Not user friendly **Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Dustin T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023 **What do you like best about LOCATE Inventory?** The best part of LOCATE was a starting point for getting a handle on our inventory levels and budgeting. It also gave us an insight of what categories were critical in our process and where we could improve. **What do you dislike about LOCATE Inventory?** Interacting with LOCATE was clunky at best. There was no smooth process within the program. Any changes required two steps backward before you could continue with whichever method you worked with. Making quick or line-item changes to any order or product was nearly impossible and eventually became more of a nuisance than any help. **What problems is LOCATE Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** NONE, we tried to make the program work for us, but in the end, it did not have the capabilities we were looking for. This resulted in a lot of confusion or miss-placed data, ultimately we dropped the program. ### 2. It's like the modules were built in layman's terms but still worked in the form it should. For example, like the inventory adjustments were built and coded in the form of +1 -Minus and the location assignment were on the same page so it wasn't a hassle or confusing. **What do you dislike about LOCATE Inventory?** That they sold out to xero and seems like xero will not be continuing Locates software. If locate was still around we would still be using it and recommending it to others to use for a WMS. **What problems is LOCATE Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** Inventory and part tracking as well as simple sales modules. With locate we can track an item all the way from creation to it finally being sold to a customer and even from a customer return. ### 3. Great features for integration! The best is that the shopify connection is 100% accurate. We collect the products and set them into the software with the classic barcode scanner. This works properly, the products often just need one scan and they are loaded, mostly also with the product picture. **What do you dislike about LOCATE Inventory?** The mobile version has less functions, so a accurate tax group is not visible.
