**What do you like best about Joy Loyalty?**

We’ve been using Joy Loyalty Program and it’s been a really great addition to our store.

The app has a lot of useful features and flexible settings, which made it easy for us to set everything up exactly how we wanted. It covers everything you’d expect from a solid loyalty program and more.

What really stands out is the support team. They’re always quick to respond, helpful, and genuinely go the extra mile to assist with any questions or tweaks.

Overall, it offers excellent value for money and works reliably. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a strong loyalty program app on Shopify.

**What do you dislike about Joy Loyalty?**

As for downsides, I don’t see any major ones. The only small improvement I’d suggest is allowing customers to cancel a redeemed discount code themselves, for example if they use fewer points than intended, instead of needing to contact support to fix it.

**What problems is Joy Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joy Loyalty helps us solve a few key problems around customer retention and repeat purchases.

Before using it, we didn’t have a structured way to reward customers or encourage them to come back. Now we can easily offer points, rewards and referrals, which gives customers a clear reason to return and shop again.

It also helps us build stronger relationships with our customers, as they feel rewarded for their loyalty rather than just making one-off purchases.

From a business point of view, it’s helped increase repeat orders and customer lifetime value, while being very easy to manage on our side.

What we like best about Joy Loyalty is the combination of an easy-to-use loyalty system and extremely responsive customer support.

**What do you dislike about Joy Loyalty?**

One area that could still be improved is multi-market and multilingual support for international Shopify stores.

For example, referral links currently use only one default domain instead of dynamically adapting to the customer’s market domain, and notification emails do not yet support automatic translations per market/language.

However, we appreciate that the Joy team is open to feedback and willing to forward these requests to their product team for future consideration.

Joy Loyalty is helping us increase repeat purchases and strengthen long-term customer relationships.

Our products are naturally based on recurring purchases, because customers regularly buy laundry and home care products. The loyalty system motivates customers to return, collect points, use rewards, and engage more with our brand.

The referral program is also very valuable for us because it helps turn satisfied customers into brand ambassadors who recommend our products to friends and family.

Overall, Joy helps us improve customer retention, engagement, and repeat order frequency in a very simple and user-friendly way.

We’ve had a great experience with this rewards app. The admin side is very easy to use, and the layout is clean and user-friendly, which makes it simple to navigate and manage. We were able to set up our program quickly and it was very straightforward. The support team has been excellent! They are responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly, and they resolve any issues promptly. Overall, it’s been a reliable and efficient solution for our rewards program.

The main drawback is the pricing structure. While the app offers great functionality, some features that feel like they should be standard are only available at the highest pricing tier, which doesn’t seem entirely reasonable. That said, the overall quality of the platform and support still make it a strong option.

I’ve been using this app for a couple of years now after switching over from another platform, and I’m really glad we made the move. The app has been stable and reliable, meeting our needs consistently over time. What I appreciate the most is their responsive and professional support team. Whenever I’ve run into an issue, they’ve been quick to help and always followed through to make sure things were resolved properly.

Switching to Joy Loyalty has been a breeze thanks to Hana. They are quick to resolve issues and offer unparalleled customizations. I am still waiting for their technical team to help us with two remaining issues but so far it's looking good.

We are testing out their referral function and it seems to not retrack the promotion even when the order has been cancelled. Hopefully they will fix this soon.

I like Joy Loyalty for its various options on earning points. The referral program is really good and people think of it as easy money, so they are wisely using it. We enabled the earning option for email subscriptions, which allows us to send our campaign emails to more customers. Almost everything was easy to set up, which was a big plus.

Widget UI seems not much perfect and it seems to have many empty spaces. They much have to improve this.

Joy Loyalty solves frequent discount requests by using previous order values to give discounts. It also helps increase email subscribers for campaigns and encourages customers with a rewarding referral program.

**What do you like best about Joy Loyalty?**

I'm a big fan of a well-written knowledge base. When a software company provides a public "wiki" website that details all the features of its app, complete with screenshots or demos, it makes a great first impression. The Joy Loyalty Help Center is packed with valuable information and is the ideal starting point for learning about the app.

I also really value strong post-sale support. The most impressive support comes when an issue arises and the provider responds quickly and professionally, much like the Avada support team has always done for me.

Finally, I truly appreciate that Joy Loyalty integrates with Shopify POS, which helps unify the customer experience both online and in our physical stores. On the topic of Shopify POS, I can also say that the Joy Loyalty app has been the most reliable and stable of all the third-party apps I have used.

**What do you dislike about Joy Loyalty?**

Perhaps the only concern is the price jump from the Advanced to the Ultimate subscription plan. However, this is completely understandable—hard work should be compensated. If a webstore is generating more revenue and requires access to all the features, it makes sense that there would be an additional cost for those benefits.

We were looking for an omnichannel loyalty program experience for our customers, and Joy Loyalty delivered exactly what we needed. Customers who register in our physical store can use the same information to access our web store. Their tiers and points are consistently tracked and accounted for, and they have the ability to convert points into rewards. Additionally, they receive automatic notifications whenever there are any changes.

Joy Loyalty is an incredibly powerful and intuitive tool. The interface is clean, smooth, and very easy to use, even for teams without a technical background. I LOVE that their support team is standing by 24/7 with any questions. They respond within 1 minute each time I need something. 

