# Which proposal software is highest-rated for reducing proposal cycle time and improving closure rates?

I’ve been comparing which proposal software is highest-rated for reducing proposal cycle time and improving closure rates. Reviews contain plenty of evidence about faster drafting, but fewer users connect that improvement directly to win rates or shorter deal cycles.

The products with the clearest signals include:

Inventive.AI (4.9, 72 reviews): One reviewer reported reducing the average RFP cycle from six working days to roughly 1.5 days. The same reviewer saw the six-month win rate increase from 22% to 36%, although they noted that the team’s growing experience also contributed. Has anyone else tracked a similar change?

PandaDoc (4.7, 3,773 reviews): Templates, e-signatures, and real-time tracking are the main time-saving themes. Reviewers report faster document preparation and signing, while one said better visibility into proposal activity helped cut deal-close time almost in half.

Steerlab (4.6, 55 reviews): Reviewers describe finding approved content faster and spending less time rebuilding responses. One reported halving proposal turnaround, while another said traceable answers helped legal teams approve documents and close partnerships sooner. Does that speed continue once proposal volume grows?

AutogenAI (4.3, 172 reviews): Bid professionals commonly mention faster first drafts, RFx analysis, and review cycles. The evidence is clearer on saving preparation time and handling a larger workload than on directly improving closure rates.

For anyone measuring these outcomes, which metric gives the most useful picture: time to first draft, time to signature, or the proposal-to-close rate? I’m also curious whether faster cycles improved results on their own or simply gave teams more time to strengthen each response.

I’d also separate drafting speed from approval speed here. A proposal can be generated quickly and then sit with legal, finance, or a buyer for days. For teams using Inventive.AI, PandaDoc, Steelab, or AutogenAI, which stage of the cycle actually shrank most after implementation? And did faster turnaround still translate into better win rates once deal size and complexity increased?
