What do you like best about Kaiten?

After the introduction of Kaiten into our company (a SMM agency with a staff of 27 people), things went up, there is no more confusion in responsible, tasks are not forgotten, employees do not overwork, in general, everything is transparent and efficient. "Flexible Board Development & Card Creation Through Kaiten for our Project Management"

What do you like best about Kaiten?

We conveniently work in our Scrum Sprints and leverage the comfort & flexibility of Kanban boards with Kaiten. It offers an excellent workaround to manage a few of our workflow deficiencies in some situations. What do you dislike about Kaiten?

Since it utilizes browser-based utility, we experience slowness and glitches while working throughout the day for our project activities. Few of the reporting tools for chart representation are limited and less intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kaiten solving and how is that benefiting you?

We develop our Kanban Board and Kanban Cards using Kaiten for our project workflow. Its interface is appealing and neat, so it's easy to create our action items in its workspace. We can assign one card to multiple team members, and changing it also is quick. When we work in different sub-projects, we don't have to swap it to a separate page as Kaiten offers compatibility to operate multiple projects on the same page thanks to its Compact Mode. What do you like best about Kaiten?

Unlimited types of cards with checklists, timesheets, estimation in any value I want. WIP limits per columns, subcolumns, lanes, even cells. Different teams' desks in one PMs place, cards hierarchy, cards dependencies and blocking. Reporting and Analytics. No add-ons or pligins required, everything is included in tariff. Recommendations to others considering Kaiten:

If you're looking for software where you can build waterfall processes as well as SCRUM and Kanban and if you want to improve processes and "get things done. in time" - Kaiten is a perfect choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kaiten solving and how is that benefiting you?

I've been at project management for over a decade and used tens of solutions for task tracking and management. Since 2018 I started using Kaiten, firstly for small teams in minor projects and eventually now we use it for all the projects' portfolio of the whole group of companies.

The main thing is that usually I had to modify the workflow, sometimes had to invest a lot of time and additional resources (plugins, add-ons etc.), sometimes even had to change the workflow, to fit the team's workflow and software workflow. Kaiten is (as on an opposite to other "bug-tracking DNA" solutions) is a fully Kanban DNA. It allows to quickly begin using the desks and work in YOUR workflow, no matter if it's a Waterfall, SCRUM, or any Agile approach. Moreover, I may combine approaches without modifying workflow, pure kanban+Scrum in dev. team? Sure, NP, no customization required.
