The problem is that they are phasing out the desktop version, so you are not likely to get much support when issues arise. They are trying to shift everyone to new software, which is more expensive and does way more than most businesses need. Overall, the product as it is right now is great. I really appreciate QuickBooks Desktop Pro for handling bookkeeping and accounting efficiently. It provides easy and correct accounting, profit/loss statements, balance sheets, banking, and various other reports. One of the best features for me is the direct bank entries into the system, which saves a significant amount of time. With over 1000 bank entries each month, manually doing them would take 8-10 hours, whereas, with QuickBooks Desktop Pro, it brings it down to under 1 hour.
