**Recommendations to others considering Inaport:**

The person responsible for using Inaport needs programming experience. My secretary is not able to do anything but run the queries that David has created for us. I do have programming experience and I find it difficult as well.

  ### 2. A great migration tool for CRM

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David C. | Technical Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2016

**What do you like best about Inaport?**

Once you've used Inaport a few times, creating a new profile and testing can be really straight forward. It understands the data structure of the target CRM so often you only need to add a small number of fields to get going. Other good features are the user and file maps, the in-built data manipulation functions (e.g. CRM specific, RegEx, MIME, and file handling) and the ability to use direct SQL.

**What do you dislike about Inaport?**

Performance on large datasets with complicated profiles. Plan your migration steps carefully. As you refine an individual migration profile it can get very complicated and start to affect performance on large datasets so make sure you do plenty of bulk import testing to see how long it takes. Try to separate out data manipulation tasks in a logical way than just adding them all into a single profile. InaPlex support are good at offering advice and tips so make sure you get some help at the start of your project.

**Recommendations to others considering Inaport:**

Get a free Evaluation licence and see if it works with your CRM and setup. Ask support for assistance as they've usually got experience migrating from/to the CRM you're dealing with.

**What problems is Inaport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting data out of multiple sources and into a new CRM system. The main benefit is having a supported way to tackle data migrations.

  ### 3. Comprehensive tool for CRM import/export

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerome M. | CRM Data and Development Manager, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2016

**What do you like best about Inaport?**

The software offers a vast library of tools to match, transform and import data to our CRM system. It gives us the flexibility to enforce data integrity during the import process without placing demands on our data providers who may not have the knowledge/skills to prepare their data in advance.

The ability to change the matching process to improve performance depending on target/source data sizes is a nice feature, as is the ability to create shared data mapping files/profiles/connectors for collaborative working

**What do you dislike about Inaport?**

A slightly longer learning curve than other products, but that's probably due to the large amount of functionality the tool offers. Support / help guides are a great resource

**What problems is Inaport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Single tool to handle all automated and ad-hoc imports/exports to/from our CRM system.

  ### 4. Great, feature-rich import/export tool for CRM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John N. | Partner, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2016

**What do you like best about Inaport?**

Very powerful, lots of extras. It has a simple to use interface, yet includes very technical, powerful features when needed. Allows "techies" to do some "behind the scenes" extras, while still providing a quick turnaround on development of custom import/exports.

**What do you dislike about Inaport?**

Fairly steep learning curve. Some of the logic behind the process flow is subtle and may cause a bit of a trial-n-error approach on more complex needs..

**Recommendations to others considering Inaport:**

Definitely download and install the free trial. Give the learning curve a chance.

**What problems is Inaport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to manipulate and move data just about anywhere, from point A to point B, massaging the data, as needed, along the way. Have provided a number of clients with "integrations" between otherwise disparate systems.

  ### 5. I use Inaport for years now

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Philippe K. | CIO, Utilities, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2016

**What do you like best about Inaport?**

Inaport is very flexible and easy to use (I talk about it's wizard steps approach).
It also includes some target CRM intelligence.
The support is great and fast.

**What do you dislike about Inaport?**

Never met Hellen or David ...
I really regret it ;-)

**What problems is Inaport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Doing CRM project for several years.
I use Inaport as a migration and interfacing tool, mostly with ERP / DWH systems.

  ### 6. Excellent Data Import capabilities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leonardo N. | Delivery Manager, Associate Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2016

**What do you like best about Inaport?**

Data conversion functionalities, performances with ExecuteMultiple options, licensing model, pricing, Inaplex Sales and Technical support.

**What do you dislike about Inaport?**

Import scheduling (using Windows Task Manager)

**What problems is Inaport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adopted in several customers' Dynamics CRM projects, really useful and appreciated also to the customer IT pros.

  ### 7. Great Tool for CRM Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lance D. | Microsoft Dynamics CRM Administrator, Wholesale, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2016

**What do you like best about Inaport?**

the ability to integrate in from several different source(s) & file types

**What do you dislike about Inaport?**

Time taken when doing several data changes during a job, could be better.

**What problems is Inaport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Importing data from a legacy Progress based application into CRM.

  ### 8. A great product for CRM import and export

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dale W. | President, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2016

**What do you like best about Inaport?**

Inaport is the Swiss Army Knife of imports, and I've long been a fan of using this tool as compared to creating custom import scripts. Its best feature is the built-in understanding of the target CRM, saving a lot of work as you do the import.

**What do you dislike about Inaport?**

Like any product, there is a learning curve to get through in order to effectively use it. The first time I used Inaport, I tried to "force" some import actions to occur; these resulted in very slow import. When I asked their Technical Support group about it, they quickly set me straight and helped me understand how to write efficient import scripts.

**Recommendations to others considering Inaport:**

Investigate the free trial; buy and use the CRM migration templates if available for your system.

**What problems is Inaport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a consultant, I used Inaport for many successful CRM migrations. In this context, it is important to be able to build a set of scripts that accomplish the entire migration, allowing it to be run repeatedly so that it is perfected for the final production move. Inaport supports this by chaining multiple component scripts together into a single import.

