The calendar automatically updates with the slightest change means we don’t have to hold on to our rescheduling email! What we enjoyed most is that Rakuna allows us to fully commit to a structured hiring process and develop a standardized way of scheduling each and every round of interviews. **What do you dislike about Rakuna?** There are still some bugs that pop up occasionally, but the customer support team has been easy to work with. **What problems is Rakuna solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem we managed to solve with Rakuna's Interview Scheduling function is arranging dozens of interviews every time we announce an open position. You don’t think you need an interview scheduling function until you are overwhelmed. We no longer have to send back-and-forth emails to schedule nor having to update the calendar ourselves. Now, it’s all automatic with the help of Rakuna. ### 2. The snapshot technology can be incredibly precise; we rarely have to take a second or third picture for Rakuna Recruit to register the information. **What do you dislike about Rakuna?** The app sometimes displays delays when processing a large amount of CVs. However, it has not really been a problem. Besides, the Rakuna customer support team has been very eager to lend us support when needed. **What problems is Rakuna solving and how is that benefiting you?** Rakuna helped us effortlessly process a large amount of CVs at career fairs. ### 3. With past tools, prospects would have to create an account on one device and you would need to be on a network to transmit profiles to another device for a recruiter to evaluate. With Rakuna, there is one device, no need to register, really simple for both the prospect and the recruiter! **What do you dislike about Rakuna?** One down side is that you can not download the PDF resume that the prospect uploads after an event. Instead, you can only download the photos of the resumes that you took at the event. To download the PDF resumes, you have to do it one at a time. **Recommendations to others considering Rakuna:** We have been very happy with Rakuna and are looking into integrating it with our ATS. **What problems is Rakuna solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our speed to connect back with the prospect and our ability to quickly share prospects with hiring teams has been cut dramatically. ### 4. Additionally, the team at Rakuna works very closely with you to get your event setup customized to your need, allowing you to track candidates at a wide variety of events including career fairs, information sessions, networking events and conferences. It sped up hour ability to meet, identify and interview candidates. Separately, Rakuna is solid for event management and highly accessible. Business reps can easily log in on their devices. Training consisted of an initial campus kick off followed by a 5-10 minute walk-through of the actual platform. After that, they were up and running. There was great ease-of-access/accessibility and implementation was seamless. **What do you dislike about Rakuna?** Initially we had some challenges in the backend and sorting through applicants, but the team at Rakuna worked very closely to understand the issues and improved their product tremendously. While this was an initial challenge, it became clear that the team at Rakuna was willing to listen and receive feedback. They are available as issues arise real-time, but have also proven to be valuable long term partner. **Recommendations to others considering Rakuna:** Understand your workflow and work with the team at Rakuna to implement the best approach / create the right form for your recruiting/event needs. **What problems is Rakuna solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were mainly focused on evaluating candidates on campus. Through the the platform we were able to evaluate a high volume of candidates rapidly, determine next steps quickly and get them into our pipeline. We reduced a 1-2 week process to a few short hours. This allowed us to remain competitive, accelerate our process and meet more candidates. ### 5. Unlike several other platforms we've recently tested, Rakuna's snapshot feature, which not only captures resume information but also automatically parses student's information without requiring them to waste time creating user logins and uploading information themselves. The customizable evaluation form makes it possible for our reps to make valuable notes and recommendations while chatting with candidates/reviewing their resume in real-time. Where we have felt improvements could be made, the Rakuna team has taken the time to receive our feedback and make positive changes to the platform and overall user experience. **What do you dislike about Rakuna?** The candidate sorting feature on the backend still needs some work, specifically when dealing with hundreds of applications at once & requires a good amount of attention from our coordinator& campus recruiter to ensure the right candidates are being uploaded to the right roles in Greenhouse as well as ensuring duplicates are not accidentally made. On a positive note, we have communicated these pain points to the Rakuna team and as always, they have been incredibly receptive. We hope to see the product enhancements ready in time for the upcoming recruiting season. **What problems is Rakuna solving and how is that benefiting you?** We wanted to find a tool that could help streamline our campus recruitment process, take away the manual paperwork and data entry process, create a vibrant workable database and be able to access data easily post-event. After testing out several other vendors, we continuously find ourselves going back to Rakuna for reliability and ease of use.
