## Practice Fusion Reviews
  ### 1. User-Friendly for Providers With Smooth Tebra Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine O. | Biller, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

My providers find it very user-friendly, and they appreciate that it integrates with Tebra.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

As a biller, I don’t think it’s the best option for sending out insurance billing, but it can work better when billing patients directly.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, my providers find it easier to use for entering their notes and managing their schedules. It’s also quicker for them to work with day to day. They definitely feel they get their monies' worth with an easy to use program

  ### 2. Patient care CRM

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cid M. | Sales Manager, Outsourcing/Offshoring, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

Searching a patient's chart is easy with several alternatives for searching. The tools panel, located in one place, makes navigating easy. It's great, does not require heavy use us data to use, making it fast with minimal lag.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Navigating the calendar can be challenging, as well as updating the calendar and rescheduling is not as simple as it should be, and the ads and constant notifications are not great.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all patients' charts in digital format, including necessary documentation and billing all in one place.

  ### 3. All what you need for your medical practice

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gustavo P. | Provider Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

One of the things that I prefer from Practice Fusion is to have everything organized and very clear in everything. Is very easy to use and to understand.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

From time to time the software goes down, and in the middle of the rush when this infrequently issue happens it can create struggles for a short period. Hopefully, customer support is always looking to improve on this matter.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When you have several locations and so many specialists is way easier to jump from one location and/or specialists you would like to work on, checking the calendar is so easier to track the schedule. That makes the practice easy to handle and manage.

  ### 4. Trouble canceling Practice fusion

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julius W. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

Electronic prescribing is the most useful thing about Practice fusion

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Can't cancel the service. I've been using Practice fusion since 2016 and then they started charging $99 a month that I went to $149 a month then I was pressured into a subscription plan minimum one year because it would've been impossible to wrap up all the Practice notes and insurance claims within a few weeks.
I have recently closed my practice completely for health reasons and could not cancel the service. I have to put in a special request for early subscription cancellation subscription that I did not want and was pressured into

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solves the problem of electronic prescribing and medical records storage

  ### 5. Very reliable, detailed and easy to use. Transcribing is easy and making superbill.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lourence Joy G. | Appointment Scheduler, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

It's the new version of it. It's very easy use when making notes nothing to worry about the prescription. It's all listed on the left side. No hassle.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Actually there's nothing to mention about. All good. Maybe, at least make another pinned note available for new pinned note and make sure to resize it to a little more to have space.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's happening on the pld version of it when it comes to making a notes and specially when it's regarding calling in refills. I found it hard to go back to summary home page to do copy and paste. But after having new version, it's very time saving. We can just see the med list on the left without leaving the notes.

  ### 6. Easy and intuitive software, especially for a private practice

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

The interface was easy to use. We were able to make appointments. Have the schedule and visit reason as well as reference demographic info for the patient. We were also able bill office visits.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

I know for some of the older workers it took some getting used to, it had many features some of my coworkers weren't able to fully utilize. So I felt like it wasn't used to it's full potential.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We originally had to use multiple systems and it was nice to have this streamlined into one system, especially after it was implemented in Dr. offices with multiple office sites.

  ### 7. Easy to use, low cost, cloud-based EHR

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff W. | Financial Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

Practice Fusion is low cost (~$120/month). It is very intuitive and easy to use. I was able to easily make personalized templates that made documenting office visits or televisits quick and thorough. Just like with any EHR, there is a learning curve at first, but the learning curve with Practice Fusions was faster than any other EHR I have used. I have been completely satisfied with the product since I started using it 5 years ago.

I strongly recommend adding Updox to the EHR. It allows for online consent forms to be reviewed and signed by patients and saved to the charts, as well as faxing and a streamlined televisit format.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

The interoffice communication functionality needs to be improved. It's somewhat difficult to send my nurses messages.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Portable, fast ability to schedule office visits and document encounters. The price is reasonable.

