## K3 Reviews
  ### 1. K3 gives plenty of low-code ETL tools for quick data integration with AWS Redshift using K3 Adaptors

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meghna S. | Cloud Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2022

**What do you like best about K3?**

It's easy to set up an organizational account in K3, define our data source & destination, and make use of K3's data models to mandate our customer data flow. It's as simple as that because K3 takes the efforts & time off the developers so that we can focus more on the transformation of data. It facilitates seamless integration so that we don't have to worry about conjunction issues or code complexities.

**What do you dislike about K3?**

There is a downside as the K3 platform doesn't support a few of our client's on-premise requirements. We encountered security issues and we had to switch to our legacy tools for business continuity. K3 platform is suitable for our Amazon Redshift as it covers our data orchestration & comprehensive ETL demands.

**What problems is K3 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

K3 manages our Amazon Redshift through its Change Data Capture (CDC) automation. Whenever changes are made in our transactional database, CDC accurately detects these changes and provides new details to our production environment. K3 also simplifies the pitstops involved with data discretion, batch replication & bulk records management with its custom framework. K3 adaptors are key for our data integration with AWS Redshift & its overview of various aspects such as data evaluation, coordinating tasks, providing actionable insights and generating easy-to-follow reports are remarkable.

  ### 2. Incredible Company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel M. | VP of Sales and Logistics, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2022

**What do you like best about K3?**

When I approached Gordon with how to integrate my outdated software with a better solution, he was with me all the way.

**What do you dislike about K3?**

Daily Maintenance- this is due to my own programming.

**What problems is K3 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazing support system. It seems there is always someone available to help with an issue.

  ### 3. Big data analytics for performance marketing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2021

**What do you like best about K3?**

It is really powerful, yet easy to use. The data flow visualization is a huge help for multiple data types that need to be mapped properly. Their support is excellent and our team is more productive because their online resources are well put together.

**What do you dislike about K3?**

I would say we didn't really have a major downside.

**Recommendations to others considering K3:**

It is a great low code solution for data prep and integration compared to a lot of other alternatives in this crowded space.

**What problems is K3 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our agency was needed to consolidate data from Google Analytics, Adwords, Salesforce, and another third-party SaaS platform all related to a single account and roll up into a report for company-specific attribution data. K3 enabled us to import data from Salesforce CRM directly along with our agency's ad management platform. This was much less of a hassle since the whole process with super intuitive and we watched a few videos and figured it out with the help of the K3 support team - which was equally awesome. We got the whole project done in less than 2 weeks and we didn't have to get any support from in-house IT staff since all of the data was manageable without code.

  ### 4. K3 Data Pipes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom C. | Sr Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2021

**What do you like best about K3?**

K3 is great. We use the data rules engine all the time. Its fast. Easy for users to setup on their own without IT team. Rules engine is probably the best feature. What is really useful for K3 is that a lot of ETL should not be done in code. Especially the simple stuff. It makes for a maintenance headache. We also run K3 on prem an on cloud but i dont see cloud option.

**What do you dislike about K3?**

Nothing much. Maybe more visualization around data orchestration. But that is a nice to have.

**Recommendations to others considering K3:**

K3 has really good support. They understand enterprise complex situation.

**What problems is K3 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We replaced a lot of custom and SSIS data flows with K3. We have some sligtly complicated data flows that are very specific to our business. We thought that self code was the only way but we got K3 and team to tackle it just fine. We then began adding more systems and data processes.

  ### 5. K3 Is Great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim S. | Spartan Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2021

**What do you like best about K3?**

K3 is really easy to use in terms of connecting to different data sources. We've used different tools and K3 has some pretty great connectors. K3 has the ability to grab data from SFTP files, databases and APIs, blend them together. Intuitive ETL through mappings and rules. K3's data rules engine is a must. The other thing is that K3 actually has support. Like people you can call that understand complex enterprise data issues.

**What do you dislike about K3?**

I suppose there are cheaper tools. I mean if your needs are pretty light this might be overkill. But if you have complex enterprise scenarios then you should at least look at K3.

**Recommendations to others considering K3:**

K3 should be on your list of vendors to look at.

**What problems is K3 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our clients we help them get data out of their enterprise systems into clean data lakes like Snowflake. If the scenario calls for ongoing data feeds we use K3. The Broadpeak team is used to working out very complex enterprise scenarios.

  ### 6. Enterprise ETL, Connections, Big Data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leslie M. | Founder, Instructor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2021

**What do you like best about K3?**

K3 is easy to use. You don't have to wait for a developer to get data. Configuring connections in the user interface is very straighforward. Rules engine is intuitive. If you have a tough problem the Broadpeak team is actually very responsive. THis allows us to decrease the overall workload on IT team.

**What do you dislike about K3?**

I dont have any dislikes for k3. I've used it in overall Business Response architectures.

**What problems is K3 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ive had companies that have different data sets. Lots of enterprise applicatoins and files. THese all need to be brought together so we can do meaninful reports on them through tableau. You woud think this is easy but its not. K3 allows us to do all of that without having to write a bunch of code.

  ### 7. K3 System - ETL Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruce T. | President & Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2021

**What do you like best about K3?**

The K3 System is a highly intuitive and easy-to-use ETL platform. The K3 System requires no client-side code, and the platform is a SAAS that works exceptionally well with legacy environments. The BroadPeak team provides best of class support, and they genuinely understand how to solve complex integrations and data challenges.

