"Flexible, Intuitive Collaboration on an Infinite Canvas & Project Roadmap"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

What I like best about Miro is its flexibility and ease of collaboration. The infinite canvas makes it easy to organize ideas, create diagrams, and map out complex workflows without feeling constrained. Real-time collaboration allows team members to brainstorm, review designs, and provide feedback simultaneously, making remote teamwork much more efficient.

Overall, Miro is intuitive, visually appealing, and versatile enough to support everything from simple note-taking to large-scale project planning, making it a valuable tool for both technical and non-technical teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

Probably sometimes it slow to load if your Miro board contained a lot of diagram Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful and Easy-to-Use Collaboration Tool and Makes Brainstorming and Planning Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

What I like best about Miro is that it brings brainstorming, planning, and collaboration into a single, intuitive workspace. The UI is clean and easy to navigate, making it simple for both new and experienced users to create diagrams, workflows, and whiteboards. Miro integrates well with tools like Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Microsoft Teams, helping our team stay connected without constantly switching between applications. Performance is generally smooth, even when multiple people are collaborating on the same board in real time. The wide range of templates and straightforward onboarding make it easy to get started, while the available help resources are useful whenever needed. The newer AI features, such as summarising content and organising ideas, help reduce manual effort during brainstorming sessions. Although some advanced capabilities require a paid plan, the productivity gains and improved collaboration make Miro a worthwhile investment for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

One downside of Miro is that some of its most useful features are only available in the paid plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile and User-Friendly for Visualizing Ideas"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

I use Miro for building flows and keeping track of macro ideas about projects and programs. I like that it helps me have a centralized, UI-friendly interface and a clear visualization kit. The flexibility is great, especially with how easy it is to export work for documentation and integrate with other Google tools and Atlassian. The initial setup was very easy. What do you dislike about Miro?

I dislike the variety of the color palette in Miro. It would be great to have presets and color combinations based on themes like warm, cool, vintage, etc., so you can have a matchy color set from the start. There's also an issue with formatting; sometimes when I copy and paste a diagram I just built from one side to the other, I lose all the formatting. Things like colors and line thickness change randomly, which seems like a glitch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Collaborations with Miro's Versatile Templates"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

I love the templates that I can use in Miro because they are easy to use and interact with, which speeds up my thinking about work rather than spending time designing brainstorming sessions. The ability to integrate my Jira instances with Miro and bring work in progress into brainstorming sessions is super helpful. I also appreciate the embedded Google Sheets and slides or other links to scattered work in progress, as Miro brings everything together regardless of where it's located, saving me time looking for things. It makes sharing ideas directly with team members and leaders in real-time easy, eliminating the need for slides or presentations. The initial setup of Miro was very easy too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

Some integrations are hard to use or get working and usually need admin interventions. I wish these integrations could be available for users to manage rather than needing admins. Also, now that we've grown, it's hard to reorganize Miro into a way that makes sense for the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro AI Supercharges Teams, Products, and Creativity"
5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

Miro is the unexpected killer AI! Through the power of the canvas, only Miro allows you to place all your inputs -- data files, transcripts, docs, APIs -- and engage Miro AI sidekicks to superpower your personal productivity and enterprise transformation with incredible ideation, insights, data extraction, designs, diagrams, reports, presentations and mind maps for next gen processes, products, programs, and enterprise plans, strategy, and roadmaps.

I've used Miro to ideate a new product idea and was thrilled at its collaborative depth and breadth to suggest things I had not thought of and suggestions to diagram and summarize the product plan.

I've used Miro for deep analysis and synthesis of spreadsheet data for business intelligence and pattern identification. I am able to select the inputs that pertain and ask pointed questions on specific trends and get key insights. It's a new, agile, "guerilla"-style tool for rapid business insights and a precursor to ideating and planning BI dashboards.

I've used Miro for UI/UX research, starting with analysis of selected interview transcripts and asking the Miro sidekick to identify key trends. This has resulting in greater speed, agility, data points and key metrics, user quotes and superhuman thoroughness in guiding product management, Issue and opportunity groupings, and next level, data-supported reports and prioritized next steps.

I've also used Miro to save countless hours with unbounded flexibility and creativity to generate rapid prototypes and visualizations, empowering my own creative brainstorming and processes and communicating the value of the ideas to my teams and stakeholders. What do you dislike about Miro?

