&lt;p&gt;The useful test is whether technicians can complete the full field workflow—find the right revision, navigate cross-references, confirm updates, and access documents reliably with limited connectivity. If any of those steps still pushes users back to a desktop, the mobile experience is more companion app than true field replacement.&lt;/p&gt;
