What do you like best about Labii ELN & LIMS?

Labii ELN & LIMS makes the organization of the lab much more transparent and efficient compared to spreadsheets and hand-written lab books. It is definitely worth the extra energy you have to put into it at the beginning to set up your system. In addition, good documentation also adds value to our products. What do you dislike about Labii ELN & LIMS?

What problems is Labii ELN & LIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

We wanted to implement an ELN in a start-up company so we were looking for a program which is not too comprehensive but reasonably priced. Nevertheless, we were happy to find out that Labii ELN & LIMS is much more than just an ELN. It has replaced not only hand-written lab books but also several spreadsheets at our company. What do you like best about Labii ELN & LIMS?

The design. Most of other ELN vendors I tried are like from the 90s, ugly design and difficult to use. The interface of Labii ELN is beautiful and easy to find buttons for my tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It does not have a free version. Other vendors are usually free for academic. But free is not an option for Labii. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you need an ELN and LIMS that can meet your current and future requirement, Labii ELN & LIMS is the software to go with. What problems is Labii ELN & LIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

We transferred all paper lab notebook to ELN. Many scientists were hesitated to move to ELN, they were worried additional work might be introduced. After training and a few practices, they all switched, because the usage is as simple as sending an email. One huge benefit is we are able to track the research progress more closely, we are able to oversee how many experiments have not signed, etc. Our patent attorney is also happy about the process because she is able to references the experiments more easily.
