I find QuickBooks Workforce user-friendly and convenient for handling payroll and tax needs. Employees can securely access their paycheck stubs, W-2s, payroll information, payment history, and tax documents whenever they want, so I don’t have to get those documents for them. it takes the element of error out of the equation to send paystubs incorrectly. It automatically updates employees info and they have access to their own paystubs without having to interrupt HR to get their info they need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

QuickBooks Workforce was very simple to use as an employer (simple fields for regular hours, O/T, PTO, Bonuses, and Tips by employee that were calculated in another system) and our employees were able to log in and find their information very easily, too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The support was horrendous! I had two major issues (QuickBooks actually made a double payment [system glitch for several of their customers] for employee retirement accounts and another one was my mistake) and it took SEVERAL MONTHS and SEVERAL CALLS (and being on HOLD FOR HOURS at a time) to get them resolved -- that was unacceptable! I like that I get notification is I am pending something. I can adjust their pay at any time and it give me the numbers for the upcoming pay period. I like that I can sent the employee their own request to onboard and access their time as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Convenient way to access paystubs and W2s for multiple companies who utilize this program. Has tools to make tracking projects and time easy by making favorites rather than having to scroll down a long list of projects. I like that I only have to enter time, OT, and bonuses, then click “Submit Payroll,” and everything is handled for me. That includes direct deposits, 941s (deposits and quarterly filings) and 940s, plus state withholdings and local withholding filings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don’t like that the filing forms mentioned in the prior answer aren’t automatically emailed to me. Instead, I have to remember to log in and retrieve them for our printed files, and then save or scan them for our electronic records in case QuickBooks is no longer our payroll program. It was easy to set up and it is easy to use. I like the process of direct tax transfer as well. I like the privacy protections of having staff enter their own personal information. The generation of W-2s and payroll vouchers is simple and saves time. We have been working on integrating our donation system to QBO. The availability of FAQs and live support is also a good feature. Our only concern has been the inability to set an alternative payday while using the twice a month pay schedule. We experienced a reverting to the default days when the software is updated.
