Easy interface and campaign generation that offers quick "drag and drop" customizable features for design and content layout. The Analytics are accurate, offering true campaign effectiveness across segmented contact lists. Every platform, app and system has it's own flaws; some more than others. While I can not find many high concerns or issues using Mailchimp, the one item I dislike and think could easily be adjusted is the way text is displayed and formatted while designing, and what it actually looks like once an email test is run. There are some formatting issues but nothing so concerning that it would make me not want to use the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like newly is how Mailchimp has continued to evolve beyond just email. The improved audience growth tools (especially the revamped popup forms) make lead capture more flexible and mobile-friendly. I also like the enhanced reporting and campaign performance insights, which make it easier to understand what’s working across email and other channels. The automation journeys feel more refined, helping deliver more relevant, personalized messages with less manual effort. Overall, these updates strengthen Mailchimp’s position as a true all-in-one marketing platform while keeping it easy to use and scalable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mailchimp could improve pricing flexibility and make advanced features more accessible across plans. Minor UI consistency improvements and smoother performance during updates would also enhance the overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don’t really like Chimp for marketing, because I think it can feel overthought at times. When I’m working with lists, I get bored pretty quickly. Overall it’s cool, but sometimes it’s hard to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It’s too difficult to work with audiences and some other settings, even though it could be much easier. This is especially true when I try to use marketing segments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I genuinely like how Mailchimp has improved its automation and reporting features. Now, it’s easier to set up campaigns based on user actions and quickly understand what’s working. The integrations with other tools also make it quite convenient to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Pricing can get expensive as the contact list grows, and some useful features are only available on higher plans. The reporting is good, but it can still feel a little confusing when you want deeper insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Audience segmentation works well overall, but once I start managing multiple segments, it can get confusing. I’d like the process to feel more streamlined and easier to navigate, especially when I’m handling several segments at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using Mailchimp since my college days and have watched it successfully evolve from a simple email tool into a robust, all-in-one marketing platform. It still retains its clean UI and excellent, step-by-step onboarding process. What stands out to me now is their new generative AI tools, which make drafting copy and creating layouts much faster. Additionally, the Customer Journey Builder has become significantly more powerful with multi-branch automation triggers, making complex campaigns easier to map out. Pricing remains a consideration, as Mailchimp sits on the higher side compared to alternative tools. While the new generative AI and automation features are great additions, it would be helpful if they were more accessible across the standard tiers rather than being restricted to higher paywalls. Additionally, managing contact limits requires careful planning to stay cost-effective, and customer support response times could still use some improvement when handling team queries. The drag-and-drop editor is intuitive, so I can build attractive campaigns without any design or technical experience. It saves time while still producing professional-looking results. For me, it has been the pop-up banner. I feel this is easier in other platforms. Other than that, not a lot. I feel the pop-up banner is tricky to edit. Also, I want to mention the verification of email domains and domains is sometimes a hurdle with some clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
