MentorPRO is an evidence-based mentoring platform for universities and youth-serving nonprofits, built by mentoring researchers to run, support, and measure peer mentoring programs. Co-founded by Dr. Jean Rhodes, director of the Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring at UMass Boston, MentorPRO puts decades of mentoring research into a platform programs can run day to day. Colleges and universities use it for peer mentoring that supports first-year retention, first-generation students, and TRIO programs. Nonprofits, Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies, and workforce development programs use it to train, support, and keep their mentors engaged. Key features include secure one-to-one and group messaging, research-based matching, goal setting and check-ins, MentorAI (a research-grounded co-pilot for mentors), and MentorPRO Academy training developed with UMass Boston. Program staff get a dashboard for engagement, outcomes, and grant reporting.
