The format was "LANDR-[track number] - [Song Title]-Balanced-Medium" on every single track. I am a Studio Pro subscriber distributing a commercial album. These files were not usable as delivered. I had to manually correct the metadata on all 11 tracks using a third-party tool before I could submit to my distributor. This was never disclosed anywhere in the service description. It is not a feature. It is their branding being placed on work I paid for. I opened support ticket #2070270. Here is exactly what happened: - Response #1: Told me it's automatic and suggested I buy their DAW plugin. - Response #2: Explained the difference between vinyl and CD masters — completely irrelevant to my issue — then offered 15% off future LANDR products. No refund. No fix. No acknowledgment of the core problem. **What problems is LANDR solving and how is that benefiting you?** They aren’t solving a problem. Their service actually creates additional work for me, and I end up having to resolve the software issues on my own, which takes time. ### 2. It’s the only platform I use to master and release my music under the name KING KANG, and I’ve published over 30 tracks through it without a single issue. The AI mastering sounds surprisingly professional. It gives my mixes the loudness and polish I’d expect from a studio engineer. I also love that everything’s connected: mastering, distribution and analytics all live in one dashboard. Uploading and pushing my songs to Spotify, Apple Music and every other platform is as simple as clicking a few buttons. The interface feels intuitive, fast, and designed for creators who’d rather focus on making music than wrestling with file formats and technical setups. **What do you dislike about LANDR?** The main thing I’d improve is flexibility in the mastering process. The AI does a great job most of the time but occasionally I wish there were more manual options for shaping the EQ or compression in finer detail. The turnaround for support can also be a bit slow during high-traffic release days which can be nerve-wracking when you’re trying to drop a song on a deadline. Still, the pros heavily outweigh the cons. It’s reliable, consistent and continues to improve with every update. **What problems is LANDR solving and how is that benefiting you?** LANDR completely solved my problem of having to rely on multiple platforms and engineers just to get my music finished and released. Before using it, I was bouncing between different mastering plugins, struggling with engineering and then switching over to a separate distributor to get my songs live. Now it’s all in one place. I can upload a track, get a professional-grade master in minutes and send it straight to streaming services without ever leaving the site/app. As an independent artist, that’s been a huge benefit. It saves me time, cuts out the middlemen and gives me full control over release schedules and royalties. LANDR also gives consistent sound quality across all my tracks, which is important for keeping my brand as KING KANG sounding cohesive.
