**What do you like best about PlantPAx DCS?**

The Look and Feel of the Faceplates, Global Objects, Default images & Icons were Excellent comparing any other DCS.
Availability of Built-in AOIs for most of the Instruments. AOIs are the Backbone of this PlantPAx DCS.
Accessible to Edit /Modify / Create AOIs at any stage of the Project, including online edit.

**What do you dislike about PlantPAx DCS?**

Requires more RAM for the CPU to process the Global Objects and Faceplates.
Screens sometimes lag or take time to load while navigating when we add more Global Objects or Faceplates on a single screen.

**What problems is PlantPAx DCS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using PlantPAx for the Oil and gas Storage Terminal. It helps to visualize the Product flow of the entire site efficiently.
Execute the Operations efficiently using the Faceplates.
Tracking and Monitoring the Alarms.

**What do you like best about PlantPAx DCS?**

In my experience, Plantpax is good for larger plants and for standardization across a companies facilities

**What do you dislike about PlantPAx DCS?**

One issue I have found with PlantPAX (after 4 installations/upgrades) is that it uses a LOT of CPU power. We've had to upgrade all the L6 processors to L7s to do the same "work" with the PlantPAX AOIs. You'll want to eliminate any continuous task you have and go to only periodic tasks to provide enough downtime in the CPU for comms.

**What problems is PlantPAx DCS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is pretty much what goes on in the typical DCS platforms like Honeywell Experion or DeltaV. The upside is that if you have a lot of existing fairly current RA hardware AND you will do a rewrite, it can save you some time.

Full compatibility with the logix family and third-party controllers

system requirements may be too demanding compared to similar products from other brands

To obtain the expected results, it is essential to follow the guidelines precisely as specified in the documentation respective software. Better to exceed the specs minimum equipment to ensure that they work optimally for several years.

**What problems is PlantPAx DCS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This integral control solution allowed the management of the logical and functional part; decision making, diagnosis, prevention, and disaster recovery.
