It is a powerful no-code cloud-based automated testing tool that has been used to successfully catch many errors in our products before deployment to Production. Mustafa and his team provide excellent support and are very open to suggested enhancements to the product. Love the use of the user-defined variables, the ability to edit in/move or remove steps visually, work flowing tests together and then combining into a Test Suite. Completely spoilt due to unreliability. **What do you dislike about Preflight?** As an advanced user, School Bytes continually looks for product improvements, especially around its performance and reliability. The best results are achieved in a controlled data environment. Plus, it allows dynamic data inputs which are reusable and can also be validated. So these really help especially for a non-coder like me, letting me save time! Overall, awesome features and easy to use so I would definitely recommend this! **What do you dislike about Preflight?** I don't dislike anything particularly but I think there can be improvements. Like the email testing feature, I like this but I believe it can do better in terms of smooth capability on grabbing data from the email. Also, the ability to set specific date and time for scheduled test runs would be nice. But overall, there is more to like about Preflight! **What problems is Preflight solving and how is that benefiting you?** Whenever there is a new deployment, this requires testing not just on the new/revamped feature/function but also on the existing features/functions that may be impacted by the deployment. In this case, testing can take a lot of time if done manually. With the use of Preflight, this helps to ensure that all features/functions are still working as expected every after deployment or whenever it is necessary, and because it is automated, this saves plenty of time for testers like me and eliminates the chance of human errors in testing. ### 3. It was always a lot of work and could only get done by developers. With Preflight, this work can be done by anybody and no developer is needed anymore. **What do you dislike about Preflight?** Right now there is nothing that we dislike. It works pretty well right now for our use case. **What problems is Preflight solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves the issue, that we don't need developer resources anymore to set up a stable test environment. Everybody in the team is able to set up tests now, easy to use with the browser plugin. ### 4. It requires less knowledge of coding. **What do you dislike about Preflight?** The selectors generated by Preflight are not precise enough, especially when HTML tags have dynamic selectors. **What problems is Preflight solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes work easier and fast, I would say. The POM feature helps prevent redundancy and allows the team organizes our code. Preflight is productive. ### 6. There's an excellent selection of browsers and OSes to test against as well meaning you can be confident your app works across all platforms. **What do you dislike about Preflight?** There is not much I would change about Preflight, it has worked very well for us. At some point in the future it would be nice to be able to run tests on mobile devices. **What problems is Preflight solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using Preflight to run tests across our online software platform. We're a small team so it's hugely valuable that anyone on the team can set up and monitor tests - even if they are not techincal. ### 9. And with the CircleCI Preflight Orb setting up CI/CD test run groups was very straightforward. Also, the preflight support team/creators have been fantastic and are working with us to develop custom solutions when needed. **What do you dislike about Preflight?** Nothing. We had an issue with some of our tests false-failing because of a misselected span within a span within a span (you get the idea), but we mentioned it to Mustafa at Preflight and within the hour he had helped us implement a solution. Any time there's been an issue or question Mustafa has been right there with an answer. We're excited to see and support Preflight as they grow. **What problems is Preflight solving and how is that benefiting you?** General UI CI/CD pipeline tests, including preflight UI tests and dev-written unit tests. Whenever something serious goes wrong in the UI the preflight checks in our circle/ci pipeline help us pinpoint these bugs and resolve them quickly. ### 10.