  ### 8. RECOMMNEDING PRACTICE FUSION

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

PF IS EASY TO WORK INSIDE THE EHR, NOW IS FASTER AND VERY WELL INTEGRATED TO OTHER PLATFORMS TO IMPORT MEDICAL RECORDS TO PATIENTS CHARTS

I DO NOT LIKE THAT PRACTICE FUSION DOES NOT HAVE FULL INTEGRATION WITH ALL OTHER PORTALS

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

I RECOMMEND THE USE OF PRACTICE FUSION MAINLY FOR SMALL PRACTICES.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I CAN REDUCE THE USE OF PAPERWORK, PTS CAN HACE ACCESS TO THERI MAIN MEDICAL RECORDS, THERE ARE WAYS TO COMMUNICATE ELECTRONICALLY WITH PTS AND OTHER PROVIDERS

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2022

That templates can be created according to our needs

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Adding prescriptions is slow since you must add one and then go in again.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mips calculator at the end of the year, scheduling and keeping appointments nice and clear

  ### 10. 7 years experience in Health Care IT

It is the perfect application to help medical users to perform their day-to-day operations very smoothly

  ### 11. Practice Fusion in Single Provider Practice

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

I like how user-friendly the system is! It is very easy to learn and hard to mess anything up while working in it.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

I have had issues with "glitches" in the system where things that have been entered/written disappear sometimes, or things don't save appropriately.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It benefits us by providing an EHR system that is affordable and easy to use.

  ### 12. Practice Fusion is so easy to navigate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

I love the ease of entering in a new patient and the scheduling technique. (:

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

I dislike the messages feature, I mean I like that it allows us to document each time we enter the chart, BUT I don't like that we can't edit them.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I would say the scheduling aspect.

  ### 13. Practice Fusion - Efficient and Comprehensive EMR/EHR

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

The patient portal is the best feature, especially compared to other EHRs such as Charm. It is user-friendly and very customizable, which works incredibly well if you have a large team with which you're working.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Some of the features to navigate through are not intuitive, such as uploading files only in specific formats, but with time you can quickly get used to it.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

I would highly recommend using Practice Fusion, especially if you have a large practice. It's user-friendly for both the patient as well as health care providers/admin.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pratice Fusion is a great EHR for storing and accessing medical records. The benefits include that it is highly customizable, has a great messaging and patient portal communication network, and can be shared by many users for the same patients.

  ### 14. EMR I consistently recommend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

I have been using PF for over 5 years, and despite occasional consideration of other platforms, it always wins out! Practicenfusion provides a simple user experience with options for customization to provide a streamlined administrative process.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

I dislike not having a dedicated rep or person to speak with regarding minor issues that arise.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have more connectivity options with patients including telehealth through the UPDOX integration and ease of charting to minimize administrative burden.

  ### 15. Free, intuitive medical software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sylvia C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

It's free and very intuitive, and indepth of what needs to be covered for a basic family practice clinic.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Drug advertisements, but hey, it's free!

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

Free software for emerging free clinics as the health care priorities of our country change.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Free software. No problems.

  ### 16. Easy To Use Cloud Based EHR

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosa A. | Front Office Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

Practice Fusion's ease of use is unparalleled. There are so many things in PF that just WORK. The interface is seamlessly designed, with very little that needs to be done in the way of training. other EHR services are clunky and hard to use, or require huge network infrastructure for support. Practice Fusion requires none of that. My office runs on Chromebooks, and that would only be possible with PF.
The medical community needs products that are easy to use, secure, and scalable. PF is all of that.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Practice Fusion doesn't support the use of electronic signatures from inside the EHR, so it's not fully optimized for the digital age. Some things are needlessly missing- the ability to change providers after a patient has already been checked in, for one. The support teams have been less responsive than I would like, but there is a phone number as well as the online system.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

Practice Fusion is great for lightweight, comprehensive patient care. No EHR system is perfect, but PF comes pretty close.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Practice Fusions has options for online scheduling and a built-in patient portal, plus it integrates easily with billing software such as AdvancedMD, productivity software like UpDox, and overall, it has made opening an independent clinic easy.

