## About Paygent
Paygent is an AI agent monetization and cost tracking platform built for AI-native businesses. Unlike traditional billing tools that track revenue, Paygent tracks what actually matters: margin per agent, real gross profit per customer, and the cost of every LLM call, API request, and compute event in real time. Key Capabilities: - Real-time AI agent cost tracking across LLMs, cloud providers, and third-party APIs - Gross profit visibility per customer and per agent - Automated billing supporting usage-based, outcome-based, and subscription pricing - Native SDKs for Node.js, Python, and Go - No custom engineering build required Who uses Paygent: AI startups, voice AI companies, and autonomous agent teams that need to stop guessing at margins and start running a provably profitable business.

## Paygent Reviews
  ### 1. Best-in-class billing automation for usage-based Al products

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pankaj G. | CTO and Co-founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Paygent?**

- Handles genuinely complex billing logic - per-agent pricing, minimum
monthly commitments, multi-line invoices with tax compliance (GST, TDS,
HSN codes)
- API-first design means our platform and Paygent stay in sync without
any manual steps. Agents go live on our end, billing kicks in on theirs
- Exposed a pricing API so our team could build configuration Uls directly
into our admin portal - huge time saver
- Order management, credit notes, and dispute workflows are all built in
- The team understood our finance workflow: consumption data →
quotation → PO → invoice, and built toward automating that entire chain
- USD support available for international expansion

**What do you dislike about Paygent?**

- Initial agent data sync needed some debugging cycles - timezone
mismatches and STT data gaps took a few iterations to resolve
- Integration setup required close collaboration; not a plug-and-play out-
of-the-box tool (though this is understandable given the complexity)

**What problems is Paygent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paygent became our billing backbone. We went from entirely manual
invoicing to a fully automated pipeline. They were also our first vendor to
get an NDA executed quickly and move at startup speed alongside us.
Strong recommend for any product with usage-based or consumption
billing.

  ### 2. Paygent Makes AI Spend Transparent with Granular, Node-Level Cost Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammad S. | ceo, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Paygent?**

We run a high-scale LangGraph implementation with over 50 nodes and multiple LLM providers. Our biggest headache was the 'black box' monthly bill; we knew we were spending a lot, but we couldn't see where the leak was.

Integrating Paygent changed everything. We moved from aggregated billing to granular, node-level tracking. Within the first month, we identified specific 'culprit nodes' that were driving 40% of our costs through inefficient retries and expensive model fallbacks. The dashboard makes it incredibly easy to compare spend across different agents and providers in real-time. If you’re serious about scaling AI without losing control of your margins, Paygent is a must-have."

**What do you dislike about Paygent?**

The granular instrumentation required for a 50-node graph introduces a higher level of architectural complexity and a critical dependency on real-time financial telemetry that demands disciplined engineering oversight.

**What problems is Paygent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paygent replaces "black box" monthly billing with real-time, node-level tracking so you can see exactly which parts of your AI workflow are wasting money. By catching inefficient retries and expensive model fallbacks instantly, it stops margin leakage and gives you the surgical control needed to keep every agentic task profitable.
