Plotline has made it incredibly easy for our team to run in-app nudges and experiments without heavy dev involvement.

The no-code interface is a huge win—within minutes, we can create and push contextual nudges or banners across different user cohorts. It’s really helpful for testing messaging, onboarding flows, or driving feature adoption without needing app releases. Their segmentation capabilities are flexible and the UI feels intuitive even for non-technical teams. The best part: it genuinely feels like a growth enabler rather than just another analytics tool. What do you dislike about Plotline?

At times, the dashboard can be a bit laggy, especially when switching between events or editing older campaigns. Also, while the templates are useful, I wish there were more advanced customisation options or animations to make nudges more interactive. And a native A/B testing feature with confidence intervals would make experimentation more robust without relying on external tools.

What problems is Plotline solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Plotline, making even small UX or communication tweaks required engineering bandwidth and app releases, which slowed us down. With Plotline, we’re able to quickly deploy nudges, banners, and in-app messages to the right cohorts—especially during onboarding, feature launches, or drop-off points, user research.

It’s helped us increase feature adoption, understand user behavior better, and test different approaches without waiting for a full release cycle. The ability to design and deploy a variety of in-app campaigns (stories, spotlights, coachmarks, tooltips, in-app videos) without any engineering effort is phenomenal.
