**What do you like best about InSync by Qualifacts?**

InSync has been one of the most helpful systems I’ve used in behavioral health. The platform keeps everything in one place from scheduling, documentation, to billing, and client communication which makes my workflow so much smoother. The customization options are a huge plus because I can tailor forms, dashboards, and workflows to match exactly how I work.

One of the features I appreciate most is the ability to schedule Zoom sessions directly through InSync. My clients get one link, one reminder, and one place to join, which cuts down on confusion and makes virtual sessions simple and reliable.

The billing tools are also strong, with a high first‑pass claim rate that reduces denials and speeds up reimbursement. The patient portal is easy for clients to use, and the behavioral‑health‑specific templates make documentation faster and more consistent. InSync helps me stay organized, save time, and provide a smoother experience for my clients.

**What do you dislike about InSync by Qualifacts?**

Because it’s so customizable, the initial setup and learning curve can feel pretty heavy. I’ve found that new staff often need extra time and guidance to get comfortable with it.

Behavioral health specific templates and customizable forms help me complete notes faster and stay compliant without feeling overwhelmed.

**What do you like best about InSync by Qualifacts?**

I like how customizable it can be, and the amount of resources available, such as reports and assessments not found in similar platforms.

**What do you dislike about InSync by Qualifacts?**

The platform is not streamlined very well, and there are multiple tabs to cover in order to do even the most basic of documentation. This requires a lot of loading times, and slows the process down. It also can be quite confusing as many features are simply icons without fully labeling it. It can be too bulky for new users, easy to get lost and confused without extensive training. Also the lack of mobile support leads to multiple issues with providers not able to quickly perform certain tasks, even as basic as canceling an appointment.

**What problems is InSync by Qualifacts solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are enabling us to grow in order to have electronic prescriptions for our medical providers, as well as expanding our ability to do internal audits.

The software is billed as highly configurable and customizable.  The president of the company is accessible.  The billing features work well.

**What do you dislike about InSync by Qualifacts?**

Overall the system is performing at an average level. There are not many “dislikes” to share at this time.

**Recommendations to others considering InSync by Qualifacts:**

No other recommendations to others considering purchasing this product.

**What problems is InSync by Qualifacts solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had multiple goals with the purchase of inSync software: 1)  to enhance our billing system, 2) improve therapist efficiency  with documentation, 3)  a smooth patient portal experience for both our families and our employees 4)  to have documentation with both referral sources and families looking clean and professional.

The primary benefit has been my billing system has working as expected.

**What do you like best about InSync by Qualifacts?**

It is updated regularly at least once a quarter I'd say.

**What do you dislike about InSync by Qualifacts?**

We choose the option of "purchasing" the software, this of course, was a lie because we are no longer with insync, but do you think we still have access to this software that we "purchased" for $13,000?  NO, it is only YOURS if you keep paying the $7,000 yearly maintenance fee.  This is a scam. 

Whenever they wanted to get our attention, they would just put our system in read-only mode; the first two times they did it without warning, we just came in Monday morning and couldn't chart or access insurance records, check patients in or out, or even look up any demographics.  They knew they would cripple us if they turned off access, so they used this to their advantage. The time before last we were forced to pay $1000 payment (even though we had decided that we were not going to pay these crooks anymore money) to get our system turned back on.  This last time we were prepared with an alternative emr already in place.  

When we decided we had enough, we took our business elsewhere; we were still able to access our "read-only" emr in case we needed to look something up with a past prescription or what have you.  We had access until we wrote an honest review on another site.  Once the CEO got wind of it, our access was completely cut off and when we demanded a copy of our patient data here is the response we got from insync:

"I spoke with Roland regarding the price of the data extraction this afternoon. The industry standard for data extractions is between $5,000 and $10,000, and InSync typically charges a fee of $5,000 for this type of data extraction. InSync would consider waiving this fee of $5,000 if you would remove what we believe to be a one-sided and inaccurate review on Software Advice. Otherwise it would be the normal fee of $5,000. This is not intended to be a “ransom” in any way, but rather to part ways amicably and continue on separately.

Please let me know how you would like to proceed.

Did you catch that?  They want $5000 for our data, or I can remove my honest review of them, and then the $5000 magically dissappears?