  ### 17. People Friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

Easy to use. You can pull charts from the dates that you are looking for.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Nothing to dislike about it. I use a lot of different softwares with my job. Fusion does the job the right way in a good amount of time.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

Smart Choice

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is so user friendly. You don’t have to go in and save each document one by one.

  ### 18. Good enough when it was free... not so good now that there is a cost involved

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew S. | Pediatrician, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

Integrates well with other billing programs. Nice print out for my immunizations. Charts are easily transferred to another provider including growth charts as one pdf. Notes were easily cusotmizeable.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Scheduler was a bit cumbersome. Support could be better. There are better options now that there is a montly fee. Security log in is a bit overkill having to get a call back with an authorization number from a new workstation. Integration with some of the billing vendors was difficulty to the point that data entry had to be done twice - information wouldn't cross over from practice fusion.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

Look for cost effectiveness of the program. Ascertain the medical notes are reflective of your offices.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Availability of records as long as I have internet access. Easily transfer records to another provider.
Quick and easy to provide immunization records for patients.

  ### 19. Really effective for private practice

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

Practice fusion is well organized and an easy system a small or large practice office can learn to use. It has the ability to hold files separately by patient and organizes their files beautifully.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

I do not like the difficulty in organizing lists under certain filters. I wish their was a way to organize analytics and excel files without going one by one.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

It is a well organized program

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have solved scheduling issues, file uploading per patient, and efficiency in my current workplace

  ### 20. Best medical billing process and medical record charting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shalleen K. | Medical Practitioner, Hospital & Health Care, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

The fact that this platform gives me already made form templates and able to create my own if i need to, the ability to add labs, imaging centres and pharmacy which were no longer there is also interesting.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Have been really having several minute charting issues when using this platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

Great product i love copy section for confirmation for checking of in and outpatients i can testify there is no regret.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

General electronic health records, billing, imaging, for insuarance verification and patient data processing as well as scheduling and adding insuarance information.

  ### 21. Mostly Easy to Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alyse K. | Patient care liaison, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

I like how the program is structured, however,

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

the tabs at the top of the program are confusing and hard to use. I also dislike how the chatting feels disorganized.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patient charting is easy to do! All patient documents are easily accessed

  ### 22. User friendly software for the therapist/counselor/psychistrist

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna F. | Clinician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

I like how easy it was to use, and that there are built in prompts that ask you what you need to put in as part of the review. It's very user friendy and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

The software is very useful and easy to see. There is nothing I particularly dislike.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Practice Fusion keeps all your clients information organized and in one place, and you can see all the notes you have written about each client easily.

  ### 23. Pain Management practice

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

Having templates is a great time-saver and helps ensure we collect the correct information from patients for insurance purposes. The program is quite user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

We have multiple offices (different LLCs) and it’d be nicer to have a one-click way if transferring patient info between clinics.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We document follow up calls as telephone encounters, and it’s easy to see a patient’s history.

  ### 24. Practice Fusion

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ulyana N. | Psychiatric PA, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2018

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

The e-scripting is intuitive and easy to add new pharmacies and medications all at once. There is no jumping from screen to screen. Notes are well organized and it is easy to jump from patient to patient and note to note. The autosaving is a good feature as well.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

When rx'ing controlled substance, I often have to put in a VIP access code at least twice because it is just stuck loading and doesn't actually send it through.I do not like that notes cannot be edited in mental health or at least allowed for a good place for add-on.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An online EMR accessible everywhere there is an internet connection. E-prescribing including controlled substances has been great.

  ### 25. Misleading, terrible customer service

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

The actual product, when it works, is simple and our prescribers have no real complaints.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Their customer service is THE WORST. It took 8 business days to respond to one of our more serious complaints. Hours on the phone on hold with no resolution. We added a new prescriber and it was over 2 months before any of the features worked for her despite being billed for her subscription. They would not let us out of our contract and, in fact, modified our other prescriber's contract to renew her for another year even though we did not ask to do that. I have never experienced such unprofessional customer service from an EMR before.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

Look for another product with better customer service.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None.

