## Qiqqa Reviews
  ### 1. Don't send them your money! BEWARE

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Qiqqa?**

It is useful software.... but beware that if ANYTHING goes wrong you are on your own.

**What do you dislike about Qiqqa?**

I just paid $120 for renewal of my premium account. Somehow I was given a brand new (empty) account. They appear to have LOST my libraries of over 3000 annotated, and tagged PDFs. Ok, things can get messed up, and although a hassle, no problem if you can contact them to fix it. I cannot find a contact phone number anywhere, and there has been no response to my emails.

**What problems is Qiqqa solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am coming to believe that qiqqa is now a ghost company. Someone is merrily charging credit cards without doing the work.

This was good software... no longer.

  ### 2. Great annotations, bad web interface

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marli W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Qiqqa?**

It is quite good at extracting metadata from PDFs and generating the appropriate Bibtex citations. tool for organizing and annotating PDFs, and you can also share folders with colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Qiqqa?**

It's not very shareable over the web. The web interface is not particularly functional and it's hard to figure out what exactly it is for. If people are working from multiple terminals it's hard to annotate or comment on files jointly because they are hosted locally on one machine.

**Recommendations to others considering Qiqqa:**

Fine to use if you use only one machine and work alone. Otherwise a cloud backend is crucial.

**What problems is Qiqqa solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to find software that will easily allow us to see what sources we have used and export comments easily.
