## Milanote Reviews
  ### 1. The Most Visual and Intuitive Tool for Creative Planning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manila B. | Digital Marketing Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

What I like best about Milanote is its beautiful, visual interface that allows me to organize thoughts, ideas, and projects like a digital whiteboard. It’s perfect for creative work — from moodboards and storyboards to strategy maps and content planning. I love how easy it is to drag and drop anything (notes, images, links, tasks) and how fluidly everything stays organized without feeling rigid or too structured.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

Milanote is great, but the free plan can feel a bit limited if you use it heavily. I’d also love to see more integrations with third-party tools or automation platforms. For now, it’s mostly a standalone workspace. Still, it’s so well-designed that I’m happy to work around those limits.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Milanote solves the problem of managing complex creative ideas across multiple formats. It allows me to visually map out projects, connect related elements, and collaborate in a more natural, visual way. This helps me keep track of everything without switching tools, and it makes presentations or brainstorming with clients or collaborators much easier and more effective.

  ### 2. Perfect for Creative Mind-Mapping

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mharie P. | Project Administrator, Real Estate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

I have been using Milanote for a few months already and this is a game-changer when it comes to taking notes and collaborating with a team. It has become an essential part of my daily tasks, planning, and process mapping to ensure that I am able to finish given tasks properly.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

I think the only thing that I don't like with this tool is that there is a payment to fully use it. However, It's not really that bad. Good things come with a price and that's fine.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With my job, it is important to really take notes since I am handling multiple tasks in a day. Without notes, I may make certain mistakes since I am still new to this role. I've already tried several tools to take notes however, Milanotes became more appealing to me because it made note taking and mind mapping fun and easy.

  ### 3. Amazing tool for problem-solving & strategy visualization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea R. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

Milanote is an amazing tool to organize and scale up the clarity of ideas and make sense of them as they grow.
Milanote's flexible drag-and-drop interface lets you arrange things in whatever way makes sense for your project.
The interface is intuitive, easy to navigate, and I find everything I need quickly. Can't wait to see what Milanote holds next!

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

Milanote is just fantastic. There are many examples of creative projects, but I would argue that it is amazing for mind mapping business operations, strategy, and change.
Milanote scales startups and could offer credit to all verified startups around the world. This program could be geared toward new startups.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Milanote is a visual extension of strategic planning and organizational narratives.
Great for organizing and scaling up the clarity of ideas and making sense of them as they grow.
Drag-and-drop interface lets me arrange things in whatever makes sense for my projects.
The interface is intuitive, and I find everything I need quickly.

  ### 4. Super nice visual planner tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica K. | Marketing Coordinator, Hospitality, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

I love the appearance - it makes it feel like I'm bullet journaling and I love that the boards can go as long/wide as you need them to.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

I wish there were a few more tools of things to drag onto the board. I also wish the search tool worked better (clunky to use). And I wish the columns made sense when viewed on mobile, but the order moves around. I only use it on desktop now.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planning websites for clients, gathering content, keeping my own projects on track, brainstorming new brand mood boards, etc.

  ### 5. Content and Task Management Made Clean

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach M. | Social Media Specialist + Process and Efficiency Guy 📈, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

Milanote is one of the cleanest, most user-friendly project and content management systems I've had the pleasure of using to create and manage social media calendars.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

Some of its functionality is lacking (specifically the inability to track edit history, which leads to clients being left off of boards due to lack of trust), and on the mobile app there are some content restrictions which makes native TikTok and Instagram posting inefficient.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Needing a collaborative space to store social media content, arrange it in a logical fashion, create and edit copy, and manage an approval and posting workflow.

  ### 6. I don't use Milanote for Mind Mapping: it's not good for that. It's good for website design.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave H. | Doer of Things, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

Easy for remote people in different timezones to keep up with what's going on, without the chaos of an online whiteboard. Keeps you thinking about website design 'on the rails'.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

Seems to lack some flexibility (that's the price of creating an environment that's especially good for one thing, I suppose). As an example, when I create a link on a board, I want to *name* the link but I can't. That seems like a no-brainer. And when you get stuck on something like this, there isn't a super-flexible way of redefining 'link' so that you can add a title for the link.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We'll see--but I think it should be good for sharing progress and milestones and getting feedback on all kinds of creative checkpoints / deliverables from clients.

