It's intuitive, easy to understand, and helps me stay on top of my business income, expenses, and estimated taxes. I really appreciate the fact that it estimates my quarterly tax payments. Saves me a lot of time every quarter. It's very simple to categorize my expenses. And I love the invoicing feature. I can also upload all my information straight to my tax software, which is a huge plus come tax season. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Pro?** A couple downsides: the estimated tax payments tend to skew too big every quarter. I appreciate the fact that they are not too small, but I wish they were more accurate. Also wish that the software could give me an estimation for state taxes — I have to do this manually myself. I also recently ran into an issue where I was locked out of my QB account for no reason and had to pay for a subscription to get back in. QuickBooks is such a wonderful software for keeping tax information up to date and very dependable The quarterly and annual tax filing is so simplified and accurate. Payroll every two weeks is easy and QuickBooks stays on top of the updates from the government **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Pro?** There isn't much I don't like about this software. There was a time when I hated it because if I had a question I was on hold forever to reach help. I could reach them via chat and sometime they could help me; but they could not remote like when you have a live phone conversation but the wait to reach them was horrible. However, they now have it set up where you request them to call you. That way you can work on other things until they called you. One thing that is aggravating some time is how long staff would take to "figure out the problem" as it seemed they were going through books to find an answer; however, they seem better trained now and especially when they access remote with your computer seem to be very knowledgeable. I guess my like and dislike seem to meld into I am very happy with this software. **What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Right now I am not having any problems. In the past I needed assistance when I googled and could not figure out how to fix a problem. For instance, just yesterday a check "bounced" and I needed to enter the bank fee plus deduct the deposited amount from my bank account. I googled and followed QB's instructions and all was solved. Other times it has been having them help me remotely, like when I accidentally messed up payroll. Too much to give in detail but they knew exactly how to "delete" the payroll without harming my tax payments and then redo the payroll. Solved. I would have not had the confidence on my own to do that because I was worried how it would affect the taxes, but they knew it would not. Real relief! ### 13. Well when you have to send past due emails you want to be able to address the email to the person and the template for the past due emails has this particular field, but there has been an error for several years that all it says is "Hello ," does not put the person's name so when they reply back with an answer on the payment we have no idea who it belongs to. I have submitted several bugs, but nothing gets done and they just close the ticket out.
