What I like most about IBM Storage Ceph is its scalability and reliability. It lets organizations store large volumes of data across distributed systems while maintaining high availability and strong self-healing capabilities. I also value its software-defined architecture, which makes it easy to deploy flexibly on commodity hardware and to support object, block, and file storage within a single platform. One limitation of IBM Storage Ceph is that it can be complex to deploy and manage, particularly for teams that don’t have prior experience with distributed storage systems. It also tends to require substantial infrastructure planning and enough resources to run efficiently at scale, which can add to the overall operational effort.
