What do you like best?

It has everything in one place. no need to be redirected to other pages... it has been a very good experience all the way from implementation until now. Very receptive to feedback and are willing to work with us on finding a solution to any problems we have. Constantly trying to make the product better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Reporting, workflows, conditions/tasks, notifications, and audit could all be better. More granular control over the permissions and accesses to certain pages and functions in the system. Standard consumer portal is very dated Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

nothing at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

This system is pretty user-friendly and the UI is pretty intuitive. It's great for smaller mortgage companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Since the system is pretty antiquated (in that there's quite a few functions that the program does NOT do) - it's really only optimal for smaller mortgage companies. I would NOT recommend this for a larger national lender. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

In a smaller mortgage company setting - LendingQB is a good option because it's simple to use. However, you don't have the option of importing docs from a third-party (like EllieMae or Blend) - which is why I wouldn't recommend this program for large companies. For small companies, it fits with a slower paced environment since it's simple to use and easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

It's a more primitive system, so it's pretty easy to navigate and utilize for mortgages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It's almost too antiquated. It's slower than other systems and doesn't integrate as much information and outside products (FHA, VA, appraisal, titles, etc) into the system itself. There's still quite a bit that has to be ordered outside of LQB. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Be ready to continue using additional outside systems to get the full utilization needed to do mortgage loans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I like the stored docs best. I love how more than one person can be in the same file and make changes. I found the individual screens very productive. Drawing docs was easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I dislike the cost to change anything or customize certain screens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The cost to customize anything is a bit steep. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Problems - tracking underwriting touches and communication just between processor and underwriter.

Benefits - drawing docs / printing docs / signing docs and sending them without having to print them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The LendingQB interface is highly customizable, allowing organizations to build to their specific needs. I also appreciate that you can select favorites of the tabs you visit most frequently as this helps cut down time searching for the right section. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

What I dislike so far is that everything seems to open in a different window. The main screen is one window, the loan screen is another, and the documents list is another. This does help with multitasking but can be confusing when clicking around windows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We had been using a very old lending database that was not able to keep up with our demands. LendingQB is ever-developing to keep us up to date with the best lending tech. It also is easier to learn and navigate which saves time for current employees as well as when training new hires. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I like how they have web services that we, as developers, have access to. They make it quite easy to Authenticate and then create a lead/loan within only a few calls. We've benefited by being able to use their Web Services to integrate into our company's custom internal software. Over the years, we've been able to build software in a few different languages while still being able to hit their Web Services Endpoints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I really dislike how their WCF Web Service is set up, in terms of naming conventions. We set our applications up using industry best practices, but its hard to keep it that way when they have some methods (which end up in the build path) that are around 80 characters long. When we're already multiple layers deep, it hits the path too long exception. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you're going to use LendingQB, just make sure you are prepared to run into a few issues while trying to develop with it. (If that's your goal) Otherwise, it may also still be a bit of a pain to try and get the XML formatted in the necessary way to send it in to create a lead. I don's actually manage the submitted leads, but from what I hear, they really like using the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We're using it to take mortgage leads for our company and other companies that would like us to service their members' mortgages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Easy to use. Data is updated throughout the loan. It flows well starting with the loan officer all the way until the closing package is sent Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Some data does not pull correctly onto our documents. We use ids for our doc system and they do not always map correctly from one to the other. We continue to have rounding issues and no way to manually fix them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Overall good. My only compliant is some of the mapping issues and not always pulling the correct info into our doc system Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Browser-based software that is accessible from any computer. Multiple users are able to work on a file simultaneously. The fee audit, borrower-responsible fees, and changed circumstance screens are all helpful in reviewing disclosures and fees for compliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Everything is completely customizable, to the point where the implementation staff cannot tell you what best practice would be in any instance. Because it's not used by many companies, it's difficult to get other opinions, or find anyone who is experienced in using the program. The majority of the support staff seems to know how the software works, but not much about mortgage origination. It's a little too open-ended for a company without a very clear blueprint of the workflow they want to implement without a lot of trial and error. The interface is not aesthetically pleasing, and the document upload and reporting functions are, in a word, clunky. While the interface is deceptively simple, the buildout offers too many choices and not enough direction. When problems arise, it amounts to a lot of finger-pointing by LendingQB and whichever vendor's integrated services are not working, with the lender acting as the go-between. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Go in with a very clear picture of what you want the system to look like, and start simply and add on from there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The pricing engine is fully integrated, and maintenance is prompt and handled almost exclusively by the support staff, which is kind of a relief after using many other systems that offered very little support. The pricing engine also measures parameters on a much more granular level, and is very customizable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