  ### 7. One of the most impressive note app!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kanstantsin M. | System Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

Visual note adding with a very minimalistic menu which adds so many possibilities. Just a perfect merge of functionality, user-friendly interface and simplicity.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

I think it is missing the calendar feature. you can create a template that looks like a calendar and can be used in some way but it's definitely missing feature.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visual notes, boards, links, images. And everything like on a chalkboard with free space to use.

  ### 8. Clean and full featured

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariana F. | Executive Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

Milanote is an incredibly robust and competent app, endowed with all the necessary tools to register and communicate ideas on a moodboard. The simple way you just drag elements onto the canvas and modify their properties is amazing.
Support for various types of media, which can also be dragged with a few clicks, makes the experience much more complete.
The option to create multiple boards within a single account and then share them gives me great flexibility.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

I have nothing to complain about this app (so far). I can only think of the many good points and wonder why I didn't discover this tool before.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to make mood boards in team brainstorming sessions. We also use it to detail points and specific project details, such as annotations and signs on top of images.

  ### 9. A beautiful way to organize

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ellie K. | Talent Acquisition Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

I love being able to add pictures and links. It's great for everything I need to organize and perfect for collaboration. I also love that it's web based so I don't have to take up room on my computer

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

I'd love to be able to set up notifications. Other than that, I have no complaints. I just wish more people knew about it since it's such a fantastic way to organize everything.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is great for managing my daily to-do list and was really helpful when I managed work from my personal life, different accounts for my business and moving.

It's also a great way to manage gifting so it's perfect for the holidays.

  ### 10. A good alternative to other repositories for your data, notes, etc.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Photography | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

When it works, the clean, uncluttered web interface lets me store and retrieve details for social media posts in a simple, convenient way.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

I've run into several issues: One, as you add content, Milanote slows down to nearly unworkable speeds. Two, with updates existing data was reformatted in ways that you can't undo and impedes being productive. Some of the updates have been sloppy for long-time, existing users like myself. Third, compared to alternatives, it's expensive.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've mainly used Milanote to write, organize visually, and store social media posts to make it fast and easy to reuse content. That's made what would otherwise be a disorganized and time-consuming process more efficient and less arduous.

  ### 11. Excellent Project Management for Marketers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea G. | Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

I like the ability to manage projects while also making your progress aesthetically pleasing. It allows you to brainstorm and be creative.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

The free version is very limited. Milanote should increase the number of boards and content you are allowed before having to upgrade to the paid version.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am collaborating with my marketing team to create campaigns while also managing progress on those campaigns.

  ### 12. Great for brainstorming and moodboards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

I like how simple it is to collect thoughts and inspiration and then share it with the team for presentations and meetings.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

I wish that there was more opportunity for customizing type. The styling is very limited. I would also like the ability to theme board backgrounds and the UI per board.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moodboards, brainstorming sessions, and inspirations collection.

  ### 13. Simple way to organize thoughts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Aviation & Aerospace | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

Using different organizational tools in one program to create a stream-of-consciousness sort of plan is beneficial. It's simple and easily organizes anything that you need to manage.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

When working within a board, things don't click into place, so you have to try your hardest to get everything lined up perfectly and aesthetically pleasing. One of the issues with having OCD

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Milanote to plan YouTube videos, including shot lists, checklists, deadlines, etc. This tool allows me to know exactly what I need to do to reach my goals at work.

