We have a strong IT team that is quite capable. So we defined our needs very specifically, deciding where we use Innovia services and internal IT resources upfront. So, for simple, quick consultation needs, we use on-demand consultation coordinated by Holly with Innovia's subject matter experts. For more significant programming development projects, our IT team collaborates with Innovia. This two-prong approach makes it very efficient and cost-effective for us. Our engagement with Innovia has been for just under a year, but it has been a very rich experience. During the first few consultations, they did a great job walking us through portions of Microsoft Navision that we were already using but didn’t grasp how to utilize efficiently. A comment from one of our staff summed it all up nicely when he mentioned after a training session that one of the settings he changed during the training, based on Innovia’s recommendation, paid for the sessions because of the time it saved him.

Their expertise is in the effective use of NAV in manufacturing. So, our focus has been around all aspects of operations, covering production, procurement, logistics and order processing. Our operations team is pleased to have Innovia as a resource to show how to use NAV efficiently and address some of the process issues with their creative solutions.

Besides direct consultations, problem-solving and programming, they also offer exposure to industry’s best practices through participation in their customer conferences. One such experience led us to select an add-on module, based on the experience of other customers in the conference addressing the same issues. As our newly signed NAV partners, we are now working with Innovia to install this add-on.