Miro is amazing. It was a bit of a learning curve to understand the organization of boards in the left menu -- the spaces, teams and permission concepts. I also wish the Text tool offered advanced formatting and styling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Interactive Workshops Made Simple with Miro"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

I use Miro for workshops with my clients and brands, and I really appreciate how it makes visual problem-solving easier. The platform allows me to go through a lot of visual assets, like flowcharts, and helps in walking clients through processes, conducting comparative studies, and displaying pros and cons. The visual aspect brings in lots of interaction during workshops, letting clients contribute their views, add stickies, and engage in interactive activities. Miro provides a huge workspace, enabling multiple tasks with different stakeholders simultaneously, which I find really beneficial. The AI features that help consolidate comments are a nice addition too. It's definitely more user-friendly and interactive than other tools I've used, with more features that are easy to utilize, enhancing the overall experience. What do you dislike about Miro?

I think the three work codes restriction in Miro is a bit too tight, and maybe it could be increased to five. It would also be helpful if people could have more access after live sessions. There's a desire for more animated elements to make things visually appealing in the free mode. Switching from view-only to editable boards can be a bit complicated because you have to manage and maintain how many editable boards you can have at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dynamic, Easy-to-Use Workspace for Seamless Collaboration"
5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

A dynamic workspace that supports collaboration and teamwork. Easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

My biggest challenge isn’t the tool itself; it’s what happens after the workshop. Miro ends up being yet another place where important information lives. Between Google Drive, Dropbox, Notion, Figma, email, and local files, I often struggle to remember where a specific piece of work ultimately ended up. That’s more of a personal knowledge and file-management issue than a Miro issue, but it still affects how confidently I can adopt the tool for longer-term work and follow-through. "Best tool for customer research analysis and UX"
5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

I can share a link to Miro board and people will see it. I can also give them edit access without worrying about accounts. It has tablet app which is very user friendly. Its integration with Jira saves a lot of time. I dont have to rewrite Epics or stories. I can just copy the links and it recorgnizes those... I have switched back from FigJam because I know Miro is easier and people would recor Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro Makes Team Brainstorming Simple and Visual"
5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

Miro’s collaborative whiteboard makes it easy to brainstorm, organize ideas, and work with a team in real time. I especially like how simple and flexible it is for turning ideas into clear visual plans. The value is good for the price because Miro saves time on brainstorming, planning, and team collaboration. Having everything in one visual workspace makes it easier to stay organized and work together efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

The interface can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially when a board has lots of content. Some advanced features also take time to learn, and large boards can sometimes become difficult to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Daily Architecture Workhorse with Great Integrations"
5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

Honestly, Miro's become part of my daily toolkit as a cloud architect — I'm in it constantly mapping out system architecture and specs that end up shared across half the company.

The canvas itself is great — going from a messy whiteboard sketch to something presentable is easy, and frames keep big diagrams from turning into spaghetti. Where it struggles is really large diagrams (100+ nodes, lots of icons) — panning gets a bit sluggish and real-time collab with a few people editing at once can lag.

Integrations are honestly a highlight — Jira, Slack, etc sets mean I rarely have to leave the board to keep things connected to actual tickets and docs.

It's genuinely your source of truth for architecture, it pays for itself by replacing three or four other tools and killing the "which version is current" problem.

Onboarding is basically nonexistent because the UI is intuitive enough that people I share boards with just figure it out. Support has been fine, nothing amazing.

AI features are a nice bonus but not core to my workflow yet — good for a rough first draft, not precise enough for real architecture work. Would love to see it get smarter about generating diagrams straight from infra-as-code.

Overall: great daily driver Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

Biggest gripe is diagram density — once a board gets busy (which happens fast with real architecture work), connectors start crossing and overlapping and there's no smart auto-routing to clean it up. I end up manually untangling lines just to keep things readable, which is time I shouldn't have to spend.

Performance is the weak spot for exactly the boards where it matters most — big, icon-heavy architecture diagrams get sluggish to pan and zoom, especially with a few people editing at once. Some kind of simplified rendering when zoomed out would help a lot.

A lot of stuff that should be table stakes (better permissions, deeper integrations, admin controls) is locked behind a pretty steep jump to Business/Enterprise. Rough sell when the tier with what I need is priced like it's for a 500-person org.

Onboarding for basic stuff is easy since the UI is intuitive, but there's not much real guidance for advanced use — like how to structure boards for a big team or keep things maintainable long-term. Ends up being trial and error or digging through community forums. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