  ### 26. No Response from system services

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

Easy to get through. It walks you through as to how to get to certain things in a chart

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Hard to delete things and remove. It logs you out quickly when not in use.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

Make a way to delete a lab order easily

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease of getting through a medical record

  ### 27. Practice Fusion in Private Prac

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Individual & Family Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

I love the ability to create templates within each subheading for client notes. Organized and easy to read!

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

No clear space for a complete CCA already developed so that is something we are working on. Sometimes slow response when moving quickly between clients.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

Takes a little while to get the hang of!

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to maintain notes in an organized way. Easily completed throughout the day.

  ### 28. Good for EHR in smaller settings.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2017

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

With Fusion it is a good program for a smaller facility to have the ability for going paperless and having an EHR. I liked that we could access this from any computer, so we were able to use laptops in patient care rooms which decreased the need for the physicians to dictate every patient encounter. It worked well with our scribes and nurses being able to use Fusion at the time of patient care for documentation which is what we mostly used this program for. This program did work overall well for incorporating one program in our facility for EHR, billing, imaging, etc., and even had a patient portal feature. I did like that we did not have to have several separate programs to access and could go directly to one software to get the information we needed.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

When trying to access some features like labs and imaging, this program was not the best. It was slow to load images and the quality was not the best I have seen. We did get complaints from patient that could not access the patient portal.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

I would recommend having a rep come out, evaluate your practice or clinic, check capacity for number of patients and records, how many patient's billed per month and records that will need to be stored before purchasing a set plan and a service plan. You may not need as much storage/usage as a larger facility or in case your are a large facility, you may need more, but definitely get a firm estimate of what your facility capacity needs are.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This software helped us to streamline our whole medical billing process as well as medical record charting in order to go paperless. It did help with speeding up the time we spent on anything from billing, to insurance verification, to processing patient data and medical records because everything was centralized in one place and easier to access than with paper charts and outdated computer programs and systems.

  ### 29. Practice fusion

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

I like how
Easy it was to use in the beginning

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

I disliked they kept
Adding to the software making
It harder to use without direction and it would crash a lot and it would make it hard to be a hard for the doctors to see the patients when it was down

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Possibly changing her system
It was easy to get to some tabs but when u bring over the notes sometimes it would duplicate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

Practice fusion was simple to use and was not time consuming like other EHR software's. It was basic, but did the job. It had 4 sections for all necessary documentation (SOAP note).

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Sometimes the system would crash and we would be without documentation at the clinic. This happened once in a while, but lasted anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

Good EHR for a small clinic.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Proper and faater medical documentation.

  ### 32. Not an intuitive interface, but okay for the price

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

We use it at our free clinic, where we can't afford the licensing for EPIC. Up until recently, the best thing about it is that it is free. It's also easy to log into from any computer, with no crazy installation requirements. The interface is simpler and more easy to jump into than EPIC

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

While the interface is simple, this does not necessarily mean that it is better. Patient information is organized in such a way that it is very difficult to view multiple notes and key information from each visit in an easy, quick way. I find myself wasting precious moments in between patient encounters scouring each note for pertinent information that would have been much easier to find on other EHRs. This has been frustrating. Simplicity is nice, but this program just does not have the functionality and options that better ones do.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are tracking patient information for a student-run free medical clinic aimed towards the transgender population. Up until now, we have made do with Practice Fusion because they have offered their software for free. However we have just learned that we will have to soon start paying a monthly fee for each physician practicing at our clinic. As a free clinic, we do not have the funds to pay for this and may have to switch to a different EMR.

