Keboola Pricing FAQs

Is Keboola free, or does it offer a free trial?

Yes. According to G2 data, Keboola offers a free plan with limited features. Users can upgrade to paid plans for additional capabilities. Visit the seller's official pricing page to compare plan options and features.

Who is Keboola pricing best suited for?

Keboola's pricing structure is best suited for mid-market organizations — G2 reviewers from marketing, financial services, media, and IT sectors in the 51–1,000 employee range dominate positive feedback, citing strong ROI from replacing fragmented pipelines with one governed platform. Small businesses benefit most from Keboola's free tier for prototyping and low-volume ETL, especially given the pay-as-you-go credit model at $0.14 per minute. Keboola's Growth Team plan targets high-growth and enterprise teams needing compliance, multi-project architecture, and dedicated support. G2 reviewers consistently note Keboola enables small data teams — sometimes just one or two people — to manage enterprise-scale data operations, making team size a stronger fit signal than company revenue.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Keboola?

Keboola's free tier provides 60 computation minutes monthly on an extra-small Snowflake/BigQuery backend, covering core ETL capabilities including 700+ connectors, SQL/Python/R transformations, scheduling, CLI/API access, and SSO — but limits Data Apps access and excludes enterprise governance features. Keboola's Growth Team plan adds CDC and data streaming, SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and HIPAA compliance, SAML/Active Directory, audit centre, per-user rights, multi-project architecture, hybrid/private cloud deployment, dynamic backend sizing, full AI tooling including MCP Server support, and unlimited Streamlit Data Apps. G2 reviewers on the free tier highlight the generous connector access and sandbox environments as strong prototyping tools before committing to a paid contract.

Is Keboola considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers give Keboola a 4.5/5 average rating, signaling strong overall satisfaction, but pricing concerns surface repeatedly across segments. Multiple G2 users — particularly small businesses and mid-market teams — flag Keboola's pricing as ambitious or expensive relative to scale, with one hospitality reviewer noting they migrated to Microsoft Fabric at a fraction of the cost. A marketing reviewer explicitly calls it "very expensive compared to similarly scaled solutions." That said, high-rating reviewers consistently cite time savings, reduced engineering headcount needs, and 700+ native connectors as justifying the cost. Keboola's pricing delivers clearest value for teams replacing multiple tools with one governed platform, but cost optimization remains difficult at scale.

"Nice UI and Support, but Limited for Advanced ETL and Performance"
3/5
What do you like best about Keboola?

I mean, it’s a cool toy for getting a feel for what a normal ETL might look like, and the ephemeral space concept seems quite nice. On the other hand, it also seems to make it harder to implement more advanced ETLs, like SCD and similar patterns. UI/UX is nice, however the orchestration seems counterintuitive. Performance also is at low level. Integrations are fine. Pricing / ROI is something other take care of, but I've heard a lot from them that the prices are not so good compared to other companies. AI analysis of logs was okay, however I haven't found other pros. Support was always supportive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keboola?

Mostly the fact, that as a SDE I was limited with basically everything and have to think about a lot of workaround in terms of scheduling multicloud tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
