Some of the downstream impacts of design choices (e.g., selecting a particular forecast method, what a specific column means) could be explained in more detail. I like how the system is completely integrated, where one database manages all reporting, and updating that database automatically updates all other reports. We also implemented a direct GL import that means that the system is always live for these reports and is now a direc "skin" of our GL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The reporting feature doesn't really have an intuitive wizard that a layperson can use, and so reports have to be made in an IT environment and then touched by users. The breadth of the canned reporting solves most of these issues, but there's always a few holes that must be filled by IT/DSS-type staff. It is easy to customize reports for different criteria using the built-in filters and to save them for future use. There is a report for everything so it is easy to work with operations and various stakeholders and provide the right data at the right time. The process of building budgets between Finance and operations is efficient and streamlined. Some features within the budget plans is a bit clunky with multiple pop-ups and unnecessary clicks, as well as the need to clear pre-populated data. There are performance issues with the speed of the SaaS application which we are not sure if internal or external, but it sometimes takes 5+ minutes to open a budget plan file - we have been having these issues for years without resolution and it is very frustrating at times. AXIOM has completely transformed our Budgeting Process and has cut it in half.

The beauty of AXIOM is how flexible and customizable it is, which allows us to automate many processes within AXIOM that was not possible in our previous Budgeting Software.

We utilize AXIOM not only for General Ledger Reporting, but many other custom ad-hoc reports since AXIOM has the ability to create custom SQL tables and imports to get different subsets of data into AXIOM and create reports off of that data.

AXIOM does not allow you to call and speak to someone directly as they prefer email correspondence, which can be frustrating, especially with urgent issues.