We just launched our first loyalty program on our website and it took some time to build out. Along the way, I got stuck, and had many, many questions. Any time I ran into an issue, I clicked the live chat, and they were there to assist. In every issue that I came across, their support team was able to completely resolve the issue. They are professional, and have the absolute best customer service and response time. 

I have used many apps over the 12 years that I have been with Shopify and this app is, without a doubt, in a tier by themselves. Well done Joy Loyalty.

I honestly, and genuinely have no complaints and I am not going to try and come up with something just for the sake of putting something down. Everything about this app is truly great.

I like that customer support is always there to assist us, making it easier when we have trouble, especially during setup. The backend being quite easy to get around is another plus, as it helps in managing the loyalty program smoothly.

I wish Joy Loyalty had more features and integrations. Specifically, we can't award points for clicks in newsletters because it doesn't integrate with ActiveCampaign. It would be great to have more options to give points for different actions.

It's an all-in one package and the customer service is unparalleled. Very easy to use and customise, implementation was simple and seamless. The integration features have helped us move our subscription services over.

The only thing Joy lacks is a more trackable statistics/numbers - it would be amazing if we could track more specific data points and KPIs. However, most features I was looking for have been sorted/customised for us by the customer service team.

We needed a loyalty programme for our lovely customers and Joy was an all-in-one solution. We are now able to reward our customers in many different/exciting ways. Joy customer service has helped us with a few major problems also:
We made a beginner's error that resulted in customers missing out on points they should have earned, we were immediately advised on how to fix it and then helped to back date those points so it we didn't have to sift through manually, saving us many hours and stress. When we were building a landing page for our loyalty programme, we wanted a segment that was not available in the standard/provided segments - and not only did Joy build that segment for us but they designed it so we could still customise parts of it. They really went above and beyond here, Sonny has been particularly helpful in our time with Joy.

**What do you like best about Joy Loyalty?**

We’ve had the absolute best experience with the Joy Loyalty (Avada) support team. Every single person we’ve worked with - Cody, Hana, Mark, Audrey, and Liz - has gone above and beyond to help us.

Our migration from Smile.io to Joy could have been stressful, but they quickly stepped in, reviewed our files, and even reformatted data to make the process smooth. Hana and Mark helped well into the morning hours with us on theme compatibility, upgrading our mixed up account pages from OS1 to OS2, and even fixing areas of our theme so that the app would function perfectly - without us having to do much at all. Audrey and Liz assisted with custom requests, removing points calculators from product pages, troubleshooting cart drawer integrations, and making sure our program displayed exactly as we needed.

What stood out most was the availability, efficiency, and kindness of every team member. They were always quick to respond, patient with our questions, and proactive in finding solutions - even reaching out to their technical team when something required deeper adjustments. It’s rare to find a support team that is this consistently helpful and genuinely invested in your success.

Because of their support, our loyalty program migration and setup were not only possible but seamless. We feel completely confident running Joy because we know their team is right there if we need them. Highly recommend the Joy Loyalty app and especially the amazing support staff behind it!

**What do you dislike about Joy Loyalty?**

The only challenge we’ve had is that points are calculated on retail pricing instead of wholesale, and a few customizations needed support help. Thankfully, the support team has always been incredibly fast and proactive in making those adjustments.

**What problems is Joy Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joy Loyalty has solved several challenges for our business. We needed to migrate years of customer rewards data from Smile.io, and the Joy team made that transition seamless. The app gives us a clean, modern loyalty program that integrates with Shopify and allows us to reward customers consistently without extra manual work.

It also solved the problem of customer engagement and retention — customers can now clearly see and redeem points, which encourages repeat purchases and builds loyalty. With the support team’s help, we were also able to tailor the program so it works with our wholesale/retail structure, ensuring the experience feels accurate and trustworthy.

The biggest benefit is that Joy provides an easy-to-manage loyalty system that not only keeps existing customers coming back but also improves the overall shopping experience. It has removed complexity, automated rewards, and helped us focus more on growth instead of fighting with clunky setups.

Bit tricky to set up - lots of stages - but offset bythe excellent customer service

I've had a great experience with Joy Loyalty - extremely prompt, responsive, and efficient. The team is a joy to work with (pun intended!), and I’d highly recommend them to anyone considering their services.

The system requires quite a bit of customisation, so we often need to rely on the technical team for assistance. The points system rounds off values, which limits flexibility — it doesn’t support partial points like 1.5 or 2.5. Also, it currently doesn’t support Apple Pay, which would be a great addition.

Despite these, Joy Loyalty remains a solid platform with top-tier support.

Product features are great for the price compared to some of the more established offerings and just as mature. Technical support is second to none and that is important when it comes to something as feature rich as a rewards platform that needs integrating with comms & website to create great UX.

Implementation had a few minor hiccups but was relatively straightforward. 

Customers are making good use of it and that it was the correct decision on our part to add the feature.

Every time I’ve reached out, I’ve been met with helpful, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind representatives who go above and beyond to assist me. Whether it’s a simple question or a more complicated issue, they always take the time to find the right answer and follow up promptly.

What stands out most is their consistency—I’ve never felt like I was left hanging or had to chase down a solution. Their team genuinely cares and makes the support experience feel personal and stress-free.

If you’re looking for an app with dependable features and world-class support, I highly recommend Joy. It’s rare to find a service that combines great functionality with such a strong commitment to its users.

The only minor downside is that there seem to be fewer tech support reps available during my daytime hours, but it hasn’t been a major issue since they’re still very responsive. It might also be helpful if they added more integrations in the future.