They may not be holding for ransom, but they are holding it and keeping us from accessing it...and remember this is software we supposedly purchased.  How this company behaves is unethical and disgraceful, they put and continue to put over 1600 patients at risk when we can't access their records.

They solved way less than they created unfortunately.

**What do you like best about InSync by Qualifacts?**

Although the product is robust enough to do whatever we want it to it is simple enough to really make it easily navigable for our teams.  However, this would be the best part of InSync but their training, program and support teams are amazing.  So hands down the customer service is the best thing, even with such a great product.

**What do you dislike about InSync by Qualifacts?**

We currently don't have much to dislike at this point.  Perhaps as we continue on with the product we may find something but the only thing I can think of right now that has been a "dislike" is just how long it takes our assessments to save, and that could easily be because our assessments are really long and that much data does take some time to save.

**Recommendations to others considering InSync by Qualifacts:**

This system is highly recommended not just for the ease of setup but for the team that stands by your side through the whole process, and to my current situation, well after go-live.  The functionality of InSync is intuitive and easy to navigate as well as easy to personalize.

**What problems is InSync by Qualifacts solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had been scattered with the merge into an additional state and other companies coming on board with us so one huge problem was to have  a standard system and process to teach the team.

**What do you like best about InSync by Qualifacts?**

I really enjoy the people that work with the organization. From set up to still working with them 10 months later they answer questions quickly and thoroughly. Every one is always very friendly and willing to go the extra mile. I love that when you reach out to support they immediately want to do a screen share so that you can see what it is exactly you are working on. The program is also very customize able to our practice (which does things differently from every other practice).

**What do you dislike about InSync by Qualifacts?**

I am honestly having a little bit of trouble identifying what is something I dislike - this is simply because if there is something I dislike as a feature I can mention it and they work very hard to make sure it can be made into something I do like! 

The one thing I guess I dislike most is not having the ability to add new providers within the program I understand the reasoning behind it as we only purchase so many "licenses" for providers - but I have used other programs that just "limit" the number of providers you can add. The addition of providers through insync is usually only a 24 hour turn around - but I have found some things seem to get missed in adding them/connection them to practice insight.

**What problems is InSync by Qualifacts solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous program did not do well with running reports and we live and die by reports! The insync ones are so easy to customize and use. This leads to us making positive innovations in our company based off of the information we gather. 

I also realized how much I like the different aspects of the encounter notes. It is a smooth process and covers all the bases!

- That we are able to create a claim from the encounter without using a separate billing system
- Ability to create and edit our own forms
- That we can call customer service at any time and get ahold of someone friendly and ready to help
- Easy clinical workflows
- Implementation was smooth for clinical staff

**What do you dislike about InSync by Qualifacts?**

- It would be great if, on the New Charge Screen, each claim would expand like in the Payment screen in order to see more information about the claim (such as CPT codes, at least)
- We are not often aware of how close we are to getting larger problems fixed and it can be hard to get substantial updates
- It can be confusing about where certain data on reports comes from and it is not possible to build fully customized reports

**Recommendations to others considering InSync by Qualifacts:**

Great support when implementing, as long as you are prepared internally and take it seriously. We went from paper to InSync and it went well.

Stay up-to-date with updates! Things change, and they are usually helpful, but you need to be up to date. 

Their billing and clinical stuff is well-integrated.

**What problems is InSync by Qualifacts solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Challenge of working remotely
- Multiple providers accessing same chart information
- Easier to track hours and productivity
- Easier to track which services we spend the most time on
- Easier to run reports on patient demographic information
- Useful for tracking assessment tool results
- Tracking referrals

InSync has provided an EMR that meets our needs on many levels. The product has many useful "out of the box" features, yet we have been able to create forms that are required by our regulators.

There has been very little that we dislike.  There are so many features that we continue to learn every day.

**Recommendations to others considering InSync by Qualifacts:**

Plan for an excellent on-boarding experience, with great in-person training and support.

**What problems is InSync by Qualifacts solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have moved from paper records to an EMR. We have been able to offer Telehealth seamlessly to our clients which we could never have achieved.  The reports offered through InSync are valuable and provide easy access to outcomes.  Their customer service has been excellent in responding to questions or requests for help.

