"Onlyoffice - The only Microsoft Office you'll ever need"

5/5

What do you like best about ONLYOFFICE Workspace?

First the fact that this is an open source solution. Second is the fact that I don't need to install anything else on my machine to make use of it. Only Office is able to import all the file types from Microsoft Applications, all done online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ONLYOFFICE Workspace?

It's take a little long to load, but once the application is online, it's easy enough to use securely and from anywhere. The long loading times is not a problem once you have the app running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mikhail Korotaev of ONLYOFFICE Workspace

edit

You describe very accurately what we want our products to be. Thank you for that! As for the loading time, we are improving it, and hopefully you will evidence an easier load soon.

The collaboration and simultaneous editing has made meetings very productive. We can not only talk about what needs updated but update it then and there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering ONLYOFFICE Workspace:

Do not hesitate to implement it. Be cautious on the upgrade process, however, that is tricky and will need support to help most of the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ONLYOFFICE Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have more collaboration and cooperation on documents and presentations. Previously we would email Word docs to a number of people then try to reconciling them in the end. Security concerns prevents us from using GSuite. But even if we could, we prefer not having "upgrades" foisted on us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mikhail Korotaev of ONLYOFFICE Workspace

edit

Thank you Jeffrey. Could you give us more details about the problem? What do you mean by backing out of a file? An accurate scenario will help localize the issue.

"Better Privacy, just as much Power as Google/Microsoft Suite"

4/5

What do you like best about ONLYOFFICE Workspace?

It's well-designed, user-friendly, and has just as many features as the main office suite competitors. It's genuinely a competitor to Google Docs and Microsoft Office, which is astonishing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ONLYOFFICE Workspace?

The spreadsheets have just as many raw features, but lack basics like auto-complete and suggested formulas that we forget to take for granted in Google Sheets or Excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mikhail Korotaev of ONLYOFFICE Workspace

edit

Spreadsheets are one of our key focus areas for improvement at the moment. We would especially appreciate a detailed feedback on that! Thank you.

"A great alternative"

4.5/5

What do you like best about ONLYOFFICE Workspace?

I can use it on different OS. I´m a Linux enthusiast and use ONLYOFFICE in this OS when I´m working, but I have Windows on my laptop so that I can use the same app on both. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ONLYOFFICE Workspace?

Well, up to now I don´t have problems with it. It is quite a simple installation, even for Linux or Windows. A problem for me is using third part software on it. For example, I use Mendeley, for citation manager, and it is not so simple to install it in ONLYOFFICE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mikhail Korotaev of ONLYOFFICE Workspace

edit

Hi Alexandr. Thank you for your honest feedback! Now, with a Plugin Manager (found in Plugins tab), installing/uninstalling plugins is effortless. Check it out!
