At our hospital, besides Patient and Encounter of course, we use Risk Management and Focus Studies along with a number of interfaced modules, including Surgery, Drug Therapy, and many custom Focus Studies. What impresses us most is the extreme power of the interface processor, as it quickly takes in hundreds of records every minute all day and night. What makes the product so powerful, however, is the ability to connect a wide variety of quality and safety information to so many clinical and demographic attributes for every associated patient Encounter. Finally, and equally valuable, is the on-board reporting engine, ReporTrack, that allows us to build scalable and secure data sources. for any 3rd-party reporting tool in known use, to include Crystal Reports, MS-Access and Excel, and Tableau, to name a few we use here. We use hundreds of Worklists every day to manage the throughput of Patient Safety events, Peer Review concerns, and to manage our regulatory requirements. **What do you dislike about Midas Health Analytics?** We would like to see Midas Care Management evolve more quickly to adapt to the rapidly changing healthcare marketplace. We are concerned that ReporTrack has not changed much at all in over 10 years, during which time we would have expected new features, such as custom-code formula design, Group Headers, custom criteria prompts, and fsster overall performance in the report definition feature, among many we need to see. **What problems is Midas Health Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?** Midas Risk Management is our Patient Safety reporting system, and we are very satisfied with the product's ability to halp us manage our high volume of data entry, event throughput, and reporting. **Official Response from Alex Bradley:** > Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Midas Health Analytics. It is simple to use and very forgiving of errors. We are easily able to modify the created databases to allow for the addition or removal of questions, depending on guidelines set by CMS. Reports can be compiled monthly, quarterly, or annually very easily. **What do you dislike about Midas Health Analytics?** There is a link on the Midas+ homepage that connects to the Conduent website which allows for the user to access CMS resources and guidelines. Unfortunately, this site has been glitchy and at times I have been unable to print the necessary documents and/or sign up for web-based training. **Recommendations to others considering Midas Health Analytics:** The feature that allows the user to enroll in webinars for training has been difficult to use. **What problems is Midas Health Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?** The Conduent site has made it possible for the organization to stay current with CMS measures and guidelines. I appreciate the integration of the IQVIA site into Midas+ for stroke data abstraction.