  ### 33. A simple way to manage your practice

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amber M. | Adjunct Researcher, Higher Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2018

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

My favorite part of Practice Fusion is that I can create my own forms or use any templates already created by the Practice Fusion team or community members. While my practice is small, it allows me to continue to grow the practice, and add new forms as I incorporate new techniques.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

One thing I dislike is that the dashboard tells me constantly that I need to add labs, imaging centers, and pharmacies. In the initial setup I stated that I don't utilize those services. While I could possibly integrate them in the future, I would prefer that part of the system to be in a tab that doesn't pop up at startup.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

If you are considering Practice Fusion, I highly recommend it. When you first install, go through all of the setup and it will make your life much easier. Some parts are difficult to navigate, but if you go to the forums and look through the FAQ's you are able to use the program much more efficiently. You can even make your own types of appointments, charts, and letters.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving many problems using Practice Fusion - namely the requirement for electronic medical recordkeeping. In two of my professions, that isn't absolutely necessary, but as a chiropractor, even without accepting insurance, I must still comply. Practice Fusion ensures that I comply with that rule, as well as all of the other regulations set forth by the government regarding Medicare and other insurance agencies.

  ### 34. Excellent EMR system at cheep price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2018

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

What I like best about Practice Fusion is easy to use it integrates with our practice management system easily and the system is MISP certified, and Meaningful use certified.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

What I dislike is that Practice Fusion started to charge this year for their services. it is hard to meet MIPS requirements for Health Information Exchange, due to their limited number of physicians reporting electronically.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

The system takes work to learn but when you learn you can save money by using Practice Fusion

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the integration with Kareo makes life easier, I love that they submit your data to MIPS

  ### 35. Best practice EHR

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

I like that I create custom templates, reports, and schedules for my staff.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

I would like to see a claims billing component added in

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlined business management

  ### 36. Practice fusion is user friendly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

This is a very easy to use system. It’s easy to navigate between patients and the format makes it easy to look at all pertinent information at one time

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Practice fusion does not connect well into other EMR systems. It also is slow at times.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

It’s a great system that is easy to learn

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a cost efficient way to have a good EMR system. It’s easy to train others to use the system which makes hiring new providers also easier

  ### 37. Free Certified EHR that is Customizable

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr. Dean G. | President, Alternative Medicine, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2017

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

It's free. You have a few ads off to the side, but do not interfere with work or charting.

It's customizable for SOAP/Chart notes. Create templates and statements to fill in. VERY front end loaded and time demanding if you want different way to say the same thing so they are not "cookie cuttered". But you can always just type away at you own speed too.

It's Certified EHR (compliant for Medicare/Medicaid etc.) They have software that keeps up with tracking your reporting for Medicare and Medicaid on their Dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

No text message reminders for appointments.

Email reminders to gmail emails are helpful, but dont always sync with Google calendar.

There are minor charting issues: Diagnosis ordering, and a few printing of chart notes (Ascending vs descending based on date of service)

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

The software needs TEXT MESSAGE REMINDERS to patients. Only 1700+ others since March 2015 want it too.....

https://knowledgebase.practicefusion.com/forums/276361-product-ideas/suggestions/7160525-patient-appointment-reminders-via-automated-call-o#{toggle_previous_statuses}

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patient chart notes and documentation.

  ### 38. Okay for a free EHR, but a joke that they will start charging 6/1/18

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christa M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

It is basic and user friendly in most aspects.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Several updates have been made over the past 2 years, and each one has made it less practical, or has disabled a much needed feature, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

Since they will be charging in the near future, do yourself a favor and go with a more advanced software.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to do bare minimum to run our practice, that is about it.

  ### 39. Remarkably easy to use software with some limits.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kimberly M. | Assistant Director (VP), Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2017

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

Ease of use, easy set up and it is free.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Reporting tools are limited, cannot integrate.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

If you want to integrate with other software using API, it is not an option. Reporting tools are limited. No ability to print lists of patients filtered by insurance provider. Both of these items were not a deal breaker for us, we have learned to manage.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Practice Fusion provides easy access to patient records and has streamlined the work our staff has to do resulting in less wasted time and money. Our outreach clinics have benefited tremendously, we no longer have to carry paper charts with us to remote areas to see patients. We can now access all of our patient data online. The integration with our labs also saves time and allows us to respond to our patients quicker. Practice Fusion has made a difference in how efficiently our clinics operate.