  ### 14. Love Milanote for collaboration and organization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah G. | Senior Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

It's perfect for collaborating and sharing ideas with coworkers

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

Since it's really only good for notes and brainstorming it's not really useful as a PM tool

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I clean/sleek way to collaborate on projects with a lot of flexibility

  ### 15. The best app to keep your work organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

Adorable and aesthetic platform, you can create various boards and organized ideas, very helpful for team projects

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

Nothing ! the app is straightforward to use and pleasing.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organize projects and work with team members at the same time

  ### 16. Easiest and most cutomizable software on the planet!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Motion Pictures and Film | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

You can start with a blank screen or a template but this combines creativity, mind mapping, and organization in one tool.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

The mobile app needs a lot of work. It does not function nearly as well as the desktop. I would like more color usage options.

**Recommendations to others considering Milanote:**

This was a game-changer for us. We are a creative company and had issues finding linear software programs that fit a non-linear way of thinking. We can have multiple users in the program LIVE, all making changes at the same time. It is amazing.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Milanote for storyboarding, story structure, casting, wardrobe, brainstorming, organizing locations and shots/visuals, but also to keep our tasks in line.

  ### 17. A very simple but quite useful application to write down ideas and sketches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason S. | Team Leader, Coiled Tubing Service, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

This application is very useful to keep a certain control of annotation is the inspirations that it gives us every day at work and have a digital compilation of it, where we can even send an invitation to other people to give their opinion or collaborate on our boards with the sketch that let's have. It also allows us to export the content as well as Word or PDF. The best thing is that I can use it from any device so if any inspiration appears at a given moment we can easily write or draw it at that moment.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

The only disadvantage that for now I see it is that it is only available in English and sometimes I send contributions to colleagues who speak another language for their opinions or help me in my sketches but this is not a great barrier because the commands and characteristics are basic that Any foreigner with a very basic command of English can handle it.

**Recommendations to others considering Milanote:**

I recommend it for those people and professionals who like to have their primary ideas or their sketches organized digitally

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In many of the engineering planning processes we always need sketches or inspirations that help us to improve the operational processes of preventive maintenance and on many occasions we want to have new ideas for new tools, equipment and components that help us to better carry out these chores. Obviously the designs must be made in a plane, but the main ideas or inspirations is always good to have sketches or ideas that later lead you to carry out these projects.

  ### 18. Tool For Organizing Projects Into Visual Boards

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sujita M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

The ability to create unlimited boards is the most liked thing about Milanote. Also, this application is straightforward to use through its drag and drop feature.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

The dislike thing about Milanote is its default colour scheme, which is not appealing to me. Besides, this app is not usable in offline mode.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Milanote has become a digital tool for taking notes and converting them into a visual board for better productivity and mobility.

  ### 19. An amazing must-have tool for businesses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Davis N. | Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2020

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

We really like how simple yet strong Milanote is. The layout is extremely user friendly and it allows you to create almost anything you want within a few minutes.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

When I first started using this app we didn't really like the layout of some elements, but they improved it.

As of right now the only thing that would be nice would be creating custom headings for the text, even using an H1 it there are a lot of graphics it the title could look small and out of alignment.

**Recommendations to others considering Milanote:**

keep it up

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visual communication for clients and our internal team. Milanote allows us to simply explain our ideas.

  ### 20. The tool I´ve been looking for! Milanote is awesome!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bernardo B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

Milanote is intiutive, visual, easy to use, it makes your ideas flows easily and the chrome extension does a great job collecting information for your boards. The way boards work make really easy to deep in a concept or project and gather information in different levels. You can attach any kind of documents or information and relate it with other information pieces. It´s the closest sensation to a sheet of paper in terms of how your mind feels while using it.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

Well... what not to like about this little master piece... For small teams it would be great to have monthly billing options.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brainstorming, concept development collaboration, project management, charting, and others.

