# What Are the Highest Rated Coaching Platforms for Mid-Market Companies Developing Emerging Leaders?

Hey G2 community. The stretch from individual contributor to first-time manager, or from director to VP, is where a lot of companies lose good people, and a couple of platforms in Coaching carry a real reviewer base built specifically around closing that gap.

Growthspace: reviewers describe being matched with a coach for a specific development area, with one new manager crediting the program for building confidence and separating real skill gaps from the general insecurity of being new to the role. The AI matching lets someone switch coaches if the fit is off, and reviewers point to a sprint-based model that keeps completion rates high compared to open-ended coaching engagements.

Exec: reviewers point to leadership coaching scoped against specific goals, such as getting a senior director bench ready for promotion, with letting leaders sample and choose their own coach cited as the biggest reason utilization actually held up across a cohort. Reviewers do note that self-service reporting on coaching ROI could be more built out for reporting back to budget holders.

Would be useful to hear from mid-market companies directly here: did coaching actually change how quickly someone was ready for the next level, or did it mostly just make an already-strong performer more confident sooner?

Cloverleaf is a standout here, very highly rated and built around ongoing coaching insights (personality and strengths-based) that scale to developing emerging leaders without one-on-one executive coaching costs. NewLevelWork is another well-reviewed option focused specifically on leadership coaching for growing companies.