  ### 40. Great EHR product.

Cloud based hence secure to Store patient medical data. Customizable to meet user demands .No login problems. Ease of usage to both old and new users.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

No any problem so far but the customer support team response need to be upgraded.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Has made easy for me to keep clinical patient data.

  ### 41. It just isn't good.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt W. | Doc, Pharmaceuticals, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

Basically it is a blank page. Templets are a bit cumbersome. there is no customer support. The billing system requires one to manual resubmit to secondary insurances. All insurance info has to entered by hand.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Yes, that was the good part. The bad part is that it seems it didn't submit the insurances and I've lost tens of thousands. Customer service couldn't even figure out why it the billing section wouldn't boot up and I had to fix it.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

The company is going down into the flames to which I have consigned it many, many times. So, going in the right (downward) direction!

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It drastically lowered my taxes.

  ### 42. Practice Fusion

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barry M. | Physician, Medical Practice, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

Ability to free text and use pre-made macros

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

May not hit enough high point for upcoding for higher level visits.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

Stick with and you’ll likely end up liking it.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No longer dealing with illegible hand written medical progress notes.

  ### 43. Good EMR for start-up health practice

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2018

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

Information is clearly displayed and there are 'smart phrases' that doctors can specially build and use for dictating SOAP notes.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

The layout of appointments could be organized better. The health system doesn't offer a lot of methods for triage communication and document sharing.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm currently solving the fundamentals of organizing the health charts of patients on a work day to work day basis. This program benefits with simplicity and easy to use.

  ### 44. I use daily in my private practice

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mental Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2018

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

I love the template options! I can categorize what I need and put the appropriate options underneath.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

I dislike the new monthly fee with this software.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I never have to worry about if I remembered to pass information along. I know my fellow workers can login and see what has been done and the next steps

  ### 45. Free, but better than many expensive EMRs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr. Maria D. | Center Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

First of all, it is free. Writing notes in PF is a breeze. Very easy to use. I've tested many EMRs for my practice, and none of them (even solutions upward of $500/provider/month) came even close in ease and convenience of use and many also lacked features which were essential for my practice.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

There a few features on my wish list that I hope PF will eventually add, but none of those features are a deal breaker.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

Get it. It's free, it's easy to use, has loads of features. Integrates with different billing solutions.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides me with a web-based secure medical records.

  ### 46. Somewhat difficult to learn but overall a great program

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudia L. | Account Representative, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2017

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

It was organized when it came to looking up patients history

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

I wish it would stop someone from inputing things multiple times, where a duplicate would occur. It makes things difficult when trying to find the most updated, correct information.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

It takes a lot of practice to understand the different functions of the system. However, once you know exactly what to do, it is sooooo incredibly easy to be able to locate and organize patients records.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all records in one system solves a lot of issues when not being able to find certain documents if the practice was not paperless. It has benefited organization of the practice

  ### 47. practice fusion

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

Clear and concise. Easy to use. Allows for appointment reminders.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Not free anymore. Does not do billing or email confirmations. Program can be more customer friendly.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

clinical charting of clients; scheduling.

  ### 48. A little confusing, but overall it works for us

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristen W. | Disability Services Coordinator, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2017

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

Lots of options and information in one database

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

Sometimes hard to navigate. I think I close out of one screen and I've only "hid" it. Hard to find some things within "Tasks" and I don't like the messaging function.

**Recommendations to others considering Practice Fusion:**

Overall it is a good database and I would recommend it to colleagues.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration needs, interoffice communication, patient records all in one place

  ### 49. i love practice fusion

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

the website sometimes freezes & stops working .. i don't like that

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

practice fusion helps patients connect to the patient fusion.. 7 they can look p doctors orders ..their reports etc.

  ### 50. Practice Fusion review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Practice Fusion?**

PF provides a free electronic health record system to record and organize patient's health care information. It is user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Practice Fusion?**

I dislike that after one person has "archived" a message, then other users who have not read the message yet cannot see it or read it in their inbox.

**What problems is Practice Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Practice Fusion as an electronic health record system. We have realized it is an easy to use system to store patient's information.
