## About PyMapStitcher
PyMapStitcher is a desktop application for creating large stitched map and satellite image outputs from user-selected map areas. The app is designed for users who need high-resolution map imagery, large satellite views, or offline image exports for research, documentation, GIS-related workflows, archaeology, remote sensing, mapping, and visual analysis. With PyMapStitcher, you can select map areas, download image tiles, stitch them into a single output, preview the result, and save the generated image locally on your device. The workflow is focused on practical desktop use: choose an area, process it locally, and export the result.

**What do you like best about PyMapStitcher?**

The PyMapStitcher does stream directly into a georeferenzed BigTIFF, this is different to most other tools, because conventional map downloaders do load everything into RAM. Thus with the PyMapStitcher the size of my maps do depend on disk space instead of RAM size.

**What do you dislike about PyMapStitcher?**

There is no icon in the Windows frame. And thee writing there is more than the name.

**What problems is PyMapStitcher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It does not use alot of RAM. My maps can be as big as my disk space allowes. For example I have 32 GB ram then witrh the conventional Tools my map can have a size of only 32 GB. With the direct streaming into the file I can create maps with no limited size. I have a 140 GB map that I would have never created with the RAM loading.
