## Positly Reviews
  ### 1. An easy switch from Prolific with better value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Positly?**

What I like best about Positly is how quickly and easily I can launch a participant recruitment run. In my work, speed matters a lot, and Positly makes the setup process simple enough that I can go from having a survey ready to actively collecting responses without much friction. I also appreciate the cost-effectiveness. Compared with other platforms I’ve used, including Prolific, Positly has been a more affordable option while still delivering strong response quality. Another thing I value is that switching over was straightforward, so it did not take much effort to start using it in our research workflow.

**What do you dislike about Positly?**

One limitation is that Positly does not include a native survey builder. That means I need to create my survey in a separate tool, such as Google Forms or another survey platform, and then connect it to Positly for recruitment. This is not a dealbreaker, but it does add an extra step to the process and can be a bit inconvenient when I want to manage everything in one place.

**What problems is Positly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Positly solves the problem of finding research participants quickly, reliably, and at a reasonable cost. Before using it, recruiting respondents could be more time-consuming or expensive, especially when trying to maintain good data quality. Positly helps by making recruitment fast to set up and by providing access to respondents at a lower cost than some alternatives I’ve used. For my work, that means I can launch studies faster, stay within budget more easily, and still get responses that are useful for research.

  ### 2. Fast, Reliable Participant Recruitment with Fair, Transparent Pricing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Positly?**

What I like most about Positly is how simple and intuitive it is. I can quickly find qualified participants, saving a lot of time. Setting up a study is easy, and the QualityGuard system helps ensure reliable data by blocking bots and spam. The pricing is fair, making Positly a fast, affordable, and trustworthy platform for research.

**What do you dislike about Positly?**

Overall, I have very few complaints about Positly. The platform works really well, but a monthly subscription plan for frequent users would be a great improvement. It could lower costs and make budgeting easier, especially for researchers and university teams running multiple studies.

**What problems is Positly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Positly solves some of the biggest challenges in online research. First, the ability to configure and target a specific audience directly within the platform is very practical. I can filter participants by demographic, geographic, and behavioral characteristics without needing extra tools. Second, the speed of data collection is impressive. I can launch a study and start receiving responses in minutes, which is a huge advantage when working with tight academic deadlines. Finally, the anti-bot system (QualityGuard) gives me confidence that the responses I collect are from real, engaged participants. This is critical for maintaining data integrity and producing reliable research results.

Setting up, launching, and getting quality responses is easy and happens in a short time.

**What do you dislike about Positly?**

It has been really good thus far. No issues.
