What do you like best about NiceJob?

I use NiceJob as a marketing agency for our local service clients. My favorite part about NiceJob is the scalability of the tool in review generation solutions for our clients. We don't need to purchase multiple licenses at one time and then hope to sell the review generation services to clients. We can sign a client up and add NiceJob to the tech stack one client at a time. The UI is really easy to navigate as well jumping from client to client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NiceJob?

I wish there were more integrations. There seems to be a lot of that for other service industries. We're in the landscaping and lawn care industry and the only two real native integrations we have are with Jobber and Quickbooks. We can use Zapier to connect it to whatever we need, but most lawn care and landscaping CRMs don't even have webhook capabilities which makes NiceJob harder to use in this industry if Quickbooks or Jobber isn't being used. What do you like best about NiceJob?

I really like the automation in NiceJob. It's synced with our CRM and is pretty much hands-off. Review invites are sent out automatically when a work order is completed in our CRM, which is great. The invites go out first by text and then by email, and this sequence is customizable too. I especially appreciate how it sends invites to the onsite contact of the job, who directly interacts with our service team. The initial setup was very easy, and our account rep was crucial in getting things right with the CRM integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NiceJob?

I don't like the widgets and aspects that interact with the website to show reviews. I'd like more customization in terms of the number of reviews displayed, style, font, color, etc. We want it to fit our website exactly, and that wasn't possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NiceJob?

I like the usability of NiceJob and the data analytics it offers. It's great that as soon as a job is completed within our CRM, the NiceJob platform automatically sends a review link by text, and then follows up by email, making the whole process completely automated and hands-off for us. This automation helps us get as many reviews as possible and makes it easy for customers to leave a review. Additionally, when people leave reviews, I can see how they arrived at that review, whether they did it themselves or through the NiceJob platform, which is usually the case. Also, the initial setup was good; it only took about fifteen to twenty minutes to set everything up and integrate with the CRM, and it's been running smoothly since. What do you like best about NiceJob?

NiceJob is easily one of the best tools for our company. The number one thing we love about them is their customer service. We're connected to a live person immediately, and they are always knowledgeable and friendly. This goes a long way for us! Of course, the ability to get regular reviews from our clients is equally important. Due to an unfortunate incident before we began using NiceJob, years worth of reviews were wiped from our Google listing. Thanks to this company, we were able to begin building them back immediately. We now have a perfect 5.0 rating, with over 55 reviews from our clients, in a matter of a few short weeks. This product is priceless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NiceJob?

The only thing that we dislike about NiceJob is the difficulty uploading clients to the database. It would be much easier to insert them one by one, rather than collecting them overtime on a spreadsheet, which must then be manually uploaded to their system. What do you like best about NiceJob?

I really appreciate how intuitive the NiceJob interface is, which makes it straightforward to use. The assistance provided by the representative during setup was incredibly helpful, as they walked me through the process swiftly and efficiently. The ability of NiceJob to automate the solicitation of reviews without needing constant follow-up is immensely beneficial for my business. This automation is key because it ensures reviews are posted regularly after work completion, relieving me from having to manage this task directly. The software's impact on my Google reviews is significant; since using NiceJob, the number of reviews has grown from three to almost thirty. This amplified visibility is crucial for a business, especially one with large average job sizes. Furthermore, the software offers great value for its cost, aligning well with my needs. I hold a recurring subscription and have no intention of canceling, as it consistently delivers excellent service. Also, it's the first and only option I considered, and it has proven to be the best choice for my requirements. What do you like best about NiceJob?

We started using NiceJob primarily as a review platform, and in that respect it does what it promises: it helps drive reviews, which was our main reason for purchasing. For that purpose, it’s been solid.

Our team has also found value in their support team: very quick responses and very detailed, when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NiceJob?

That said, there are a number of downsides we’ve experienced:

Landing Page SEO: The company site/landing page NiceJob creates for you doesn’t rank well. Even when searching something as direct as “our company reviews,” it often shows up on page 2 or 3 of Google and lower on the SERPs than other review platforms. There are simple SEO improvements they could implement, but they’re not there yet.

Referrals: One of the big selling points for us was the referral system, but it hasn’t generated results. Editing the automated conversations are limited.

Multi-location Challenges: If you’re running multiple locations, the platform gets clunky. Switching between locations isn’t smooth, and the “Stories” widget becomes unusable when tied to Facebook reviews. The same review gets duplicated across every location. There’s also no flexibility to choose how many reviews to display; you’re stuck with 15, which is overwhelming on mobile.

Lack of Export Options: You can’t export your reviews, which limits usability.

On-the-Ground Review Collection: Transitioning from an installer in the field to a customer leaving a review is awkward. The only suggested workaround is having every installer create their own NiceJob profile/app account and get trained, which isn’t practical at scale.

Overall, NiceJob is a decent solution if you only need a simple way to collect more reviews. But if you’re hoping to use the other features such as SEO benefits, referrals, or multi-location support, you may find it falls short. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NiceJob?

It does a tremendous job automating review requests from our customers and is hassle-free for our business. I love how easily it integrates with Housecall Pro and automatically invites customers to leave reviews right when their job is finished. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NiceJob?

I have frequent issues with the NiceJob website widgets firing correctly and often have to submit support tickets to my website host to resolve the problem and reinstall the widget code. What do you dislike about NiceJob?

Website won't load most of the time and they have no idea why. I have to clear cookies and cache if I want to use it but I can't do that every day. I have set up two accounts and both automatically triggered before I was prompted to edit messages or even know what was going out. There needs to be clear onboarding steps and right now there are none. I can't imagine someone not heavily invested in this having an easy go at it. I am heavily invested, and I found it way more complicated than it needed to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
