I find Pendo very easy to use and appreciate its capability to integrate with our full tech stack. It integrates well with HubSpot, which we use as our MAP. This integration allows us to customize emails and outreach based on who is and isn't using a certain feature. Additionally, it helps us do a better job with lead scoring. I'm also excited that Pendo is developing Novus, which will solve issues by auto-tagging and updating our guides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The manual tagging is a pain. We release new features every 3 weeks. The initial setup of Pendo was painful. We purchased it in December, it's now the end of March and it's still not live. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With Pendo, I learn so much about our product and its users, and I love that it covers the entire product with retroactive analytics. I can get all of the answers I need without needing to know all of the questions up front. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The performance of the reports and the designer can be slow at times. It has improved over the years, but would love for it to be even easier and faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find Pendo to be a great start for our team, which hasn't been analytically focused. It allows us to make decisions based on real data instead of just gut feeling. I appreciate how we're now able to understand what users are doing in our product, which helps us identify and remove features that are not being used but are costly to maintain. I like the different capabilities that Pendo offers to keep expanding the product and gaining more insights for better decision-making. Additionally, the initial setup of Pendo was very simple for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Right now we really want to capture user feedback but it is very difficult to capture it with our use case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the convenience of coming to Pendo with a research question and refining that question. Usually, PMs don't know exactly what data they're looking for, so before conducting an entire research project, Pendo is extremely helpful in helping us identify goals and success metrics. I also appreciate how it allows sending messages to customers without developer time and helps understand general usage without having to build an event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pendo is complicated because our code base is complicated, so it takes at least a year of commitment to feel confident in speaking on that data. The initial metadata setup is difficult because engineers don't understand that implementation as well and aren't used to testing metadata in Pendo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Real user data to see how our features are being adopted by users. I've liked the guides. I'm excited about replay Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Tagging and segmenting have been very tricky. We found out through many meeting with our own dev team and pendo, that the automatic tags it was selecting were ones that were changing between releases. Our dev team still frequently needs to be reminded to use data-testids that are unique to the element. I'd love to get ai help with that and some of the analytics. I find the funnel and path reports a little confusing to read especially when users end up in the same spot but they appear like the user clicked different elements when really they clicked the same. We are still working on how we want to track deprecated elements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I feel like reporting can get easier through natural language. Same with Segments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Thank you for the 10/10 — and for calling out visibility specifically.
"How many users, where are they coming from, what are they clicking on" is exactly the problem we built Pendo to solve, so it's great to hear it landed. Getting your first real NPS score is a big deal too. On the natural-language side for reporting and Segments, that's a direction we're actively building toward, and feedback like yours helps push it. If you want to swap notes with other teams on reporting approaches, the Pendo Community at community.pendo.io is a good place to land.
See how Pendo improvedI like how easy Pendo is to use and I love that it can retroactively tell me things about component usage. Knowing how many users interact with certain components helps me make decisions about their importance and usability. I also like what you're doing with the new AI feature for net new companies, and it would be great to have those features available for large enterprise clients like us, especially auto-tagging and dashboards that surface vital information. The tagging feature is hard to use and I hate setting up my own dashboard. Also creating segments is difficult due to the way our engineers set that up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ability to easily create segments and create reports with Pendo. It gives me insights on what areas and insurance plans are being looked at and helps identify where payer education is needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The actual graphs for Pendo exports. I have to manually type out each of the benchmark numbers for line charts and it takes me hours. I wish there were also more graphs available. Kind of easy. Was very overwhelming being one of the first products to implement this in my company. Felt like I needed to study Pendo on the side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how Pendo helps me with product analytics by providing data on clicks, usage, and page views. The retroactive tagging feature is particularly convenient because it allows me to tag features after the fact and access data from when a feature wasn't correctly tagged. This is especially useful during product launches and when we're considering analytics afterward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Governance is a challenge, especially in terms of knowing who owns what and who changed what. It feels disorganized, like the 'far west.' I also have issues with the tag lifecycle, including how to archive tags and detect broken tags. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