**What do you dislike about K3?**

I do not have any dislikes with the K3 System.

**Recommendations to others considering K3:**

**What problems is K3 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Complex data integrations for regulatory reporting to agencies (e.g., SEC/FINRA and CFTC).

  ### 8. Good experience with K3

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer V. | Business Intelligence Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2021

**What do you like best about K3?**

K3 makes standardizing and aggregating our data fast and easy. We can set up routes ourselves and integrate new data into our system very quickly.

**What do you dislike about K3?**

Nothing. The interface & system is intuitive and easy to use.

**Recommendations to others considering K3:**

I recommend K3 to others.

**What problems is K3 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aggregating and standardizing source data from different places and in different formats. We can set up custom mapping and rules to get the data ready for reporting and analysis.

  ### 9. K3

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie W. | Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2021

**What do you like best about K3?**

K3 is great at connecting to a lot of different systems. APIs, Older Systems, databases. Intuitive and straightforward transformation functionality. The rules engine is a lifesaver.

**What do you dislike about K3?**

Data management is always a challenge. There is just no such thing as a snap of your fingers, and its all magically done for you. That just does not exist. But those of us in data management know which systems reduce the amount of time we spend on junk activities.

**What problems is K3 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving some really complicated blending issues. Another system crashed and burned on this one while K3 does a great job. amzing support from the K3 team. everyone is just focused on getting things done. its great.

  ### 10. Data Pipes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2021

**What do you like best about K3?**

Ive used this for about 6 months. It's pretty cool actually. We have some data pipes that are pretty complicated and need some blending. Other data pipes that are very simple. The ETL portion is really well designed. The rules engine is what sets it apart from the rest. It's just when, then else statements. You can get a lot done with that.

**What do you dislike about K3?**

Can't really think of anything I dislike. For enterprise-type apps, this thing is excellent.

**What problems is K3 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We connect to databases. This is change data control kind of connections using k3. We also process a lot of files. The thing is K3 can read and orchestrate how it ingests files which is smart and keeps us from stepping on our own toes.

  ### 11. K3 for Data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel K. | Director Data Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2021

**What do you like best about K3?**

Incredibly easy to use. Quality support. We have challenging data issues and the support team finds really great solutions.

**What do you dislike about K3?**

Nothing that I can think of. There are always little nuances to applications that are a bit annoying.

**What problems is K3 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we connect to a bunch of different tough data sources. This requires us to do a lot of data blending. Likewise if you just do "dumb" data blending it can end up in a massive proliferation of rows. On this front K3 is very nimble in its ability to generate star schema downstream .

  ### 12. Marketing Business Development

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** scott s. | Writer and Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2021

**What do you like best about K3?**

K3’s experts are easy to work with; they take the time to explain how to use the product for data prep.

**What do you dislike about K3?**

I haven't found anything yet that I dislike.

**What problems is K3 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marketing consultants and communications professionals like me need robust search intent analysis. K3 is easy to use since it is low code and enables you to flow files in-house and third-party data sources and generate standardized results formatted just the way your downstream systems need it.

  ### 13. Making integration easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2021

**What do you like best about K3?**

What impressed me most about K3 was the ability to connect to legacy systems which I thought they could never do.

As far as support, you don't have to deal with bots or people who just record the problem, you receive immediate assistance but from time to time they will get back to you promptly.

**What do you dislike about K3?**

The only negative I can think of is that because of internal policies we are still stuck on the old on premise version while the SaaS solution looks a lot slicker.

**What problems is K3 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’ve gone from 2 analysts making daily C Level dashboards to K3 providing them on demand.

  ### 14. Very good experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alyson T. | Blogger, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2021

**What do you like best about K3?**

we get data from all over our organization. Files, 3 databases, and a couple of applications. All of this is federated and sent to snowflake. We then use K3 to take the data from Snowflake out to a number of key applications, but mostly our snowflake is used to drive business intelligence. Transformation is easy. There are a lot of connectors. The orchestration gets complicated with our business but so far K3 has been able to handle it. There is actually real person support for things.

**What do you dislike about K3?**

Orchestration could use a bit more documentation.

**Recommendations to others considering K3:**

Sure i'll recommend to this software for every organization, it is very easy to use.

**What problems is K3 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The orchestration gets complicated with our business but so far K3 has been able to handle it.

  ### 15. ETL For Our Entire Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James H. | Data Engineer

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2021

**What do you like best about K3?**

The ease of onboarding new sources of data and transforming that data to our propietary format.

**What do you dislike about K3?**

I would like OKTA integration. I know it is on their roadmap but the sooner it is completed the better for us.

**What problems is K3 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Much faster onboarding of enterprise customers.

  ### 16. We use K3

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meenakshi J. | Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2021

**What do you like best about K3?**

K3 pulls all files off of an SFTP location. We transform them and have a bunch of routes . K3 quickly pulls data out and we clean/map/rule it via K3. They all go over to the K3 data warehouse. It's pretty straightforward. K3 does a great job of ETL.

**What do you dislike about K3?**

None that I can think of. The user interface is intuitive. And if you are dealing with legacy systems its awesome.

**Recommendations to others considering K3:**

Yes i strongly preferred K3 software.

**What problems is K3 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

K3 quickly pulls data out and we clean/map/rule it via K3.
