What do you like best about Mapzania?

The ease of implementation and to spatially enable any of our existing web applications with minimal effort. Another good aspect is the ability to produce good looking maps in a short amount of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Mapzania:

This product is a must-try if you have any .NET web application that needs to be map-enabled in a short amount of time. This provides a very cost-effective, well supported, powerful solution compared to more established brands and takes away most of the heavy lifting from the developer making it very non-GIS developer friendly. "Drop in mapping framework for your application"

What do you like best about Mapzania?

Mapzania makes it extremely easy to create an application to display complex maps. The "Getting started guide" can take you from 0 to maps in less than an hour. The "drop and go" feature for adding geospatial data is excellent, you can just drop a new shape file/kml/etc in your solution and it can be displayed on your map at the next run.

* The built-in visual map styler is very intuitive and allows you to compose maps in the browser.

* The documentation is excellent.

* The MZ JavaScript library provides great features to work with geospatial data in the browser and hosts a powerful query engine to filter and aggregate data.

* Ease of use. Install a NuGet package, add the map component to your website, add some data and run.

* Very few dependencies on other javascript components

* Easily configured maps and layers.

What do you dislike about Mapzania?

Some of the more complex configuration options available are not documented. Since the configuration files are very easy to understand and customize, this is not a huge problem. The Mapzania team is also very responsive with queries on how to solve more complex requirements using their product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
