QBench is an excellent everyday tool for organizing and managing information for our lab. It makes data sorting, filtering, and sample management effortless. This helps streamline workflows and reduce human error. Tracking data is quick, reliable, and efficient, and the user-friendly interface makes it a joy to use. The UI looks modern and is appealing to the eye. It has many highly flexible tools that can simplify processes. Finally, their customer support/technical account manager team went above and beyond. When we wanted to implement new features, they listened carefully and did what they could to accommodate what we were asking for. While QBench is effective, there are a few small downsides. Occasionally, it experiences lag and slows down, which can be frustrating. Additionally, some features can appear overly complex, causing confusion for users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

After messing around with QBench, I found out there were more things I can do to make it more user friendly. At first, we had a lot of things on our reports that we didn’t need, but never realized we can actually remove/edit them. It feels nice to be able to make it how I want it to be. QBench offers a lot of different tools and customizations that allows you to configure the system to whatever best fits your needs. The customer service team in particular is excellent and often goes above and beyond to help answer questions and work collaboratively on solutions. There are rarely some cases where a feature or functionality such as certain field customizations are not available, however QBench is constantly updating and improving and more than once those desired features were later implemented soon after providing feedback. It is not something wrong with QBench, but an implementation critical aspect. It needs to be very well defined from the beginning, as some features are hard to change once the software has been configured because the relations between databases are already established. QBench has been instrumental for out lab, allowing us to generate custom protocols and reports with a sleek and modern user interface. The filter tools are excellent, and creating custom fields is a breeze. The report templates and automations are also extremely easy to configure and modify.

Being a newer product, some more features and functionality are missing compared to other LIMS software on the market, that being said the team has always been willing to improve the software and add features as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

QBench’s internal logic is still test-centric, while we operate around sample batches and multi-layered orders that creates friction in high-volume workflows. The reporting system remains difficult to customize for client-facing outputs, so had to implement our own report system to attach within Qbench. Documentation is minimal for advanced customization, which slows internal automation. Scaling to hundreds of samples per week (with linked sample IDs, customer work zones, and test types) is cumbersome. What stands out most is the QBench team itself. From our first sales call through implementation and ongoing support, they’ve been incredibly responsive, patient, and genuinely invested in helping us succeed. They even built new features based directly on our requests — which says a lot about their commitment to their customers. Honestly, very little. Because our lab has some highly specific workflows, there were moments early on where we needed to fine-tune certain configurations, but the QBench team was always quick to help or develop new solutions.
