## About PriMus IFC
PriMus IFC is the bim quantity software that allows you to extract accurate metric data directly from the project's BIM model. With PriMus IFC open and view any BIM model in the IFC file format, the worldwide standard used by major BIM software solutions. Acquire quantities and measurements directly from the BIM Objects, associate each object with a rate item and instantly get a detailed cost estimate of the entire project. The cost estimate is continuously updated with each variation introduced in the BIM Model or the reference Price List.

**What do you like best about PriMus IFC?**

How easy it is to turn an IFC model into a complete, automatically updatable QTO. The floorplan-based navigation and the ability to create measurement rules directly from object variables is intuitive and incredibly fast.

**What do you dislike about PriMus IFC?**

The only minor effort is the initial setup of prices and measurement rules; after that, everything runs smoothly.

**What problems is PriMus IFC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PriMus IFC solves the time-consuming and error-prone process of creating quantities and cost estimates from BIM models. It allows me to extract a full QTO directly from an IFC, apply measurement rules easily, and link it to my pricing. The biggest benefit is automatic updates: if the design changes, I just re-import the IFC, and the entire QTO adjusts itself—no manual recalculations. This saves days of work, ensures accuracy, and lets me focus on analysis rather than tedious data entry.

**What do you like best about PriMus IFC?**

What I love the most about the software is its compatibility with software like Revit, ArchiCAD, Allplan, AutoCAD, and Edificius. Moreover, they make it easier to use with every update.

**What do you dislike about PriMus IFC?**

I am not a huge fan of their current pricing model. If they included a free trial and more accessible pricing models that would have been amazing. Other than that I do not have any qualms about the software.

**What problems is PriMus IFC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While using the software for estimation tasks, I have noticed that when the bill of quantities is updated the drawing does not always change accordingly. Apart from that nor I nor my team has faced any troubles while using the software.

**What do you like best about PriMus IFC?**

The best thing about this software is it makes my work easier than ever. Before this software quantity estimation was long and tedious task. Using this software it is as simple as a click. This software directly calculates quantity and cost of all the building materials. It is very accurate and cost keeps updating time to time. Also it supports a wide variety of material. The user interface is simple and easy to use. 

**What do you dislike about PriMus IFC?**

I dont have anything to dislike about this software the only thing I dont like is it isnt as famous as it should be.

**What problems is PriMus IFC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using this software to estimate quantity and cost of the building. It saves a lot of time by automatically calculating everything. I could allot that time to my other projects.
