I enjoy how Infor CPQ (Configure Price Quote) allows users to generate quotations very quickly, which is pretty cool. The 3D imaging feature is also something I find valuable because it lets users configure and see products in a 3D view, similar to how you can rotate products on a site like Amazon. This visualization helps when selecting specifications. Transitioning to the cloud-based version has been helpful, as it allows sales reps and distributors to log in from anywhere and access quotations without connecting to an on-prem system, which is very convenient for our team. I find that Infor CPQ feels like a legacy system to me right now, and we're not using advanced features as much as we could. It seems like there's room for improvement in the system, and we're looking forward to enhancements. Also, the initial setup wasn't easy at all, especially because our products are really complex. CPQ is indispensable for us when it comes to capturing the many variables that go into our configurable products and then translating them, through our manufacturing rules, into a reliable Order BOM and Job BOM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Because our sales cycle is long, the detailed traces sometimes roll off the history by the time we need to look back. When a customer order has a technical problem, we may need those older traces to understand how the issue on a configured product made it through to the job materials.