  ### 21. Milanote makes our task tracking easy!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shamik S. | Asst. Marketing Manager - Digital & Social Media, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

I like the interface and the pinboard types of feature which highlighted and well-organized feature. Milanote is a new cloud-based solution therefore I can access it from any place using a mobile or desktop. It helps to Organise all your ideas in one place and also can be shared with other members. It also gives the option of selecting people who can see a particular board. And obviously it's helpful for the team of people who work from multiple locations for a same project.
Not only for the team member but it also makes Manger or lead work progress tracking system easy because you can check the progress details by looking at the dashboard. There is a free version of Milanote. Milanote does offer a free trial so, you can use and if like then can go for the licensed vesion.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

There is nothing much to dislike but we use few connection tools like zapier or Supermetrcis but I couldn't connect it there. But I found one more restriction of sign up because sometimes clients want to see the progress details but for checking that they need to create the account where we get bad feedback of it.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am working for a company as a digital marketing consultant and work from home, therefore, I wanted a solution where I can upload my daily task and the future calendar with the team and no need any manual communication for the updates.

The same bord also I shared with the client so even they can check on their own whenever they want to see the update. Also, they can give comment on any task which needs and review or changes.

So basically I can connect, track & give feedback in on Single Flatform in Milanote.

  ### 22. Finally -- a place to brainstorm my way, not someone else's!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie H. | Project Development Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

Every time I think of something I'd like to try to do on Milanote, I look, and that tool is already there. From the intuitive organizational structure of the overall application and its clean look to the fact that users have total control over how their ideas, materials, photos, notes and lists sit -- with respect to one another -- it's a phenomenally built app.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

I think the card limits built into Milanote are way too low. I understand the fact that the company wants to incentivize users to upgrade to a paid plan, but it's hard to build a steady enough pattern of usage to justify that when you can only place, effectively, 100 notes/photos/etc. in your boards before you're blocked from going further. That may sound like a lot, but for someone who uses multiple boards to organize different projects, it's not!

**Recommendations to others considering Milanote:**

Milanote has a free plan, which allows you to make up to 100 notes/photos/etc. into as many boards as you'd like, that has no time restriction. It's definitely worth at least a try!

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been trying to reorganize by to-dos, notes, project plans, and general life goals into a more streamlined, easy-to-find and easy-to-use structure that would allow me to do more in less time -- Milanote helps me do that.

  ### 23. Intimidating at first sight, but actually quite easy to learn.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eduardo C. V. | Account Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

Very visually appealing. Tons of customizations available to make any board meet specific requirements.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

With so many customization options, it's easy to get too distracted and find yourself wasting time making things "pretty" instead of getting them organized and done.

**Recommendations to others considering Milanote:**

Excellent option for teams that like organizing their projects in visually appealing ways. Perfect for visualizing workflows.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing projects that include multiple smaller projects within them, and that involve multiple stakeholders.

  ### 24. Essential for small business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tee D. | Video Producer, Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

Automatic organizing filters out those dreadful file search, everything is there, organized. I work as an intern for a marketing agency and I am impressed at how to structure the software is. Everything is laid out for and releases the stress of organizing personal files and documenting complete and noncomplete files. Provides notes to submit to other co-works to avoid emails being lost in spam. Please, it keeps track of what my team has finished or in the process working on with various projects.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

The program seldom glitches while moving files around.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving team duties, objectives, and accountability. No constant asking what needs to be done. The project is your personal working calendar that filters out projects.

  ### 25. Pinterest on steroids

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

That you can grab any inspiration that you find anywhere... internet, books, video, article and collect it all and disect in Milanote.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

Zooming is clunky. There aren't many alignment tools.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storyboarding, visual reseach. Mind mapping.

  ### 26. My dream organization software!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melanie T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2018

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

Milanote, to me, is like Pinterest, Evernote, Paper by 53 on the iPad, and my Bullet Journal had a child. I love that I can nest boards inside of boards, notes connected to other notes. You can lay things out however you feel like it, and the whole experience really feels like they had the creative person in mind.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

They are still currently developing features for the program (which operates on a polling system on the website). So I'm currently wanting to center text within my notes, or zoom in and out of my boards, or access it from an actual app on my iPad (or on my PC, which they currently do not offer YET).

