One of the things I really like about Portnox is that it's a 100% SaaS-based solution which means no on-premises appliance. You do not need to maintain a separate VM or Virtual Appliance or even physical appliance with the service needed to maintain and take care of it. The other main advantage is the ability in real-time to see every device attempting to connect. This is helpful during audits to demonstrate authorized devices from unauthorized to an auditor. Lastly, Portnox aligned with the organization's compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, GLBA, and GDPR. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main issues with our Portnox solution has been intermittent authentication problems. Things like RADIUS timeouts, mysterious workstation auth issues, and guest wi-fi connection issues. Additionally, there's been a struggle with integration with our network firewalls mainly about configuring guest captive portal wireless with Fortinet.
