What is particularly useful is the ability to record GPS points, lines, or polygons of areas of interest such as specific vegetation types, or rare animal observations. **What do you dislike about MapItFast?** Althogh MapItFast is designed mostly to export data in less anallytical ready formats like shapefile or GPX my team’s preferred GIS analytical tool. This may lead to errors, as well as slow down the work related to analysis and data interpretation. **What problems is MapItFast solving and how is that benefiting you?** MapItFast solves difficult field data capture challenges by providing much easier on-site data collection tools. The app also comes with an easy to navigate design and an option for working offline thus enabling the entry of data in remote areas. ### 2. These basic rendering attributes, that too with the one-tap mapping function for the points, lines and polygons makes data collection easy compared to the conventional ways. **What do you dislike about MapItFast?** The primary reason why I call this tool subpar is that there aren’t more options for direct exporting into the formats such as CSV or Excel where processing the data requires several steps before getting the data ready for further analysis. **What problems is MapItFast solving and how is that benefiting you?** MapItFast does away with the routine process of having to record data and the use of cumbersome paper maps at field. This leads to a faster collection of data, better accuracy and declined human intervention. ### 3. The one-click mapping feature to send points, lines, and polygons is incredibly easy to use whether the user has basic or no GIS background at all. **What do you dislike about MapItFast?** When it comes to offline data editing, MapItFast only seems to have the most rudimentary of capabilities. When logged out, a team member cannot modify the items already placed on the map or create new ones. **What problems is MapItFast solving and how is that benefiting you?** MapItFast can do away with map enabling software as well as paper works on field reports. The one-tap solutions make it easier to gather data, and cloud deployment provides all relevant data to each participant simultaneously. ### 4. We used it on Android and iOS both for plotting maps in field. **What do you dislike about MapItFast?** The UI - UX can be improved a bit. Other than this there is nothing to complain about. **What problems is MapItFast solving and how is that benefiting you?** The vast collection of APIs helped us connecting to our existing databases with ease.
