**What do you like best about RemotePeople?**

The onboarding process was very well organized. Uploading documents before hiring followed a clear, step-by-step flow, which made everything easy to understand and easy to follow. The documentation was also very easy to access (contract, payslip). The UI/UX is very friendly. I haven't used any AI or integrations.

**What do you dislike about RemotePeople?**

I ran into several issues during the contract process. It felt like a generic template was used with my name simply inserted, which then led to a long, slow back-and-forth to get the details corrected. I also had concerns about internal responsiveness: updates and changes often seemed to be pushed to the following month instead of being handled promptly, really slow performance from their team. 

I also had trouble requesting a leave of absence because the system wouldn’t approve it. When I reported the problem, I was redirected to a different department, and the support experience there left a lot to be desired. 

While I was in onboarding, I was asked to resend documents via email that I had already uploaded to the platform, which felt redundant and unnecessary.

**What problems is RemotePeople solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Honestly, it feels more like a pay-to-use service than a true problem-solver. The main value I see is that they make my contract legally compliant in my jurisdiction, which allows me to work with a foreign employer. Beyond that, I don't feel they're solving much else.

**What do you like best about RemotePeople?**

What I like the most is the Remote People platform. Having the opportunity to have everything in one place, which I can easily access, is very important to me. I greatly value that I can have everything in one place and that it is also easy to access and understand. Additionally, it helps me have an exact control of my payroll payments and the benefits I have. I like it because I can see everything the company I work for does and pays for me. The transition process was very easy, clear, and straightforward, and I greatly value the clarity of everything. I would really highly recommend Remote People, as it is an easy-to-manage tool for both the employer and the employee and has direct and clear support for any needs that may arise.

**What do you dislike about RemotePeople?**

So far there is nothing negative, everything has worked perfectly.

**What problems is RemotePeople solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote People helps me control payroll payments, understand what my company pays, and have exact knowledge of my benefits. I love the platform because everything is in one easily accessible place, which simplifies my work.

Horizons' onboarding process was smooth and fast, their support team walked us through every step of setting up compliant contracts in new countries. Whenever questions came up, responses were quick and actually useful, not generic. That level of hands-on support made expanding our team internationally far less stressful than I expected."

**What do you dislike about RemotePeople?**

Nothing major to complain about, if I had to nitpick, I'd say the amount of documentation and options can feel a bit overwhelming when you're just getting started, though the support team helps you cut through it quickly

**What problems is RemotePeople solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Horizons solves the problem of my employer not having a legal entity in Colombia. Through their Employer of Record service, I'm hired under a compliant Colombian contract with full legal benefits

**What do you like best about RemotePeople?**

What I like most about Remote People is that it's fast and they've done everything paperless, which means I don't have to handle a lot of paperwork or sign documents. It makes it easier for me not to have so many papers at home, as I can have everything in a cloud or on a server that I can easily access. This is quite good.

**What do you dislike about RemotePeople?**

The fact that everything is handled by email at Remote People can be complicated. We need to have some presence or know someone we can communicate with physically. I'm concerned about the possibility of receiving unreliable emails, as I don't know anyone from the team. It would be good to have someone to contact quickly, even if it's via chat. Additionally, the information about the transition from Horizon to Remote People was not clear, which caused me concern when uploading personal information.

**What problems is RemotePeople solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote People is fast and everything is paperless, which I like because I don't need to handle signed paperwork. Having access to everything in the cloud is quite good.

**What do you like best about RemotePeople?**

What impressed us most was how effortless Remote People made hiring across different countries. The entire EOR process was very fast, felt well-organized, compliant, and much quicker than trying to establish entities on our own, which removed a lot of friction for our team.

A big reason this worked so well was Bala, our account manager. He was always available, detail-oriented, and ahead of things, whether it was clarifying compliance questions or setting expectations around timelines. His involvement made the whole experience feel controlled and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about RemotePeople?**

There isn't much to flag as a concern, but more of a thing to note, that you can choose (and change, which is quite nifty) the currency to be charged in, which will come at a fixed exchange rate. 
Thanks to Bala walking us through this early on, everything was clearly understood, so there were no unexpected surprises later.
An area of improvement is the things I can do from the mobile app, but my workaround is to switch to the desktop version on my phone

