The self-scheduling and rescheduling function frees up a lot of time for our team while giving our candidates the initiative of deciding their own time. The calendar automatically updates with the slightest change means we don’t have to hold on to our rescheduling email! What we enjoyed most is that Rakuna allows us to fully commit to a structured hiring process and develop a standardized way of scheduling each and every round of interviews. I love how easy it is. With past tools, prospects would have to create an account on one device and you would need to be on a network to transmit profiles to another device for a recruiter to evaluate. One down side is that you can not download the PDF resume that the prospect uploads after an event. Instead, you can only download the photos of the resumes that you took at the event. To download the PDF resumes, you have to do it one at a time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rakuna is very effective at capturing resumes, parsing data and making that available for review making it the go-to tool for campus career fairs. Additionally, the team at Rakuna works very closely with you to get your event setup customized to your need, allowing you to track candidates at a wide variety of events including career fairs, information sessions, networking events and conferences. It sped up hour ability to meet, identify and interview candidates.

Separately, Rakuna is solid for event management and highly accessible. Business reps can easily log in on their devices. Training consisted of an initial campus kick off followed by a 5-10 minute walk-through of the actual platform. After that, they were up and running. Initially we had some challenges in the backend and sorting through applicants, but the team at Rakuna worked very closely to understand the issues and improved their product tremendously. While this was an initial challenge, it became clear that the team at Rakuna was willing to listen and receive feedback. This will be our third consistent year using the Rakuna platform on campus and our overall experience has been positive.

Unlike several other platforms we've recently tested, Rakuna's snapshot feature, which not only captures resume information but also automatically parses student's information without requiring them to waste time creating user logins and uploading information themselves. The customizable evaluation form makes it possible for our reps to make valuable notes and recommendations while chatting with candidates/reviewing their resume in real-time.

The candidate sorting feature on the backend still needs some work, specifically when dealing with hundreds of applications at once & requires a good amount of attention from our coordinator& campus recruiter to ensure the right candidates are being uploaded to the right roles in Greenhouse as well as ensuring duplicates are not accidentally made.

On a positive note, we have communicated these pain points to the Rakuna team and as always, they have been incredibly receptive. We hope to see the product enhancements ready in time for the upcoming recruiting season. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
