The returns workflow allows you to return one or more items against either a previously shipped order or a returns authorization. You can provide the actual item state here if it differs from that expected on the authorization, and record the item into a location to be put away.

Descartes Peoplevox Demo - Returns Summary

The returns summary screen shows an overview of the items that were returned using the new returns workflow. You can see the item that was returned, the order or RMA against which it was returned, as well as the reason and state of the item from here.

The location group detail page allows you to manipulate an individual location group, as well as its child locations and groups. You can adjust sequencing, move the group, and update the details of the locations underneath it from here.

"Great Platform, Very Scalable"

What do you like best about Descartes Peoplevox?

Incredibly simple to use from an operator point of view--the device tells you where to go and what to pick. Pick actions are super easy to create from an admin point of view.

It is also great for changing and growing with the business. We are changing our warehouse layout and PVX makes it very simple to change the pickface locations, bulk locations, and pick paths.

Great platform that grows with our business. Also, their customer experiecne is second only to ours. Their team is always there to help us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Descartes Peoplevox?

I would say the UI. There are certian parts that are not super intiutive. However, PVX is doing a great job with rolling out improvements to the UI. For example, their reporting is leaps and bounds better than when we first started using the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Descartes Peoplevox?

I love the practicality of the solution and the ease with which you can implement it into direct use with a team of frontline associates. The only thing that provided more ease than the solution was the customer support and service of the team we worked with through the process. Specifically, Tyler and AJ, have gone above and beyond to offer support when needed, put out any fires, and to make effort in building positive and ongoing relationships. What do you dislike about Descartes Peoplevox?

My only wish would be for expansion of assistive features within PeopleVox; however, I think that the PeopleVox team is fully committed and invested in making these improvements by listening to feedback as it is provided. What problems is Descartes Peoplevox solving and how is that benefiting you?

It was providing a dispatch solution for orders after our in-house development team had integrated our couriers to the software and provided a fully operational WMS for our business that was capable of generating a lot of flexible reports covering inventory movement and stock outs mainly. What do you like best about Descartes Peoplevox?

In comparison to other WMS solutions, we cant recommend any one item as standout Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Descartes Peoplevox?

- During the dispatch process, it is not possible to split a single shipment into multiple articles. You need to create a completely new shipment, which unnecessarily increases shipping cost. For us, that meant an additional $250,000AUD per annum in freight expense.

- PVX has basically nil RMA and warranty handling functionality – It requires you to circumvent the WMS system and transfer the stock into a black hole to process simple returns.

- Incredibly poor for omnichannel retailers that require POS functionality. To sell an item from bricks and mortar location required a significant number of steps and processing. If you have multiple locations, this is where it gets very frustrating.

- The UI and UX are very dated, 9 months into training and our staff were still frustrated with the UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Descartes Peoplevox solving and how is that benefiting you?

We cancelled our contract with Peoplevox after spending $20,000AUD in implementation, 9 months of staff training, and before even going live. Peoplevox at this point was incredibly distasteful to deal with, as, at the time of write, we are still receiving monthly invoice, with no reply from every one of their staff ( 7 months on). My strong advice to eCommerce retailers is to look elsewhere for a WMS solution if you want tight functionality to integrate with Magento or Shopify. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