**What do you like best about InSync by Qualifacts?**

All the representatives in the company are always polite and more than helpful. Our Contract Manager Tony Spino has only been working with myself and my COO for about 2 weeks and I have had to call him numerous times and he has always made it priority to help us with whatever we are inquiring about, to include an estimate for our company to get a training in order to "drive this Ferrari smoothly". Additionally, the system is constantly updating and being reviewed to enhance what our practice is requesting in order to improve our practice management and billing cycles.

**What do you dislike about InSync by Qualifacts?**

Pilots get rolled out without being stated that they are beta tested. Or with instruction about how to participate in beta testing.

**Recommendations to others considering InSync by Qualifacts:**

Be thorough in your training, absorb as much as you can and really take the time to set it up properly. This system will be amazing to utilize to it's fullest potential once we have a better understanding of all it's capabilities.

**What problems is InSync by Qualifacts solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to condense paperwork from all departments and are "going green". We have been utilizing many more features within the system in order to maintain records and communicate with several departments and refrain from utilizing multiple software systems at once when our system can do it all.

This software is very user friendly. I really like how you can run reports that are very comprehensive and export to excel with filters already build in, patient portal, update of the software, insync university,  customer service,and speed of the system.

**What do you dislike about InSync by Qualifacts?**

I would like for the patient portal to be offer in another language beside English. There is sometime a slight delay when you submit a support ticket but has gotten better in the few months. It would be nice to see  when you submit a support ticket get a response back saying your request has been submit and provide update of your request.

**Recommendations to others considering InSync by Qualifacts:**

Please offer the patient portal in other languages beside English

Offering the patient portal and be able to have our patient have access to this. Sending faxes through Insync, uploading document.

The ability to have a voice in enhancements and the features that are offered.  InSync is exceptional at listening to their clients and allowing them input int he products they use.   They are constantly upgrading the most used features to make our life better and easier.

**What do you dislike about InSync by Qualifacts?**

It may take some time to get upgrades due to the constant improvements, but they are worth the wait.

**Recommendations to others considering InSync by Qualifacts:**

Anyone interested should ask for a demonstration.  They are very out of the box thinkers and can provide solutions that you may not expect.  The demonstration will help in deciding if the software can meet your unique needs.

InSync serves as an all-in-one, schedule, documentation, and billing  software.  It helps with consistency in documentation and keeps notes compliant while incorporating an easy to use billing module.

I have no complaints. Transitions to a new program are always tricky!

Consistent updating of products.  Most of all, the customer service provided by Shelby, Ayesha and the Call Center Team continues to be outstanding - even five years later!

Our clinicians have loved the new system.  It has significantly reduced their paperwork time!  We also appreciate the constant updates/improvements being made to the system.

**What do you dislike about InSync by Qualifacts?**

Some of our billing procedures had to be revamped - some resulted in process improvements, and a few others are minor inconveniences.

Clinicians have seen a significant reduction in their paperwork time with this system!

I like that Insync, at the beginning had been very open to suggestions of changes that would help our business function better.

**What do you dislike about InSync by Qualifacts?**

The timeline to have any changes made has grown to such an extent that we are currently waiting for more than six months to see changes, if at all.

**What problems is InSync by Qualifacts solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The training made it much more doable for the providers, there was one on one when needed during the on-site set up.  We were already on an EMR so the benefits were based more on the ease of the transfer from one to another rather than in addition to.

I like the Insync provides a lot of functionality.  It has more capability then I can even comprehend at this point.

It seems like there are too many steps to doing some things.

**What problems is InSync by Qualifacts solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My biggest issue so far has been getting our new providers set up correctly.  We are hoping that those issues will now be resolved with the help of Shelby Forsch, who seems to be more than willing to help us get our issues resolved quickly and to our satisfaction.  She has been amazing.

The things that i best about InSync:
- The Support and staff are very helpful and responsive to our needs.
- Even the company owner was very helpful when we needed support.
- Extremely customizable which made us curate it according to our needs.

Dislikes:
- Unable to generate specific reports as per our standards.
- Using it manually can be a real pain.

The general ERM Problems.

We have a meeting weekly with the InSync director who asks us what needs to be fixed to keep the sight constantly running the easiest most efficient way it can.

**What do you dislike about InSync by Qualifacts?**

There is often bugs that can go a long time without being resolved.

Tell the director when something is going wrong.

This comprehensive program made it easy to track progress updates on patients and patients review pertinent information.

Every now and then the system would crash.