**Recommendations to others considering Milanote:**

Give it a try! There's a free option with a fairly small storage space, but they also provide examples and templates for you to get a feel of the storage solution. While they are still developing new features, even in it's current state I think Milanote is one of the best softwares out there, and it's filled a niche that I've been desperately searching for.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Milanote has helped me organize my business and personal life. Though a bit on the slower side to create, I've made calendars within Milanote to plan out the month and also add photos/notes from the day. Expenses, mindmaps, creative briefs for projects. It's my favourite purchase of the year so far, and I definitely will renew year after year.

  ### 27. My beautiful ideas are saved on Milanote.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carles D. | Customer Support Analyst., Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2018

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

Milanote is very much easy to use.Not even on my first few occasions of using this program, did I encounter any difficulty.I like how I am able to add notes on my interactive board, personalize my board through customization and add images to my notes,if there is a need to.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

I will like to be able to write down notes on Milanote using my Apple Pencil as against having to always type.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Milanote to jot down information which I will need to remember much later. As one who is always coming up with Eureka moments,Milanote is the my next destination whenever a beautiful idea hits me up.

  ### 28. Great UX/UI - I can see many uses for something liek this

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

I like how easy it is to use. The quick tutorial was enough to get me started. I can tell a lot of time was spent on the simplicity of the website and I believe the clean look adds to its ease of use.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

I don't see this being very practical for myself. I can see people using this for company/school project to share ideas or maybe used as a personal vision board, but I can't see myself recommending it.

**Recommendations to others considering Milanote:**

Allow graphs and charts so it will appeal more towards business growth. Also maybe create a to do list option so I wouldn't have to build it out in a collumn myself.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can't say i'd solve any problems necessarily, but i do think it can be used as a to do list. I'm picturing "asana" but with the ability to create graphs and pie charts to show projections and growth.Again, the sharing (public and private) is a huge plus, but without the ability to build graphs and charts in it, I feel it's a bit limiting. Otherwise I would see this as just an online journal

  ### 29. Helpful and fun

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garret B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

I like that you can design your lists and agenda's in all different manners.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

Nothing sticks out. Tutorials on use would be nice.

**Recommendations to others considering Milanote:**

Going paperless is better for the environment and there is no reason you can't switch to an online task management system. Its the way of the future and it's just a simple change that will have lasting reprecussions.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an accountant I have a lot of numbers and random tasts to account for. I like to be organized otherwise I miss something and this app helps me be diligent. Our office has gone paperless and we are no longer allowed to use paper lists.

  ### 30. Note Taking for Creative Minds

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria G. | Product Designer, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2018

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

I've been using Milanote as my go to note taking tool. The UI resembles a mood-board so I am a huge fan of the layout. I really like that it supports images/video and media in general. When I'm working on a work project, it helps to have one place where i can condense all relevant sources and content.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

I often work directly on my iPad when I am on the go. Currently there is no feature that allows me to write directly in Milanote. The ability to write notes, not just typing them, would be great!

**Recommendations to others considering Milanote:**

Give it a shot. I compared many other note taking tools before I found Milanote. I've had other designers ask me what tool I am using for taking notes, especially when attending events or workshops. It's a work in progress but they have a solid product that still has a lot of potential and room to grow.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I collect a lot of user feedback during the early stages of my projects. Milanote has helped me condense a lot of the feedback and data that I get. The collaboration tools have allowed me to share a lot of findings and research with my team. Because Milanote does provide me more creative freedom in terms of how I structure the content on the page, it helps me turn all that feedback and present it in a format that is visually friendlier on the eyes, especially for non-designers.

  ### 31. Keeps me organized

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robbie P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

I like that you can add multiple layers to your notes. You can upload files, tag links, and add images.

It's very easy to be detailed.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

I think there needs to be more explanation to new users. Creating boards can be confusing.

**Recommendations to others considering Milanote:**

Milanote is an easy way to stay organized and it allows you to very detailed in your daily planning.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Digital organization! Post-It's are no longer allowed in our office and this has helped us compile our thoughts!