I've also use Inaport to load Lead data into a CRM on an ongoing basis. The data to be imported requires manipulation and transformation before being loaded into the CRM, and Inaport handles this with ease.

  ### 9. I had used Inaport successfully for several years

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gerry Y. | Senior CRM Developer, Telecommunications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2016

**What do you like best about Inaport?**

It is very flexible to work with, handling most all of my needs. The User Interface is easy to work with and very intuitive. I very rarely had to use the help function within the product structure.

Although, at first I used it to migrate Goldmine to CRM, I later expanded my use of Inaport ro other applications like recurring imports into CRM from a range import sources like Excel, CSV and SQL.

By the way, it is the best product I know to work within the Goldmine structure.

As a former partner with Inaport I can speak personally about the staff that it is top-notch and very responsive to making this product excellent. It is competitively priced setting it up as an excellent option within the CRM Integration market.

**What do you dislike about Inaport?**

It has been a while since I used the Product so I cannot speak on this.

**What problems is Inaport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Migration from other CRM products, mainly Goldmine, to Microsoft CRM. Periodic imports and updates to Microsoft CRM.

Archaically to import and update Goldmine.

  ### 10. Inaport ERP/CRM Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco A. | Systems Manager, Packaging and Containers, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2016

**What do you like best about Inaport?**

I like the way you can change database connections between production and development environments to test your statements.

**What do you dislike about Inaport?**

The simplicity connecting to different databases doesn't apply to the complex UI, it took me a little bit of time understanding many available features within the screens.

**What problems is Inaport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I integrated information from legacy ERP databases (MAS200) into our CRM (SalesLogix), providing meaningful information to our remote sales reps concerning invoice history, open orders, item history and access to drawings and processes all from our CRM. This information is also available to the customer service and other sales related departments and easily access to valuable information to be concerned during customer service activities.

  ### 11. Used inaport to bring data in from webtolead into Goldmine

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal K. | CRM Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2015

**What do you like best about Inaport?**

Once set up the it works with out issues.

**What do you dislike about Inaport?**

setting up can be a bit of a pain and getting support can sometimes take some time

**Recommendations to others considering Inaport:**

inaport does a great job once it has been set up.

You do require training and support if you face issues.

All in all its a good product once you know what you are doing.

**What problems is Inaport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

automation of leads, licences information and trialists for our customer base.

Data passed into goldmine via inaport.

  ### 12. Working with Inaport and GoldMine CRM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jill M. | GoldMine Data Diva, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2015

**What do you like best about Inaport?**

the ease and support from the company that creates Inaport (Inaplex) is awesome.
I have used it many times to gather data from ACT or other sources and importing into GoldMine without duplicating data already in GoldMine.

**What do you dislike about Inaport?**

the connection to the sources and destinations could have a testing button.

**Recommendations to others considering Inaport:**

This is a tool to help keep your CRM clean and useful.

**What problems is Inaport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

importing data into a fresh GoldMine CRM system or updating data. Also can be used to find bad data and correct it.

  ### 13. Innaport Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Afua K. | CRM Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2015

**What do you like best about Inaport?**

I like it built in feature. it has rich functions for date manipulations, and transformation.

**What do you dislike about Inaport?**

compared to scribe, innaport lucks the ability to link multiple processes/profiles into one project

**Recommendations to others considering Inaport:**

I think Innaport should borrow a few ideas from Scribe and add features that allow users to link multiple operation in a single profile.

**What problems is Inaport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am migrating database from disparate sources into MS CRM and SageCRM. the inbuilt functions are fantastic.

  ### 14. solved a big problem for me

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gregor R. | Director of Project Management, Hospital & Health Care, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2015

**What do you like best about Inaport?**

great flexibility and rule control, intuitive design

**What do you dislike about Inaport?**

documentation was light, had to work with an outside consultant to get everything I needed

**What problems is Inaport solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a way to grab real time site visit data and use that information to drive informed call campaigns, effectively changing cold calls into very timely warm touches. Sales conversions off those calls lifted nearly 50% in the first weeks of implementing.

  ### 15. Awesome Data Importing Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark R. | VP of Sales, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2013

**What do you like best about Inaport?**

Easy to setup and administer. Works great with my CRM (GoldMine). I have used this tool to both do a one time very complex import job as well as setup recurring jobs that update my CRM daily. Tech support is amazing. Works with 5 of the major CRM products.

**What do you dislike about Inaport?**

Love it all.

**Recommendations to others considering Inaport:**

If you need to do data importing this is a great choice.

  ### 16. Great tool for data import into CRM

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul I. | Adobe Express Global Ambassador, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2013

**What do you like best about Inaport?**

The wizard driven steps to manipulating and then importing your data is intuitive and incredibly flexible. It does take some learning to understand the regular expressions that can be used, but it is a great way to take data from a legacy system and place it into CRM. It can be used with GoldMine, Sage CRM and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

**What do you dislike about Inaport?**

The support from InaPlex is great, but the company is relatively small and you may find a delay due to the time difference between parties.

**Recommendations to others considering Inaport:**

Always think about where the data is coming from and whether it is easier to cleanse at source rather than use Inaport to do it.
