Tyler Enterprise ERP for Schools Reviews & Product Details

Not much at this point - things that are supposed to open up additional windows with things like invoices or change orders just do not work. We get blank screens and no support from Tyler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When you click on "invoice" from a Purchase Order screen,you get nothing.

When you click on "change order" from any screen, you get nothing.

When you ask Tyler Technology to fix issues, you get nothing.

There are so many things in this software that are supposed to work but just don't. Tyler Technology seems to have no understanding of how to fix it (it's been 6 months and we are still having exact same issues with software not working correctly). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

MUNIS is very user friendly for entering payroll changes and running payroll. Tyler Technologies is constantly adding new features to make payroll processing even easier to use. I dislike that there isn't a lot of information on how to operate the software from the software itself. I appreciate when software systems will have "help" tabs on each page in case users have questions about a specific part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This system can truly do it all - from general fund to grants accounting and management as well as management of purchasing, contracting, and vendors. This is supremely helpful for our organization, as it means that all of our financial information and functionality is consolidated here. The interface is horribly bland and utilitarian. The program and each module are so nuanced, with different functionalities that don't correspond to each other. For example, entering a purchase order and a contract requires entirely different skills. Essentially, you need to know, for each function that you are trying to achieve, what each of the jargoned fields means and exactly how to enter the information and which fields need to be populated and which need to be blank.
