling that with Samsara is pretty cool. I like the Visibility that we have on the whereabouts of our fleet, the current mileage, fault codes, and other things that we can now see. If we are working on updating registrations yearly, we can get the current mileage. If an accident happens, we can find the video footage to help validate who is at fault. Samsara seems to be open to feedback, but they are very much so do what they feel is best first. There's a few things that have occurred that the view point from Samsara makes sense, but because of the way they rolled it out it caused issues internally. Driver Safety & Coaching: The real-time alerts and in-cab coaching have helped improve driver behavior and reduce risky driving events. We’ve seen a measurable drop in harsh braking, speeding, and distracted driving.

Video Evidence: Having clear, high-quality video available within minutes of an incident has protected our drivers from false claims more than once. It’s also streamlined our accident investigations.

Ease of Use: The platform is user-friendly, and accessing footage or safety reports is fast and intuitive.

Integration with ELD/Telematics: Samsara’s all-in-one system has helped simplify our tech stack. We can track vehicles, monitor compliance, and review safety events in one dashboard.
