"A great product with a great support team."
What do you like best about QBench?

QBench has been instrumental for out lab, allowing us to generate custom protocols and reports with a sleek and modern user interface. The filter tools are excellent, and creating custom fields is a breeze. The report templates and automations are also extremely easy to configure and modify.

October 2025 update: Since launching, QBench has continued to maintain their excellent customer service, helping us further the reporting capabilities of our lab and track KPI's relating our day-to-day operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QBench?

Being a newer product, some more features and functionality are missing compared to other LIMS software on the market, that being said the team has always been willing to improve the software and add features as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Current User: Strong Support for Clients, But Workflow Limits Remain"
What do you like best about QBench?

Continued strong customer support, Built in Client Portal works reliably for result access & notifications, Recent uptime and responsiveness have been solid Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QBench?

QBench’s internal logic is still test-centric, while we operate around sample batches and multi-layered orders that creates friction in high-volume workflows. The reporting system remains difficult to customize for client-facing outputs, so had to implement our own report system to attach within Qbench. Documentation is minimal for advanced customization, which slows internal automation. Scaling to hundreds of samples per week (with linked sample IDs, customer work zones, and test types) is cumbersome. Support is helpful, but a more flexible data structure and stronger reporting tools are critical to long-term fit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Modern, Flexible, and Backed by an Incredible Team"
What do you like best about QBench?

What stands out most is the QBench team itself. From our first sales call through implementation and ongoing support, they’ve been incredibly responsive, patient, and genuinely invested in helping us succeed. They even built new features based directly on our requests — which says a lot about their commitment to their customers. The platform is modern, flexible, and intuitive, covering all the functionality our lab needs while remaining easy to adapt as we grow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QBench?

Honestly, very little. Because our lab has some highly specific workflows, there were moments early on where we needed to fine-tune certain configurations, but the QBench team was always quick to help or develop new solutions. Any challenges we encountered turned into collaborative improvements, which is exactly what you want from a software partner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"R&D lab implementation"
What do you like best about QBench?

QBench is a very well organized system with a good level of customizability. It is easy to get help with fast turnaround for any issues that come up. It is the best LIMS solution I have seen for a company that has varied use cases in different areas, including general R&D. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QBench?

The visual editor for generating report templates is difficult to work with. Using the code generator ended up being easier, but still time consuming as I did not expect to need coding skills for the project. Online guides/documentation is useful but lacking in a few areas so continued improvement would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive, Customizable Platform Backed by Excellent Support"
What do you like best about QBench?

The platform is evolving, with new features added regularly. The customer's input helps maximize the utility of enhancements and continuous progress. Support leadership and teams are highly capable and professional. They do not upsell customers with features and modules that are not necessary. It is a platform that has demonstrated agility and a high likelihood of avoiding redundancy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QBench?

Capabilities to support patient-centric preparations for claims management are limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QBench?

Very clean layout and easy to use. Jessica Sprouse is a very helpful technical manager. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QBench?

Not being able to move downward when entering sample information. Having to click on each box to enter data or hit tab multiple times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very customizable LIMS, not very intuitive to use"
What do you like best about QBench?

The amount of flexibility, customization, and features are the main draws for us, as we use a wide variety of test methods and workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QBench?

As the software has to start out as a one size fits all template, the workflow isn't very intuitive and doesn't begin as a good translation of our internal processes. This is an inherent trade-off with a high level of customization; while it was very confusing to learn at the beginning, once we got the hang of it our needs were met very nicely Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"QBench made going paperless easy and enjoyable."
What do you like best about QBench?

QBench makes it easy to keep track of all our testing. We were able to build our first completely digital system to manage tests in our lab in a way that followed our process as it was, but encouraged some more efficient changes to how we handle testing every day. The switch was smooth for our technicians and customers, and every piece of our daily work flow is captured in one convenient location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QBench?

There was a lot to learn when adopting QBench, and it can seem overwhelming if you aren't familiar. There are so many options visible it can take a while to really feel comfortable navigating within the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible LIMS for a Rapidly Evolving Industry"
What do you like best about QBench?

QBench offers an easy-to-understand user experience that sits on top of what can be a system that is as simple or as complex as you want it to be. Due to its customization options, the sky truly is the limit. Our industry is one that is evolving quickly, with rules and regulations changing seemingly every week. QBench offers us the flexibility and the confidence to adapt to these changes and not be "locked in" to a system that quickly is obsoleted. There are also a number of features and modules we find useful including Billing and Quality.

The customer support during the implementation process also made me feel "taken care of" and helped expedite the integration of the system into our laboratory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QBench?

The customization options of QBench can be both a blessing and a hindrance. Depending on the design and requirements of your test workflows and your programming abilities, QBench can be a challenge at first to get working for your specific needs. The no-code/low-code worksheets are a marginal improvement on the coded versions, but still command a steep learning curve. That beign said I believe the team continues to release updates and new features to aid in the adoption of the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Qbench is great but could be quicker, more intuitive, and a bit better."
What do you like best about QBench?

Qbench puts all our sample and LIMS needs in one website. It lets me filter through various tests and due dates which is very helpful for our use case. Also it very easy to make filters, input results, and generate COAs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QBench?

I think that it could be a lot faster when loading filters, searches, saving, generating COA's, and etc. It takes a few seconds to load anything and sometimes longer. Also the search function could be more intuitive. Typing a sample number, for example, and hitting Enter takes you to another page instead of taking you directly to the sample. It is faster to type on the search bar, wait for the drop down results, and click the sample number on the result than just pressing enter.

Also, in the filters menu, when selecting pre-defined date, there are many useful filters such as Today, this week, etc. but there is not a "Tomorrow" filter. Which is what is most useful in my lab as we do samples the day before they are due. Also once it hits 5pm or 4pm depending on the DST, the Today filter starts showing samples due the next day. I think it should be enabled to show current date until 11:59 pm local time (PDT). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