  ### 32. So fresh and so clean

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

I like that it's a really clean and intuitive platform to write notes. I like that it's online so it's connected to the cloud if I don't have access to my own computer. You can download it so that you can use it if you don't have access to wifi you can still edit your notes. I'm using it on a mac, so I'm not sure if there are limitations on this feature for regular PCs.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

All of the notes you can pull into your "boards" are really cool, but I just wish there were more! Like maybe a drawing tool would be helpful (although you can upload images).

**Recommendations to others considering Milanote:**

If you're looking for a really flexible note-taking software you might want to look elsewhere. There will be certain limitations to what you can do with this, but if you're a visual person I would say this is a perfect software for you!

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Note-taking, organization & check-lists

  ### 33. Awesome

It's very helpful!

  ### 34. Finally, a task organizer for my monkey mind!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike F. | Owner/ Founder/ Director of League Operations, Sports, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2017

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

The freedom to create and customize boards - including images, web links, text. You name it! Free to download. Extremely user-friendly and easy to share with collaborators.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

They (Milanote) want you to share the app with friends via a code which in turn allows you to add more boards/ space. I haven't gone over my quota just yet, but I dislike that I can't add as much or as many boards as I'd like want without having to pawn it off on my friends.

**Recommendations to others considering Milanote:**

If you are looking for a less-structured online notes app, this one is for you!

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's my 2.0 to do list. I don't have to try and fit in someone else's structured box. I get to make my own!

  ### 35. Newer user- but really enjoying MIlanote thus far

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2018

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

Milanote is a marketer/designer dream for taking notes and making mock-ups. I'm a fairly new user but have been using this product to create new campaign and content ideas for social media and email marketing. The Google Chrome plug-in also allows you to pull images off the web and integrate them in. It's great when you have an idea and do not want to forget it!

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

It was not the easiest to locate the Mac OS X app for MIlanote. It was not in the App Store. but a simple Google search and I was able to locate. Other than that, it's easy to use and awesome to work with.

**Recommendations to others considering Milanote:**

Definitely try it, it is a free app. If you're in marketing or design roles, this might be something to help organize/execute things.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving more visual ways to look at campaigns and ideas versus just jotting down notes and sketches.

  ### 36. Visual Organization for Creative People

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2018

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

I love Milanote because it allows me to pull together all my online inspiration for many sources and organize them into coherent thoughts. I use Milanote to create mood boards for book covers, organize website structure and and build blog content. It is very image friendly and that works well for me to narrow down the "feel" of each project.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

I dislike the "suggested" folder graphics... some of them make no sense or are goofy. Also, it would be nice if they had color themes and more color options for the notes and folders.

**Recommendations to others considering Milanote:**

Love it. Take the time to take the tour of the program. It is pretty user friendly and intuitive, but there are some features like the arrows that can be customized that I didn't see at first.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used Milanote to create mood boards for new books covers. It allows me to pull all my online inspiration research into one place very easily.

  ### 37. Great tool for designers or marketers to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah S. | Interactive Designer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

I like the simplicity of the options. I'm using it primarily to create moodboards and my list of to-dos each day. Other software can have too many options for the simplistic nature of creating and saving.
Displaying previews of the website page is really useful for great a visual of the pages our site has.
Creating checklists for projects.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

Aesthetically and UX/UI experience could both be improved.

**Recommendations to others considering Milanote:**

Try it out! I think you'll find some value that other tools haven't achieved yet.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating moodboards for projects, planning website journeys, sharing information.

  ### 38. Good, but could use some work.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Milanote?**

I like the endless amount of capabilities this program has. The ability to add arrows and other creative tools is fun as well.

**What do you dislike about Milanote?**

As much as I like being able to move boards around anywhere I want, I would like for an option where the positioning of the boards could be locked. Almost the way trello looks.

**What problems is Milanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nothing at the moment yet. I definitely see the benefits of being able to add images and upload files.

  ### 39. Milanote is fun and user friendly!