**What problems is RemotePeople solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They've taken away the operational and legal complexity of hiring internationally. Instead of spending time figuring out compliance, taking on the risk hiring as a contractor and entity setup, we were able to onboard talent quickly and confidently.
This has made a noticeable impact on how fast we can enter new markets and build our team. The whole process is also a very smooth and professional experience for the hire, without having a whole HR team and process set up

I like how Remote People centralizes global hiring into one structured workflow, making the combination of onboarding, payroll, and management very efficient. It streamlines onboarding, payroll, and compliance in a centralized way, which allows faster deployment of talents without heavy internal administrative work. It removes the need to handle country-specific employment laws and setup on our own, simplifying contracts and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The initial setup was straightforward and smooth. I would give Remote People a 10/10 because it's just amazing and good.

The main improvement would be more advanced reporting and analytics for enterprise oversight. Deeper visibility into hiring trends, costs, and regional distribution would be useful. More customizable dashboards for leadership decision making would also add value. We'd benefit from more granular breakdowns of headcount, costs, and hiring velocity by region. It would also help to have customizable reports for executive and board level presentations. Real-time dashboards with exportable insights would make strategic planning easier.

We can focus on evaluating and onboarding talent while the platform handles compliance in the background. The initial setup was quite simple compared to what I expected, and the setup guide even made it more fun and simple.

The main gap is deeper visibility into workforce data for leadership decisions, more advanced reporting and filtering by region or role would be helpful. It could also benefit from more intuitive dashboards for quick executive level insight.

Remote People works for hiring and paying in specific situations where better solutions aren't available, like hiring Canadian employees in some locations for a U.S. company. These specific functionalities are useful when there's no better alternative.

**What do you dislike about RemotePeople?**

Some features aren't helpful such as time tracking which is cumbersome and doesn't integrate well with our team. The payment methods are manual or costly with high fees when using a credit card. There is limited automation for leave approvals, and unnecessary features are exposed to employees, needing extra support for basic processing. The onboarding process had some hiccups, and over time more limitations were discovered. We don't feel confident relying on it or integrating it with other services.

I love the ease of use of the Remote People virtual tool. Its minimalist design is one of its great charms, as it is basic, user-friendly, and only asks for what is necessary to streamline my process. I also enjoy the support and refund requests, which work very well.

I like that it is very easy to use, it is user-friendly, and you can have everything at hand, payroll receipts, vacations, etc.

At first, I couldn't view my payroll receipts, but HR submitted a ticket and it was resolved.

A big part of this positive experience was the support we received from Bala. He was extremely responsive, patient, and proactive in walking us through every step, from compliance questions to payroll timelines. Whenever we had doubts, Bala made sure we had clear answers and realistic expectations, which made the entire process stress-free.

There is very little to dislike overall. As with most global EOR providers, FX rates can sometimes differ slightly from publicly visible mid-market rates, but Horizons has been transparent about how these rates are applied and what they cover in terms of banking, compliance, and operational risk. I like that I can submit my questions through their portal or reach out to them directly by email. The majority of the time, I receive an answer within the same day. If it is a more complex question, they reach out to me, letting me know they are looking into it and will get back to me as soon as possible. They are always quick to respond and so friendly. I use their portal at least once a month, if not more often. They also have great resources to find many of the answers you need without having to reach out to a representative.

I am really into the expenses recording/documenting section of/in the Horizons app, which has helped me to better plan out how my expenses is reimbursed by the company whenever I carry out any financial dealings or transaction geared towards the projection of the institution. 

I also enjoy the commendable level of support within Horizons, where I can connect with my Horizons account manager whenever there is an issue that I do not have a full grasp about. More times than often, I have been able to resolve some confusions regarding the utilisation of the "Time Tracking" feature of the app. It has also helped me to better manage my time while I work. The above has made it very easy for me to reach out whenever there is a need for it.   

I'm drawn to the innovative and creative approach of Horizons in keeping tabs with tracking my pay slip for every month. It has also helped me in cultivating a better financial management system where I am now, more than ever before, able to designate certain sums for institution projects, and the like.

**What do you dislike about RemotePeople?**

I wish that the Horizons app can integrate an in-app communication module where the feature can be easily used to contact my account manager without having to send an official email to her. This feature would greatly improve efficiency in communication especially if it is in-app as it would make it easy to also implement action points as soon as they are raised for resolution. 

It would also be very effective if the Horizons platform is available on mobile, as I have tried to the access the platform via mobile but it redirects to the webpage for access.
